Twilight star Taylor Lautner appears on the December cover of Men’s Health and shares his secret to packing on 30 pounds of muscle in a year. Below are some quotes from his interview with the magazine, out November 17th.

Lautner is counting on continuing to grow into his character for the third movie in the Twilight series due out in mid-2010. “My character continues to grow, so I’d like to pack on a t least a few more lean pounds.”

Lautner had to cut down his cardio to pack on the bulk. “I was exercising so hard that I began to lose weight,” he said.

Lautner’s trainer, Jordan Yuam says anyone can build muscle like Taylor. “Inexperience works to your advantage. The less muscle you have the easier it is to gain muscle mass more quickly.”
