Rapper Nicki Minaj has confirmed she is in negotiations to replace Enrique Iglesias and join Britney Spears on her summer tour.

The pop superstar is on the hunt for another big name to share the bill when she hits the road in June after Iglesias pulled out of a co-headlining U.S. trek last week.

Spears has already publicly appealed to have Usher perform onstage with her, while she has also voiced her admiration for Minaj.

The hip-hop star admits she would jump at the opportunity to travel with Spears and she is doing everything she can to make it happen.

Minaj said, “We’re talking. I would love to, but I don’t know yet. I can neither confirm or deny the rumors!”

A brand marketing company that brokered a deal for Britney Spears’ fragrance line sued the singer and her father Wednesday, claiming the pair secured a new deal that stinks to the tune of more than $10 million.

Brand Sense Partners LLC’s lawsuit claims the pair renegotiated a royalties deal with cosmetics company Elizabeth Arden last year that cut them out of their 35 percent commission on the fragrance line.

According to the lawsuit, the company first began working with the singer in 2003 and brokered the perfume deal in 2004.

The lawsuit claims Spears and her father, Jamie, negotiated a new deal last year for the singer’s newest perfume scent called Radiance. The lawsuit states the agreement directly between the singer and cosmetics company directly violates the original deal with Brand Sense.

The marketing company is seeking more than $10 million and punitive damages and is asking a judge to rule that it is entitled to a 35 percent commission on all lines of Spears’ perfumes created by Elizabeth Arden.

Spears’ publicist, Jeff Raymond, did not immediately return an email message seeking comment.

The lawsuit was first reported Wednesday by celebrity website RadarOnline.com.

Jamie Spears controls his daughter’s financial affairs along with an attorney as part of a court-ordered conservatorship established in 2008 after a series of high-profile incidents of erratic behavior and hospitalizations.

The conservatorship has generally granted Spears a form of legal immunity. Although she’s been sued by former bodyguards and an ex-manager, a judge has so-far ruled that she cannot be deposed or ordered to testify.

It has been a rocky week for Spears, who debuted her seventh studio album, “Femme Fatale,” on Tuesday. She also announced a tour with Latin singer Enrique Iglesias, who said later on that he would be performing with the “Hold It Against Me” singer.

She’s been away from the pop scene for over a year so it was no surprise to see Britney Spears throwing herself back into it with gusto.

And as she took to the stage in Las Vegas on Friday night, she declared to her screaming fans: ‘It’s so good to be back.’

The pop star, 29, played a mini gig at the gambling capital’s Palm Casino Resort, her first live performance since the end of her The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour in November 2009.

Britney Spears thrilled fans in Las Vegas on Friday night by playing a surprise show at a Sin City nightclub.

The pop superstar, who is preparing to launch her new album Femme Fatale, took to the stage at Rain Nightclub in the Palms Casino & Resort to showcase a number of tracks from the record.

She confirmed the show just hours beforehand with a post on her Twitter.com page and encouraged fans in the area to come down to watch, writing, “You’re all invited. Be there or be square b**ch!”

Spears performed tracks including her hit Hold It Against Me, 3 and Till The World Ends, as well as a remix of new song Big Fat Bass which included I’m A Slave 4 U and Gimme More.

The show marks Spears’ first live performance since her The Circus tour came to an end in 2009.

Executives in charge of Britney Spears’ latest music video made sure it was free of all temptation – by ordering staff to ensure the star was not exposed to alcohol or drugs.

All performers working with the singer on her latest Till The World Ends clip were required to sign a six-page agreement banning them from exposing sober Spears to alcohol or drugs.

The document, obtained by TMZ.com, reads: “Contractor acknowledges that it is essential that (Britney) not be exposed to any alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances.”

The contract also states that dancers can be subjected to urine testing at any time and dismissed for failing a test or even refusing to take one.

Spears began cleaning up her act in 2009 in a bid to ensure she maintains her shared custody of her two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Kevin Federline, the American dancer and rapper, met up with Britney Spears to watch their son play for Westhills Yankees baseball team in the Little League this weekend, reports US Weekly Magazine.

It is reportedly the second time in two weeks that the pair have reunited to watch 5-year-old ‘Sean Preston’, but this time photographers were on hand to capture the moment. 29-year-old Spears attended the game in Calabasas, California, with her current beau Jason Trawick. Federline, who is one of the coaches on Sean’s team, was joined by his current love Victoria Prince. An onlooker at the game said Britney and Kevin, who are also parents to 4-year-old Jayden, “Kept their distance from one another and didn’t speak”.

After the couple’s divorce in 2007, the court granted Kevin Federline sole legal and physical custody of his and Britney’s children. The pop superstar was given visitation rights that would slowly increase over time. The singer’s highly-anticipated new album ‘Femme Fatale’ is set for release on 29th March 2011.

Pop sensation Britney Spears has done one of her most revealing photo shoots ever, giving a glimpse of the tattoos she has etched on her inner thighs.

In the April issue of Out magazine the Slave 4 U singer shows off her crucifix and star ink designs, not normally seen by her fans.

The mother-of-two looked in fantastic form and wore a black leotard in one of the shots showing her body is still in great shape.

Another of the images shows the 29-year-old wearing a black bra and panties with an oversized blazer thrown over her body.

Britney is releasing her seventh album, Femme Fatale, which she calls her ‘most upbeat and mature album yet’.
After countless chart-topping singles, Britney is proud of all the music she has put out.

When asked if she regrets recording any of her tracks, Britney said: ‘No. all of my songs are f***ing amazing’.
Out magazine’s April issue celebrates its first-ever ‘Ladies We Love’ issue, also debuting the magazine’s first dual cover.

‘The Ladies We Love is dedicated to the women who inspire, scandalise, educate, and excite us. We could think of no one better to honour in the first ‘Ladies We Love’ than gay icon, pop diva, true survivor, and first-time Out cover girl Britney Spears’, the magazine said.

In the email interview, Britney revealed that she first learned about sex when she was a pre-teen.

‘When I was 12 years old. From my mom. I was confused and disgusted’, she said of her first introduction to the birds and the bees.

Britney sat down with Out magazine and talked about everything from plastic surgery to her former Mickey Mouse Club co-star Christina Aguilera.

Of ever going under the knife, Britney said: ‘I’m excited to be out of my 20s. When it’s time to pull and tuck, I’m sure I will consider it’.

Britney said her idea of heaven was, ‘A trip with my kids’. But her idea of hell was: ‘Being on a diet’.

She revealed her biggest phobia is flying because she is ‘not in control’ and added that she would like to be reincarnated as a ‘bird’.

Of her contemporaries, Britney said that Aguilera is ‘truly talented’ and thinks Lady Gaga is ‘unique’.

Although if she could have recorded any song she would have been the one singing Eminem and Rihanna’s Love The Way You Lie.

The Hold It Against me singer was accompanied by her beau Jason Trawick over the weekend to watch her five-year-old son Sean Preston play in a Little League game.

Her ex-husband Kevin Federline was also there with his girlfriend Victoria Price showing that the former couple have a cordial relationship for the sake of their two children.

Her first single from her new album Femme Fatale smashed into the charts at the number one spot.

Her second single Till The World Ends was released early last week after it was leaked onto the internet – and fans can’t seem to get enough of Britney, proving she still has a following.

The star apparently netted half a million dollars from product placements in her new music video for Hold It Against Me.

The four-and-a-half-minute promo clip shows Britney appearing on a Sony television screen, putting on Make Up For Ever eye shadow and logging onto dating website Plentyoffish.com.

Her new album Femme Fatale is set to be released March 29.

But things aren’t all rosy for the singer as reports have surfaced that her former bodyguard is set to release explicit images of Britney.

Fernando Flores, who claims Spears sexually harassed him, is hoping the pictures will add weight to his $9million lawsuit, according to The Sun.

A friend of Flores told the paper: ‘They are really explicit images that will shock and disgust the majority of her fans.’

Britney denies the allegations that she exposed herself and made unwanted advances to her former bodyguard.

The second single from Britney Spears’ upcoming album “Femme Fatale” was posted on the internet on Thursday, and the upbeat dance anthem “Till the World Ends” has some pundits predicting a club hit.

Tracks leaking online has long been a problem for musicians seeking to control the release of their records, although Spears quickly took to Twitter to promote the “formal premiere” of the track on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Friday.

She also announced the full track listing for Femme Fatale, which goes on sale on March 29 and will test the public’s appetite for the latest Spears comeback.

The new album will feature 12 tracks, with four extra songs available on the deluxe edition.

“I think ‘Femme Fatale’ speaks for itself … I wanted to make a fierce dance record where each song makes you want to get up and move,” Spears said.

Early reaction to Till the World Ends, written by fellow popster Ke$ha and produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin, suggests that the 29-year-old’s rollercoaster career is on the up again.

“Like its predecessor ‘Hold It Against Me’, Spears’s main intention with her new single seems to be keeping the dance floor pulsating with sweaty bodies,” wrote Gerrick D. Kennedy on the L.A. Times music blog “Pop & Hiss.”

“And we don’t blame her, as the catchy song does make you want to grab some glow sticks and hit the clubs.”

Music channel MTV opined: “Britney Spears’ new single … sounds poised to be a club smash.”

The electro-pop song’s message is predictably simple, summed up in the refrain: “Keep on dancin’ till the world ends.”

And while critics agree that it could be the work of any number of pop stars, some say Spears, whose torrid personal life has often overshadowed her musical success, has the confidence and “breathy” vocals to pull it off.

The first track from the album, “Hold It Against Me,” debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart in January, breaking digital download records on the way.
