Bar Refaeli is no stranger to posing with muscly models.

But the Israeli beauty was in for a shock when she met her co-stars on a recent photo shoot for Interview magazine.

As the group were none other than the ‘stars’ of latest MTV reality TV sensation Jersey Shore.

While the men – known as Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Paul ‘DJ Pauly D’ DelVecchio – wore their best designer clothes for the shoot, they couldn’t compare with 24-year-old Bar’s sizzling outfits.

Wearing a series of costumes which left little to the imagination, including a leopard print bikini, a black basque and hotpants and a cutaway swimsuit, Bar, the ex-girlfriend of Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio, sizzled as she posed with the group.

The men have quickly gone from relative unknowns to household names in the U.S., where their TV show has become one of the most popular reality shows of the moment.

But the Jersey boys insist that far from being scared of their sudden fame, they are making the most of their popularity.

The Situation said: ‘Oh, man, it’s just unbelievable. Everywhere I go, there’s just mass amounts of people. There’s people showing up at airports, wanting autographs, girls, it’s insane. It’s like The Beatles, man.

‘I’ve always gotten female attention. Now the only way I can describe it is that it’s like The Beatles. At a club appearance, it’s insane that people are chasing me and fighting bodyguards, and girls are crying and screaming.

‘People are always asking for a picture. I never refuse a picture. I shake hands; I kiss every cheek. I love all my fans. I love every minute. I give everybody a chance.’

While all the boys loved shooting alongside Bar, there was one who felt more of a connection with the stunning model.

Vinny Guadagnino is such a huge fan of Bar’s ex-boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio that he took the opportunity to quiz her about her former relationship.

When asked if Bar told the boys if she had watched their programme, Vinny said: ‘She’s probably watched the show a few times. Didn’t seem too hung up on it.Leo [DiCaprio] is more, actually.

‘He said, “I can tell you’re a good Italian kid, from a good family.” ‘

And Vinny also admitted he wants to follow in DiCaprio’s footsteps when Jersey Shore ends.

He told Interview magazine: ‘I could see myself, not now because he plays crazy roles, but if I ever got to that level, I’d like to play the roles he plays. He handles everything with such poise.

‘He’s very low-key, and I’m the same kind of way. When you see me in a club, you don’t see me going crazy; you see me with a hat and a hood on, laying back. What would Leo do? What would Leo do? I keep reciting that in my head.’

Israeli model Bar Refaeli shows the world just why she was chosen as the face of Passionata’s underwear range in a sizzling new advertising campaign.

The 24-year-old strips off to pose in a series of sexy lingerie in the new Autumn/Winter 2010 collection.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s on/off girlfriend was unveiled as the face and body of the French firm last November.

As the sizzling new shots were unveiled, Refaeli disappointed male fans in Paris yesterday when she turned up to the Passionata photocall… with her clothes on.

Despite being paid a healthy sum to be the face and body of the Passionata underwear range, the leggy blonde is so successful now she left the lingerie modelling to a group of lesser known models.

While being considerably more covered up than the scantily clad models, Refaeli still looked sexy in a figure-hugging little black dress and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

After posing for the cameras in her tight mini, Refaeli was then presented with a bunch of roses by one of the lingerie-clad beauties.

Her lucrative role as the face of Passionata comes after another high-profile modelling job for Garnier hair care.

While Refaeli’s modelling career has been going from strength to strength, she has found herself hitting the headlines again in her native Israel.

Far right Israeli group Lehava have urged Refaeli not to marry her long-term love DiCaprio because he is not Jewish.

Last month, Refaeli denied reports she was engaged to DiCaprio after a four-year on/off relationship.

The engagement rumors were prompted after she was photographed wearing a ring on her wedding finger.

However, she said: ‘No, there wasn’t (a proposal) – let me explain: these rings, which are beautiful and made by a friend of mine, won’t fit any other finger except this one.

‘Yeah, what can I do? I’m 24 and there’s still time. I’m in no hurry. I’m happy with where I am.’

The supermodel, who has been dating the Titanic star on and off since 2005, was forced to deny rumors she was engaged to DiCaprio earlier this month after she was spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger.

She told reporters the couple had no plans to marry – but her comments failed to stop an Israeli politician from warning her to stay away from the actor.

Baruch Marzel’s letter, sent on behalf of the Lehava organization, read: “It is not by chance that you were born Jewish. Your grandmother and her grandmother did not dream that one of their descendants would one day remove the family’s future generations from the Jewish people. Assimilation has forever been one of the enemies of the Jewish people.”

Marzel adds that he “has nothing against Mr DiCaprio, who I have no doubt is a talented actor,” before concluding: “Come to your senses, look forward and back too – and not only the present. Don’t marry Leonardo DiCaprio, don’t harm the future generations.”

The ‘Shutter Island’ actor and the Israeli model recently denied reports they were engaged but his latest co-star believes they are made for each other.

Emily said: “I didn’t know he wasn’t married! I’m sure that he will, yes, and be very happy.”

Leonardo’s good friend, Roberta Armani – niece of the late Giorgio Armani – also believes the pair are good for each other because they are so similar.

She said: “They are very similar. Not only do they look alike, they are both very lively and warm. No pretences at all.”

Leonardo and Bar split last June but rekindled their relationship last November after he took her for a luxury holiday in the Bahamas.

A source said: “They stayed in their own villa. They were shacked up together all weekend.”

Their break-up was believed to have been because Bar – who first started dating Leonardo in 2006 – wanted the romance to be more serious, prompting the ‘Titanic’ actor to call time on their relationship.

With Sunday being Valentine’s Day, it would have been the perfect opportunity to get down on bended knee.

So the question is, has Leonardo DiCaprio proposed to his on-off girlfriend Bar Refaeli?

If the shiny gold ring on her engagement finger is anything to go by, it could the case.

The Israeli model, 24, was spotted with the sparkler as she dined with Leo and his mother at the charity gala dinner at the Berlin International Film Festival today.

Last month the pair were pictured together at a basketball match, setting tongues wagging that they had rekindled their tempestuous relationship.

They split in June 2009, reportedly because 35-year-old Leo was not ready to settle down and move in with her.

But now it appears the actor could be ready to bite the bullet.

German newspaper Bild reported that the Hollywood star proposed to Bar in the Hotel de Rome on Valentine’s Day.

Later that day, the pair shared a romantic evening meal at the city’s Grill Royal restaurant.

On Monday, Leo’s German mother Irmelin, 65, joined her son and Bar at the Cinema for Peace Gala 2010 charity dinner. The event is held every year as part of the film festival, also known as the Berlinale.

DiCaprio dressed for the occasion in a smart tuxedo dinner suit while Bar wore an eggshell silk number.

Bild newspaper also quoted a source saying the actor’s mother had been urging him to make an honest woman of Bar.

The insider told the publication: ‘She previously urged him to marry Gisele Bündchen without success. Now she said to him, “Don’t make the same mistake a second time!”‘

We hear the Israeli beauty – aka Leonardo DiCaprio’s ladylove – looked anything but pleased as she arrived to the mag’s party Tuesday night at the Gansevoort Hotel’s club Provocateur.

“She had a scowl on her face and wouldn’t even look up for photographers who had been waiting for hours in the freezing cold outside,” our spy says.

“She even walked right by fans who were pleading for her to sign her past issues of Sports Illustrated.”

Bar finally gave in – but only after hearing that Decker indeed stopped for admirers.

“Brooklyn had stood in a tiny mini-dress posing with the same fans,” our snitch says. “When Bar tried to walk by, one finally yelled ‘But Brooklyn did it!’ – and that got her attention.

“Bar then turned around, begrudgingly retraced her steps and agreed to do the same. But she still looked pretty miserable throughout the night.”

And perhaps she had good reason: 24-year-old Bar was rumored to be the top pick for this year’s cover over 22-year-old Decker.

“After pictures of Bar’s shoot were leaked on the Internet, a lot of people thought it would be her,” an insider dished of the stunner, who made her SI debut in 2007 and covered the mag in 2009. “Two years in a row would have been a huge accomplishment for her. It makes sense that she would be disappointed.”

And we can’t help wonder if maybe there’s a personal competition, too: Both of the beauties hang with high-profile men – Decker married tennis heartthrob Andy Roddick last April, and Bar has dated Leo on and off since she was 19.

Said a second insider: “They are both very much in the spotlight right now, and the SI cover just nudged Brooklyn a little bit ahead.”

A source says the star recently took the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model to Baker’s Bay, a private resort in the Bahamas. “They stayed in their own villa,” our spy says. “They were shacked up together all weekend.”

Rafaeli and DiCaprio split in June after three years, reportedly because of his fear of commitment. Since then, DiCaprio, who will next star in Martin Scorsese’s “Shutter Island,” has been linked to a bevy of models, while Rafaeli has been spotted partying with Israeli gambling tycoon Teddy Sagi and Brazilian playboy Ricardo Mansur. Rafaeli was not at DiCaprio’s 35th birthday this month with Kate Hudson, Ryan Phillippe and Hayden Panettiere in West Hollywood.

But, according to our source, Rafaeli was devastated after Lindsay Lohan was photographed leaving DiCaprio’s home at 4:30 a.m. DiCaprio’s rep declined to comment and Rafaeli’s rep didn’t get back to us.

Bar Refaeli strikes a seductive pose as she perches on a swing in racy black lingerie, complete with a ruffled skirt and stockings.
In other shots, the Israeli model adopts some flower power in the Sixties-inspired photoshoot, wearing floral accessories in her hair.

The 24-year-old is pictured for lingerie firm Passionata after being announced as the new face and body of the brand.

Earlier in the week Bar ran into trouble, however, after billboard pictures of her wearing only a blanket for a different campaign in Tel Aviv had to be replaced with a more modest photo.

The Fox clothing company on Monday changed two giant billboards following complaints from the fervently Orthodox community.

The billboards had featured the scantily clad Israeli supermodel on a bed with Israeli Survivor star Noam Tor.

Some Orthodox groups had threatened to boycott the popular clothing chain.

Lingerie brand Passionata says their pictures were inspired by Sixties sex symbol Brigitte Bardot and were meant to be ‘sensual’ while putting a ‘modern twist on the Sixties’.

Refaeli was styled as a 1960s-inspired pin-up and photographed by fashion photographer Greg Kadel.

She officially takes up the mantle as the face of the firm from early next year and is seen here modelling the spring collection, which is available from early next year.

The style fits in with the current romantic trend, featuring bows, ribbons, lace and floral prints in flirty, vivid colours.

Her signing to the brand comes as another coup for the model, who has also fronted major beauty campaigns for Garnier and this year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

Bar, who used to be better known for her on/off relationship with Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio, designed her own bikini line and hostedher own bikini line.

In 2010, she will star in an English-language film, Session, directed by Israeli Haim Bouzaglo.

The film is a psychological thriller that tells the story of a manipulative psychologist who becomes obsessed with a new young patient.

Chace Crawford and model Bar Refaeli are reportedly becoming more than just friends.

The “Gossip Girl” star and the Sports Illustrated model were spotted sharing an intimate moment while partying Friday night at New York hotspot 1Oak, JustJared.com reports.

Crawford and Refaeli, both 24, were “dancing on each other, swaying their hips together from side to side” while Jay-Z’s new hit song, “Run This Town,” was playing.

“At one point, Bar reached down and grabbed Chace’s backside. They were very affectionate with each other,” said the snitch. “Bar and Chace have been spending a lot of time together since Bar is town and attending NY Fashion Week events.”

Not a bad move for Crawford, who was most recently caught making out with “Twilight” cutie Ashley Greene in Los Angeles. Refaeli called it quits with Leonardo DiCaprio in June and was most recently linked to multi-millionaire Teddy Sagi.
