CHARLIZE THERON’S MYSTERY MAN

Charlize Theron reportedly enjoyed a date with a mystery man just weeks after splitting from her partner of nine years.
The Oscar-winning beauty – who is rumored to have called off her relationship with actor Stuart Townsend over the Christmas period – was seen having a meal at Hollywood’s exclusive Chateau Marmont last week with the handsome male and onlookers says they looked more than friends.
One said: “It looked like a date. They had dinner, then left together.”
Over the weekend, it was claimed Charlize had told friends she split from Stuart after a trip to Mexico over the festive period, and had stopped wearing an antique commitment ring he had given her as a sign of his love.
A friend of the couple said: “Stuart is gutted but Charlize said that she realised during the Mexican holiday the relationship was over. They had become more like brother and sister than lovers. It was she who ended it.”
The 34-year-old actress – who is yet to comment on the reports – is now reportedly living in their main home in the Hollywood Hills, while he has moved his belongings into their beach house.
Stuart has previously spoken about how he considered Charlize to be his wife, even though they’d never married.
He said: “I didn’t do a church wedding or anything but we consider ourselves husband and wife. I don’t need a certificate or the state or the church to say otherwise.”

Hollywood’s male population is celebrating more than the Grammys today – gorgeous actress Charlize Theron has reportedly split from long-time beau Stuart Townsend.
After a nine-year romance, Theron has stopped wearing the commitment ring Townsend gave her, London’s Daily Mail reports.
“Stuart gave it to me as a sign of our commitment to each other,” Theron has said in the past. “I never take it off.”
But off it came at the Hope for Haiti telethon last week. The Victorian ring remained absent as Theron celebrated her mother’s birthday at Spago in L.A. Wednesday night.

The news came as a surprise to Hollywood insiders as the couple has been one of the strongest in Tinseltown.
“I didn’t do a church wedding or anything but we consider ourselves husband and wife,” Towensend told People magazine in 2007. “We love each other and we want to spend our lives together.”
Theron, 34, reportedly decided to break up with the Irish actor after they spent the Christmas holidays in Mexico.

“They had become more like brother and sister than lovers,” a friend of the actress’ told the Mail. “It was she who ended it.’
The South African star is set to remain in the couple’s Hollywood Hills home while Townsend has moved into their Malibu beach abode.
The duo met in 2001 on the set of a thriller called “Trapped.”

Charlize Theron should have checked with Nelson Mandela before she auctioned off a meeting with the freedom fighter for charity

Theron, who grew up on a farm near Johannesburg, was hawking a trip to South Africa for the World Cup, and included the Mandela session at the OneXOne gala in San Francisco last week.
When bidding stalled, she offered to kiss the highest bidder, who turned out to be a mystery woman. But Mandela was never consulted. His spokesman told Britain’s Daily Mail, “Even the charities that he created have never auctioned off time with Mr. Mandela.”

Charlize Theron kissed a girl — and it cost the kiss-ee $140,000. The screen siren gave a 20-second snog to a mystery woman onstage at the OneXOne celebrity auction Thursday night in San Francisco.
Theron was annoyed that Jeremy Piven’s prize of a walk-on part in “Entourage” had commanded much higher bids than her trip to her homeland of South Africa for the World Cup.
An event spokeswoman said Theron goosed the bidding by an nouncing “she would kiss a man for seven seconds, or a woman for 20.” The high bid der got her money’s worth — “It seemed like they kissed for a while,” our source said.

Charlize Theron was forced to film a nude scene for “The Burning Plain” at dawn, to avoid the paparazzi

The scene, in Portland, OR, shows the completely naked star smoking a cigarette through an open window in full view of passers-by. Director Guillermo Arriaga said, “We had to shoot the scene at 6 a.m. before any of the photographers were up. It was done in such secrecy that it wasn’t even in the script. Only three people, including myself, knew it was going to happen.”
