How did you get started with your music?
I started doing music in school, just banging on the tables freestyling with the homies. Then I decided to get in the studio, put together songs, and start taking music seriously.
What are you currently working on?
I just dropped a project called “Another Day Another Dolla” with DJ Scream which we pushing in the streets. I am working on a project called “Detoxification”. It’s a project with West Coast bangers. Classic West coast music that’s gonna make a lot a noise. I am also working on my album, piecing it together and trying to get it right.
What kind of music do you listen to and how does it influence your music?
I listen to Pac, Biggie, Jay Z, definitely the oldies. I listen to TI, Nas, Outkast, etc. It doesn’t really influence my music, I respect all those artists and I enjoy good music, but I make my music from my heart and off of my experiences.

What’s your opinion on mainstream music today?
I think Hip-Hop music is suffering because of the quality of the music and quality of the artists. The music doesn’t have any staying power, it’s more trendy, here today gone tomorrow type music being pushed. I think we need to get bacc too good, quality music and artists.
Who do you admire? My favorite artist is Tupac.
Why would people want to listen to your music over someone else’s?
I am real. No gimmick, no puppet, no lies, just music from the heart. People respect real and can relate to me and my music.
Who have you worked with and how have they affected your work?
I have worked with a whole lot of artists. Jeezy, Akon, Rick Ross, Young Buck, etc. Its an honor to work with these artists. I get to see how they create there music and get some tips on recording etc., but at end of the day it’s the same, just making music with those that make good music.

What is your local music scene like?
West Coast got some artists buzzin.
What suggestions do you have for other artists in the music industry?
Be on top of your business and keep haters out your circle.
Where do you see yourself in a year from now?
First Album in stores, my film and TV career poppin off. Get Your Green Up Ent., our company, working with other artists, just progression is all I care about.
