Jenna Fischer has a Crock-Pot to thank for a better sex life.

Self magazine editors asked the Office star to adopt a few healthy lifestyle changes — including using the slow cooker — over a two-week “Get-Healthier-and-Happier Challenge” — and she discovered some extra perks!

“My boyfriend [writer Lee Kirk] adored it!” says the star — who would throw in ingredients before leaving for work at 5 a.m., and then come home to dinner already done.

“Since we didn’t have to cook [at night], it left time for hanky-panky!” she says, adding that it’s “the best invention since the microwave for busy women who want a home-cooked meal.”

Self (on stands Jan. 20) also instructed Fischer to jog 20 minutes a day, clean out her closet and get eight hours of sleep.

(“‘This is going to change my life!’ I thought,” she jokes after accepting the challenge. “[Then] regret began to set in. I already wake up at 5 a.m.; what more do you want from me? My brain likes to watch The Real Housewives of Orange County and pet my cat.”)

The change she “loved” most? Ditching her BlackBerry the day she shot her sitcom’s Valentine’s Day episode.

“We had so much fun [on set],” she says. “I spent way more time talking to different crew members and joking with other actors. It turned out to be one of the most fun shoots of the year. I totally believe it was because I wasn’t distracted by my BlackBerry.”

The actress ended up leaving the device in her trailer while shooing Solitary Man in NYC with Michael Douglas, and calls her workdays “much less stressful because of the change.”
