Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is trash-talking off the court again. The object of his ire? Fellow billionaire and Yahoo CEO Jerry Yang, who passed on a bid from Microsoft to buy his Web company. “Jerry’s too nice a guy,” says Cuban. “Sometimes, when a competitor like Google comes along, you’ve got to get mean, and you’ve got to get tough.” Perhaps Cuban has a point – the last offer Yang passed on was for $47.5 billion. Yahoo’s now worth less than $17 billion.
