It might not have been in the job description, but there were certainly no complaints when Katy Perry called on a male assistant to fix her outfit while filming a new video clip in Los Angeles yesterday.
The crew member helped the singer adjust her hot pink and black dress while filming scenes under a fountain at the Rose Gardens.
The playful star seemed unfazed at being manhandled and happily continued working on the video for Star Strukk, a collaboration with electroband 3oh!3.
Earlier the 24-year-old filmed scenes wearing a leopard-print mini-dress and vertiginous purple heels.
But while she may have looked ultra glam, she was actually hiding a dark grooming secret – hairy legs and a pimply face.
The Waking Up In Vegas singer revealed she arrived on set with spot cream on her face.
‘About to get scandalous in a fountain with 3oh3,’ she wrote on Twitter, referring to a naughty scene in the video.
‘But first I must go through the glam squad as I am arriving with zit cream still on. ZEXY!’
And she later tweeted to a friend on the micro-blogging site, ‘HELP: I skipped out on shaving my legs this morn and about to go shoot 30h3 music video. Will I be okay? Is it good luck?’
The singer is collaborating with the Colorado-based band, which is made up of Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte.
