Russell Simmons was soaked and then steamed at the Sunflower Children Gala at Hammerstein Ballroom the other night.
“One Wall Street broker was so drunk and was so keen to meet Russell that he tripped over himself and poured his drink all over Russell,” one spy said.
Later, rowdy guests refused to listen to music legend Quincy Jones as he gave a speech, prompting the hip-hop mogul to grab the mic and shout, “Shut up. I am donating $10,000 and I’m out of here.” Other guests included poker champ Jamie Gold and supermodel Paulina Porizkova.
