This past Tuesday in Washington D.C., Lexus honored the legendary sounds of Motown with their iconic event series, the Lexus Listening Lounge.
Guests were serenaded by the soulful sounds of rising R&B sensations Hal Linton and producer/songwriter/singer Ryan Leslie as they performed songs from their much anticipated albums.
Both artists performed works from their highly anticipated albums at the modern event space, Long View Gallery. Showcasing local and regional artists, Long View keeps a finger on the DC art pulse and pushes boundaries for the city’s events.
The event was hosted by Dyana Williams, renowned veteran radio and music industry professional, and host of “Soulful Sunday,” a weekly show broadcast via Radio One adult contemporary station.
Williams is also the co-founder of the Pennsylvania based, non-profit advocacy organization, the International Association of African American Music Foundation (IAAAM Foundation). Each Sunday, 10am to 3pm, Dyana Williams can be found at 107.9 WRNB-FM in Philadelphia.
