“America’s Biggest Sleepover,” an event created to bring together teen girls from across the country, hosted by American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. The nationwide, online event will be hosted on November 7 on beinggirl.com, a site by Always and Tampax. And the best part — for every girl who signs up to participate on beinggirl.com, Always will donate $1 to the Protecting Futures program, which helps girls in developing regions stay in school, up to $25,000.

Protecting Futures works with partner organizations to provide puberty education, sanitary protection, and sanitary facilities to help vulnerable girls in sub-Saharan Africa stay in school. Because of programs like America’s Biggest Sleepover, by the end of 2009, Protecting Futures will have reached approximately 115,000 girls in 17 countries, and is committed to reaching 1 million girls by 2012.
