Adopting a child has become the most fashionable thing to do. Stars are buying up children like Coach bags in Hollywood.
Latino pop star Ricky Martin is planning to follow in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie and Madonna by adopting a brood of underprivileged children. The singer is already helping to house Indian street children through his Ricky Martin Foundation and is an ambassador for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
And he hopes to take his efforts a step further by adopting needy infants and raising them in his Miami Beach, Florida mansion.
He says, “I believe that at some time in the future this house will be full of colored crayons strewn over the floor and the walls will be covered with scribbles. There are a lot of kids out there in need of a home.”
