Arriving at Los Angeles’ LAX airport wearing a hooded black jacket, Rihanna couldn’t hide her dismay when she was told to remove it and was subjected to a full body search.
Looking cold and miserable, the Bajan singer stood still were her arms out as a female security officer wearing gloves frisked her.
With just a black vest underneath her hoodie, the 21-year-old hugged herself to keep warm as she was forced to wait around in the air-conditioned airport.
Instead of her trademark quiff, Rihanna had her caramel blonde crop slicked down with hair pins.
Rihanna was boarding a flight to New York City, where she is scheduled to perform at her Rated R album release show at the Hammerstein Ballroom last night.
This weekend, she will also perform on Saturday Night Live.
Over the next few weeks, Rihanna is expected to jet to Germany and Abu Dhabi – where she will perform on New Year’s Eve.
