Internet Explorer users may have received a message when visiting Celebrity Mound sometime over the past few days prompting you to download some spyware which contained a Trojan horse virus.
I am so sorry about this!
The problem has been corrected and the video I had embeded on the website in one of my posts has been removed. Celebrity Mound is safe again.
You might notice in Google organic search results that there is a message under my organic search results stating that this website might harm your computer. This is no longer the case and I am working with Google to get this statement removed. They will crawl my site over the next few days and remove that statement from organic search.
If you did happen to download that software please do a complete system scan using your virus protection software – just in case. Your virus program should have warned you before you installed the software, but you can never be too safe. If you are on a Mac like me – no worries – we couldn’t even see it – which is why it went on for a few days without my knowing. If you hate dealing with viruses…just trust me and go buy a Mac!
Celebrity Mound has a policy in place and I never allow spyware on my website. You will never click on spyware advertising here. I also do my very best to screen my videos I upload and the sites I link to so that you never encounter sites that are not safe.
Please accept my apology and know that everything is repaired and Celebrity Mound is once again safe.
