Don’t go there! A judge halted lurid questions Thursday that aimed to show Anna Nicole Smith had lesbian romps with her shrink so the doc would keep her stocked with mountains of prescription meds.
“I’m not going to turn this into some circus sideshow,” said Judge Robert Perry before prosecutors could get very far into quizzing Smith’s bodyguard Maurice Brighthaupt about the dalliances.
“What’s the relevance?” he demanded, of the supposed trysts between the Playboy model and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich.
“It goes to Dr. Eroshevich’s intent, if you will, providing the medication to (her),” said Deputy District Attorney Renee Rose.
“There’s evidence of a sexual relationship,” she said “and our contention (is that it) is part of the motivation for Dr. Eroshevich to continue to provide medication in excessive quantities.”
“I’m not buying this,” said the judge, who will decide whether the shrink, another doc, and Smith’s lawyer-boyfriend Howard K. Stern will stand trial for conspiring to dope her up.

“You don’t need to get that far into this to make the minimal showing required for a preliminary hearing,” he said.
Eroshevich’s lawyer agreed,”Whether there was any intimate relationship between Dr. Eroshevich and Anna has no relevance to whether Anna was an addict and whether Dr. Eroshevich possessed criminal intent in prescribing medications to her,” said attorney Adam Braun.
News of the romps surfaced last month when a search warrant affidavit revealed the existence of photos depicting the two women naked together in a bathtub in “various intimate embraces.”
Earlier in the day, Brighthaupt testified that he regularly discussed Smith’s addiction with Eroshevich, and that both agreed she needed to scale back her usage or go to rehab.
Brighthaupt testified that Smith nearly died in October 2006 after taking an “abundance of pills,” swilling chloral hydrate and falling into the pool at her Bahamas estate.
He said Smith sank to the bottom of the 7-foot deep end, and he had to dive in, fish her out and peform CPR.
“She scared us to death,” Brighthaupt said.
Smith died from a drug overdose on Feb. 8, 2007. Stern, Eroshevich and a second doctor, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, face charges they plied the former Playboy model with pills to remain members of her entourage.
They’ve pleaded not-guilty.
After the preliminary hearing, Judge Perry will decide whether there’s enough evidence to send them to trial.
