Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne are making their recently rumored romance VERY official.

So official, in fact, that they put it in ink: We hear that the lovebirds got matching tattoos over the weekend.

“They showed up to the opening of Mario Barth King Ink and requested the same tats,” says an insider at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. The reality TV star and the rock princess both requested lightning bolts, she on her forearm and he behind his ear.

“They were really excited about it,” says the spy, adding that the two spent the rest of the evening cozied up to each other. “They held hands openly and were kissing in a corner. Brody didn’t leave Avril’s side all night.”

Although they refused to pose together on the red carpet at the posh event, a photographer had indeed snapped the first pic of them smooching outside the Chateau Marmont in L.A. on Friday. Later that night, the duo left for their rather romantic trip to Sin City.

And if the matching tats aren’t proof positive that the former playboy may be turning into a one-gal man, a source says Brody just brought the songstress home to meet mom.

“He introduced Avril to his mother last weekend,” says a West Coast insider, who’s close to the new couple. “He’s really head over heels for her and wanted to let her know how serious he was, so he took her to [his mom] Linda’s home. It went really well.”

And it’s not only Brody’s mama who’s s giving the lovebirds her blessing: Avril’s ex-hubby, Deryck Whibley, has apparently approved of the twosome as well.

“Avril and Deryck are just friends now,” insists the pal, despite recent rumors that the two are still hooking up. “He thinks Brody is a good guy and that it’s great the two of them are doing well.”

While Avril Lavigne was recently spotted with estranged husband Deryck Whibley, she only seems to have eyes for “The Hills” star Brody Jenner.

The two were spotted on a series of dates in LA over the weekend, including dinner at Boa before heading to Drai’s at the W Hollywood and the Chateau Marmont.

A spy said, “They were all over each other. They were laughing and joking and seemed pretty intimate.”

On Sunday, they hit the Red Rock bar on Sunset with Jenner’s mom before heading back to his apartment.

The ‘Sk8er Boi’ singer – who filed for divorce from rocker husband Deryck Whibley last October, a month after they separated – has been enjoying a low-key romance with the 26-year-old reality TV star for several weeks.

A source said: “They’re hooking up but they’re keeping it low-key.”

Despite trying to keep their romance out of the public eye, the couple recently enjoyed a dinner at Los Angeles restaurant Koi before heading to nearby nightspot Voyeur, where they amazed onlookers with their flirty behavior.

Another source told E! Online: “You can tell they’re into each other and both like to have a good time. They’re cute together.”

Since splitting from Deryck – who she was married to for three years – Avril, 25, has been romantically linked with actor Wilmer Valderrama and oil heir Brandon Davis, but pals insisted she was just friends with both men.

Brody was most recently dating Playboy playmate Jayde Nicole, but they split in December.

After revealing she and Deryck were to divorce, Avril insisted the pair would remain friends.

She said: “Deryck and I have been together for six-and-a-half years. We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21. I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship.

“I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know, and I love him with all my heart. Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note.”

Pop Rocker Avril Lavigne Opens Up About Acne

New Proactiv® Platform Allows Popular Singer and Actress To Encourage Young People Based On Personal Experience

Avril Lavigne today said she hopes to reach millions of teens and young women with an important message about acne, summed up as: “Be Proactiv.”

The award-winning singer and actress recently signed with Guthy-Renker to play a prominent role in the launch of new Proactiv® , an improved version of the world’s number-one acne-treatment system.

“I started breaking out when I was 14,” said Lavigne. “It was my first year of high school, which was already intimidating. Going to a new school and meeting new people was hard enough; having to deal with zits on top of that didn’t really make it easier,” she explained.

Avril Lavigne joins one of the longest and most renowned list of celebrities ever to speak out for a skin care product. All Proactiv endorsers started out as customers first.

“After trying everything—from toothpaste to rubbing alcohol, men’s aftershave to tea tree oil—I started using Proactiv. Fortunately, it really worked for me. Today, I still use Proactiv to help keep my skin clear.”

Avril’s story is sure to resonate with young people who are experiencing the same challenges. Acne is a very common skin condition that has been linked to more profound issues in teens including depression, anxiety and social withdrawal. And, it’s not just a passing phase. Acne is chronic and can last in teens up to 7 years and in adults 20 years or more.

Pediatric dermatology studies show that the earlier acne starts, the more likely it is to increase in severity over time. Additionally, the likelihood of permanent physical scarring also increases the longer acne is left untreated.

Some celebrities might not feel comfortable talking about acne, but not Lavigne. “I’m totally cool to talk about Proactiv and acne because I have dealt with it,” she said. “Acne is a drag. It’s not cute. It’s not fun. I think it’s really important to take care of your skin—especially from an early age.”

“I think it’s gutsy for Avril to talk about acne and her Proactiv story, but she wanted to do it, and she wanted to do it in a plain-speaking, matter-of-fact way that is relatable,” said Lenny Lieberman, head of Guthy-Renker Studio, producer of the new ads.

“It’s important to feel good about yourself and when you have good skin, you feel good! I was really lucky to have found Proactiv,” Avril said. “It worked for my skin.”

Avril Lavigne, who at the age of 17 secured eight Grammy nominations and four Juno Awards for her debut album Let Go, will begin appearing in the national Proactiv broadcast campaign this month. In 2008, Lavigne released her third album, The Best Damn Thing, which included the smash hit “Girlfriend,” which shot to #1 on the Billboard Hot 200 and was named the top download of 2007 having been downloaded more than 7.3 million times in 8 different languages.

Lavigne is also the creator of Abbey Dawn, a lifestyle brand which is available exclusively at Kohl’s. The collection blends authentic rock with a feminine edge and will include quality apparel and accessories at a great price. In 2009, Lavigne released her first fragrance called Black Star, created by Proctor & Gamble Prestige Products with her second fragrance to be released in 2010. The fragrance captures Lavigne’s dynamic style and energetic personality, inspiring girls to standout and embrace their individuality. In 2006, Lavigne branched out into acting, appearing in Richard Linklater’s Fast Food Nation and lending her voice to Dreamworks’ animated film Over the Hedge.

Lavigne is currently in the studio working on a new, yet-untitled album for RCA Records. For more information visit www.avrillavigne.com

Court records show Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce from her musician husband after three years of marriage. Lavigne filed for divorce from Sum 41 singer Deryck Jason Whibley on Friday in Los Angeles.

The couple were married in July 2006 and have no children together. Lavigne cited “irreconcilable differences.”

The 25-year-old punk-pop singer burst to fame with her 2002 debut album “Let’s Go.”

Lavigne is asking a ruling to block Whibley from receiving spousal support.

Court records show Whibley was granted a request to add Lavigne’s last name to his name in December 2007.

Avril Lavigne decided she wanted to divorce husband Deryck Whibley after realizing she married too young, according to reports.

The Complicated hitmaker is apparently keen to explore a life without the Sum 41 star.

“She married too young and she finally realized that,” a source told People magazine. “Avril realized she needs her own life and needs to explore things without him.”

The source adds that Avril and Deryck have been having problems for at least six months. The insider also denied reports the marriage collapse is down to Lavigne’s reluctance to have a baby.

“The split is not about Deryck wanting a kid nor is she dating anyone else,” the source said. “There is no romance.”

The couple are no longer living together in their Bel Air home. “Deryck has left the house,” says the source, but “wasn’t kicked out.” Avril said:

“Deryck and I have been together for 6-an-a-half years. We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21,” Avril, 24, wrote on her website Thursday. “I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship.”

“I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him,” Avril added. “He is the most amazing person I know and I love him with all my heart. Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note.”

Avril Lavgne is ditching her husband Deryk Whibley of Sum 41 after three years of marriage, according to Us Weekly:

“She dumped him and told him she was leaving him. She wants to move on,” a source tells the new Us Weekly, adding that Lavigne, 25, forced him out of their $9.5 million, 12,000-square-foot estate in L.A.’s Bel Air. “Divorce papers will be filed any day now.”
Whibley, 29, “is crushed,” adds another insider.

Because I can’t remember the last time Avril Lavigne and/or Sum 41 have been relevant, I’m going to forego the commentary and focus my efforts on something that actually matters.

Things are about to get “Complicated” for Avril Lavigne and hubby Deryck Whibley. Sources close to the couple, who have been married since 2006, say they’re headed for Splitsville.

That seemed apparent when the Canadian songstress was out and about in Southampton last weekend – sans hubby and looking anything but married.

“She wanted to get away from Deryck and have a weekend to herself,” says a source close to the “Sk8er Boi” singer.

A spy at celebrity eatery Georgica indeed saw Lavigne getting away – but hardly spending any time alone. Instead, says the onlooker, she was partying hard and hanging with a number of male admirers. Only later in the evening did Lavigne get paranoid about what the nearby paparazzi may have captured on film. “She kept running up to the photographers and asking to see the pictures they took,” says one partygoer. (We’ve noticed that those photos have mysteriously disappeared from at least one site on which they were posted.)

Lavigne continued her Saturday night at another Hamptons hot spot, Axe Lounge, where she danced the night – and perhaps her rocky marriage – away.

Trouble has been brewing since early this year for Lavigne and Whibley, who haven’t been photographed together since last December – and things have gotten significantly colder between the two since the summer heated up. Whibley attended the L.A.
premiere of “Transformers” solo on June 22, while his missus jetted off to Saint-Tropez for a week with her girlfriends. One vacationer at the celeb-studded Riviera getaway spilled that she was definitely enjoying the paradise and pina coladas, perhaps a little bit too much.

So what does this mean for Lavigne’s upcoming album, which her Sum 41 husband was supposed to be helping her with?

Industry insiders say that although the two have already worked together on a few tracks for the CD, due out Nov. 17, Lavigne will be going ahead with it solo – just like her weekend in the Hamptons.

Reps for both Lavigne and Whibley didn’t respond to calls for comment.
