Jennifer Aniston is shelling out $21 million for a magnificent California Modern dwelling in the hills of Bel Air. With an original listing price of $24.9 million, it seems that the real estate juggling actress got quite the bargain on the mid-century mod designed by architect A. Quincy Jones, sources say.

Built in 1965, the completely remodeled 8,500-square-foot property features the quintessential modernist features; post-and-beam architecture with flowing lines and symmetry, vast interior spaces and floor-to-ceiling walls of glass open the home to ocean and city views. Besides the home, Aniston’s new private estate includes a tranquil koi pond and garden, pool and a detached guest house, while the rear of the property is lined with rows of grapevines.

The Cast of “The Voice,” CHRISTINA AGUILERA, ADAM LEVINE and BLAKE SHELTON make an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Friday, February 3rd. Ellen talks with the cast about Randy Jackson’s comments on “The Voice.”

Adam Levine on Randy Jackson’s comment about ‘The Voice.”

Ellen: So Randy Jackson said, basically because there are bunch of singing competitions on the air right now. Randy said that, ‘The Voice” is basically kind of a second chance place. People that don’t get in someplace else go to ‘The Voice.”

Adam Levine: I heard about this. Shame on Randy Jackson for saying that because he out of anybody should know that if you’re in this business you need second, third, fourth and fifth chances. So we love and embrace that being part of the show. You know, god bless Randy. He was a working musician for a long time and had a lot of success and then the show “Idol” kind of blew him out of the water. And he is a household name now. It was an irresponsible thing to say that.

Roseanne Barr said Thursday she’s running for the Green Party’s presidential nomination – and it’s no joke.

The actress-comedian said in a statement that she’s a longtime supporter of the party and looks forward to working with people who share her values. She said the two major parties aren’t serving the American people.

“The Democrats and Republicans have proven that they are servants — bought and paid for by the 1 percent — who are not doing what’s in the best interest of the American people,” Barr said.

Occupy Wall Street protesters popularized the “We are the 99 percent” slogan in their fight against economic disparity and perceived corporate greed.

Barr has submitted paperwork to the Green Party for her candidacy. The party’s presidential nominee will be selected at a convention in Baltimore in July.

Barr said she has been fighting for working-class families and women for decades.

“I will barnstorm American living rooms,” she said in a candidate questionnaire submitted to the Green Party. “Mainstream media will be unable to ignore me, but more importantly they will be unable to overlook the needs of average Americans in the run-up to the 2012 election.”

Barr’s hit TV sitcom “Roseanne” aired from 1988 to 1997 and earned her an Emmy and a Golden Globe. She played a wise-cracking mom in the comedy about a blue-collar family. Barr has a 46-acre macadamia nut farm in Hawaii.

Julianne Hough shimmied her way to fame with some of Hollywood’s hottest guys on Dancing With the Stars. Now, the 23-year-old’s big screen career has led her to the biggest A-listers in the biz.

Hough talked to Parade.com about her tweet from Kevin Bacon, co-starring with Tom Cruise, making time for boyfriend Ryan Seacrest, and more.

On balancing her busy career with her relationship with boyfriend Ryan Seacrest.
It’s a hard thing to do, especially when you’re so caught up in your work and bettering yourself. It does get hard because you’re so focused on that, but I think at the end of the day you have to find a balance with what’s really important. I’m so lucky that I have a great relationship. I’m very blessed and I don’t take anything for granted. I think if you alienate people and just focus on your work then it just becomes lonely and it’s not fun anymore.”

On co-star Tom Cruise.
“Where do I go from there? It’s very cool to be able to say that my first real film was Footloose and my second film I got to start alongside Tom Cruise and Catherine Zeta-Jones. I’m very fortunate and I know it doesn’t happen like that every day, so I’m definitely still counting my blessings and working really hard.”

On dealing with fame and paparazzi.
“I don’t think you can ever get used to it. It’s definitely strange. Especially since I grew up in a family that it’s all about family and not about materialistic things. So it is weird, but I guess it comes with what it is. You have to remember where you came from, and I definitely have enough brothers and sisters to kick me in the butt whenever I get out of line!”

Visit Parade.com for the full interview, where Julianne reveals why she put the breaks on her country music career and why she’s tuning in to watch Ryan on American Idol each week.

Tonight’s episode of MTV’s show “The Challenge: Battle of the Exes” had an shocking twist as two teams where sent packing. After winning the challenge and being named “power couple,” Vinny and Sarah chose Wes and Mandi to go into the Dome against Leroy and Naomi. However, when Vinny engaged in inappropriate conduct during a group outing, TJ was forced to send Vinny and his innocent partner, Sarah, home.

During the challenge, ironically called “hooking up,” the teams had to hold on to each other while swinging from beam to beam. Paula and Dunbar dominated the first round placing themselves in the finals with Vinny and Sarah, who were ultimately able to swing themselves into victory. After failing to swing across a single beam, Leroy and Naomi found themselves on the bottom.

Wes, clearly unliked by the housemates, found himself and teammate Mandi in the Dome for a second time in a row. But after defending his teammate when her top was embarrassingly pulled off by her former cast-mate Vinny, Wes finally showed his softer side.

The girls went head to head in the Dome, but ultimately the team’s fate was left in the hands of the guys. Wes, unable to compete with Leroy’s strength, lost both rounds sending him and teammate Sarah home.

“The Challenge: Battle of the Exes” is hosted by pro BMXer TJ Lavin and airs on MTV at 10PM ET/PT. This season brings together 13 pairs of former lovers in the exotic Dominican Republic, as they come together to compete for $300,000 in cash prizes. This Challenge is unlike any other yet, as these former lovers will have to get beyond their past issues and the added emotional pressure that comes along with being in close proximity with your ex, to work together for the ultimate prize.

Starting Wednesday, February 1, fans can submit designs for the “POWER” challenge until February 29th at masscanvas.com. ALL entries will be featured on masscanvas.com. Entrants and fans can comment on designs throughout the challenge and VOTE for the top 20 designs. On March 22, Pete Wentz will choose 5 winning tees (each receiving a $1,000 cash prize), from the top 20, which he feels best represent the theme. The 5 winning tees will be printed in limited quantity, individually hand-numbered, and sold in support of the charitable cause.

What does the contest entail? “Maybe it’s not the typical public perception of power… but I’m talking about the power that everyone has within them. To me what separates the top designs from all the rest is one where you can see that the person put their heart into it. You can see that they really believe in the grander idea,” says Pete.

A portion of the sales of winning T-shirts will benefit Invisible Children (to end use of child soldiers in Central Africa)

The former women’s No. 1 was spotted out in Paris on Monday with Bulgarian tennis pro Grigor Dimitrov. A spy said the pair had lunch at hip restaurant L’Avenue, and then left together for a romantic stroll on the streets of Paris, where Williams has an apartment. They were also spotted visiting the Eiffel Tower. Despite the age gap — Dimitrov is 20 and Williams 30 — the spy said, “They were laughing and seemed to really enjoy each other’s company. It looked like a first date.” Williams and rapper/actor Common dated on and off for a few years before splitting in 2010. Williams was back in Boston last night for Fed Cup matches against Belarus.
