The newest film he is hoping propels him into the respected actor’s club. Justin made some headway with his unexpectedly engrossing portrayal of a drug dealer in Alpha Dog (didn’t hurt that he spent much of the film shirtless) but the 27-year-old has yet to sink his teeth into a role that makes his acting career as successful as his music career.
The movie has a lot of esteemed actors supporting Justin — Jeff Bridges co-stars as his estranged father and Mary Steenburgen plays his mother — so this looks to be JT’s best shot at big screen stardom.
