Following a bizarre outburst at the Directors Guild of America awards on Saturday, actress Sean Young has entered rehab. Sean was escorted out of the Hyatt Regency in Century City after heckling Julian Schnabel, who was nominated for The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Julian was slow to start his speech and Sean could then be heard throughout the room telling him to get on with it. He suggested she, “have another cocktail.”

Today, Insignia PR announced, “Actress Sean Young voluntarily admitted herself yesterday to a rehabilitation center for treatment related to alcoholism. It is understood that Young has struggled against the disease for many years.”

Sean was successful in the 1980s with films like Stripes and Blade Runner. However, recently she has only gotten her name in the press for stunts like trying to crash the Vanity Fair Oscar party in 2006 and dressing up in a homemade catsuit to try to get the role of Catwoman in the 1992 film, Batman Returns, which ultimately went to Michelle Pfeiffer.
