Former Frasier star Kelsey Grammer is relying on the testimony of a retired district attorney to keep the man who killed his sister behind bars.
The actor’s sibling was raped, beaten and stabbed by thug Freddie Glenn after he botched a robbery in Colorado in 1975, and now the killer is up for parole.
Glenn has been a model prisoner and his chances of a release in January – after serving 30 years behind bars – are looking good.
But Robert Russel, the district attorney who prosecuted Glenn, is determined to make sure the murderer dies in jail.
He says, “I will do everything I can to make sure society is protected from Freddie Glenn. He’s a psychopath who showed no remorse for Karen Grammer when he slaughtered her like an animal”.
Actor Grammer has confessed he spent years sinking into a deep depression, fuelled by alcohol, after his sister’s death.
