Christina Aguilera is considering launching a legal spat with the bosses of a news website after they suggested she had abused her son.

A photo of the singer’s kid Max sporting what looked like a black eye was posted online on Wednesday and MediaTakeOut.com implied Aguilera was responsible for the injury.

Editors published the photo under the headline, ‘Child Abuse???? Christina Aguilera’S SON IS PHOTO’D With A Black Eye!!!’

The claim has upset Aguilera and her attorney, Eric Greenspan, has fired off a letter to MediaTakeOut.com’s bosses, stating, “Christina is a wonderful mother and was not present in the park when Max fell and hurt himself.

“To imply that she had something to do with this incident, without any investigation on your part whatsoever, is reckless and unconscionable.”

According to Tmz.com, Greenspan has threatened to pursue legal action.

The website has removed the reference to child abuse from the story.

Sources close to Aguilera claim little Max was injured when he fell while playing in a park.

Christina Aguilera is lending her voice to a Michael Jackson tribute concert planned for October in Wales.

Organizers of “Michael Forever – The Tribute Concert” announced Thursday that Aguilera would be joined by members of the Jackson family, Cee Lo Green, Leona Lewis and the band Alien Ant Farm, which is known for its cover of Jackson’s song “Smooth Criminal.”

The announcement came after more than two weeks of silence about performers for the Oct. 8 show at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

While the event is endorsed by the singer’s mother and some of his siblings, brothers Randy and Jermaine Jackson have protested its timing. The concert is scheduled during the trial of a doctor charged in Jackson’s death.

The singer’s estate is also not affiliated with the concert.

CHRISTINA AGUILERIA of “The Voice” makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Tuesday, April 26th. Ellen talks with Christina about dating and her performance at the “Super Bowl.”

Christina on her new boyfriend

Ellen: And you have a new boyfriend….

Christina: (laughing) I didn’t know you were going to ask me about that?

Ellen: I’m not asking, I’m just telling you incase you don’t know. You don’t have to respond but you have a new boyfriend.

Christina: There is someone very lovely in my life. Yes.

Ellen: That’s all that matter’s is that you’re happy. It’s hard. Divorce is hard.

Christina: It definitely is hard.

Ellen: You deserve to have fun and date and stuff…

Christina: Absolutely.

Ellen: Don’t you?

Christina: Yes.

Christina on singing the National Anthem

Ellen: I saw you sing (at the Super Bowl)

Christina: That’s right, I did sing at the Super bowl.

Ellen: I saw it and didn’t see anything. Then it was this huge thing…then I felt stupid that maybe I didn’t know the lyrics.

Christina: I had been singing that song my entire life. I was the youngest anthem singer in my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. I sang for the “Steelers” when I was this big (as a child.)

Ellen: How old were you?

Christina: I think 7 or 8 years old. I would sing for them. I think had a moment where I was at the “Super bowl” at 30 years old. I took in the moment a little bit too much. Shoot me for appreciating the moment but here I am at the “Super bowl”…singing for a team and in front of the world. And remembering what it was like to be that young and look where I made it now. And then it was like, oh. That night I knew, I just made myself a Trivial Pursuit question…In 2011 what female singer, ya know, flubbed the lyrics. It’s just insane. But I have a really good laugh about it and you get over things. You get back up again and you just prove to yourself and to everyone you that much stronger.

Christina Aguilera’s boyfriend Matthew Rutler will not face prosecution on a DUI charge after he was found to be within drink-drive limits following his arrest last month.

The pop superstar and her lover were detained by Los Angeles police after cops allegedly spotted their car being driven erratically through West Hollywood.

The singer was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication, but was later released without charge, while Rutler was booked on an allegation of driving under the influence.

Rutler now looks set to escape prosecution after the L.A. County District Attorney rejected the case, according to TMZ.com.

The website reports Rutler’s blood alcohol content at the time of his arrest was determined to be .06, which falls under California’s legal limit to operate a vehicle of .08.

The show has a slight twist — the auditions are based purely on the voice, without seeing the potential contestant perform. Aguilera revealed she was drawn in by the concept. “It’s so easy to judge people on how they look or walk or talk and this one is specifically about the voice.”

Christina also experienced her share of judgment based on her rough start in 2011 with her Super Bowl flub, Grammy stumble, and arrest earlier this month, but the singer says she remains grateful. “All of my experiences in the past year, and everything that’s happened to me, I thank God for it.” She added, “You have to take the good with the bad and you have to take the bad with the good. If you’re in this business, if you’re in the spotlight, you have to be able to take criticism and you have to take the punches along the way.”

The singer’s 3-year-old son, Max, also joined his mother on “The Voice” set. ” He’s got a thing for it. He definitely wanted to come to work with mommy.”

Other coaches include Maroon 5′s Adam Levine, country music artist Blake Sheldon, and Grammy winner Cee Lo Green. Aguilera recalled Cee Lo’s flamboyant Grammy outfit and exclaimed, “Oh my God, Cee Lo is amazing!”

The show’s creator Mark Burnett chimed in and raved about his new panel of coaches on the show. “I am so blessed and so grateful. On a level of capability they’re all very experienced, they’re all stars, and all have a ton of fans.”

“The Voice” premieres on NBC April 26.

Fresh from a stumble at the Grammys and muffing the national anthem at the Super Bowl, singer Christina Aguilera was arrested early Tuesday near the Sunset Strip on suspicion of being drunk in public but will not be prosecuted, authorities said.

Aguilera, 30, was “extremely intoxicated” when a car driven by her boyfriend was stopped at about 2:45 a.m. on Clark Street, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Deputy Bill McSweeney said.

Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said Aguilera “didn’t really understand where she was” but was cooperative.

“She was not belligerent in any way whatsoever,” Whitmore said.

Deputies saw the Mustang “burn rubber” and fishtail onto a street, he said.

The noise could be heard 100 feet away and constituted an “exhibition of speed” that prompted deputies to immediately stop the car, Whitmore said.

They smelled alcohol on the breath of 25-year-old Matthew Rutler, and a field sobriety test found him to have a blood-alcohol level of 0.09 percent, Whitmore said.

In California, a driver is legally under the influence at or above 0.08 percent.

The car was stopped just off the Sunset Strip, not far from such famous nightspots as Whiskey A Go-Go and the Viper Room.

Rutler was arrested on suspicion of DUI and later released on $5,000 bail. Sheriff’s officials didn’t know if Rutler had hired an attorney, and no phone listing for him could be found.

McSweeney said Aguilera appeared too drunk to care for herself and had no driver to take her home. She was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public so she could be held at the West Hollywood sheriff’s station, he said.

Whitmore did not know much the 5-foot-2, 100-pound Aguilera may have been drinking.

She was given a breath test but the results will not be made public because she had no criminal intent and will not be prosecuted, he said. However, the misdemeanor arrest will remain on her record.

Aguilera did not ask to have anyone pick her up during the 30 to 45 minutes that deputies were at the car, Whitmore said.

“She didn’t really understand where she was,” he said. “She said she didn’t drive so she didn’t even know where she lived.”

Whitmore said Aguilera was booked, fingerprinted and put alone in a cell. She was kept there until she was able to pass another sobriety test.

“When she was able to navigate and think on her own … she was released” on $250 bail, he said.

Aguilera was released from the back of the station at about 7:30 a.m., avoiding a cluster of paparazzi out front. She was driven home by an acquaintance who may have been a bodyguard, Whitmore said.

“It ends here,” he said. “She’s home safe and sound so, you know, job accomplished.”

California law allows deputies to detain intoxicated people for their own welfare until they sober up, without having any intention of prosecuting them, McSweeney said.

“You’re sitting in a car drunk. You have every legal right to be there, but when we come across you we say you can’t drive and we’re not going to put you on the sidewalk,” he explained.

Calls to Aguilera’s agent, Tracy Brennan, and her publicist, Nicole Perez, weren’t returned Tuesday.

Aguilera recently split from music marketer Jordan Bratman, the father of her 3-year-old son. She filed for divorce in October, and their split becomes official April 15.

Aguilera lost her footing and briefly went down at the Feb. 13 Grammy Awards during a tribute medley to singer Aretha Franklin. She also made headlines by botching a line while singing the national anthem at the Feb. 6 Super Bowl.

Court records show Christina Aguilera and music executive Jordan Bratman have finalized their divorce.

Most of the details of the couple’s breakup were not filed with the court, but the judgment will not become official until April 15.

Aguilera filed for divorce in October, just days after she and Bratman announced they had separated. It takes six months in California for a divorce to become official.

They have a 3-year-old son and have said he remains their top priority.

Aguilera performed at Sunday’s Grammy Awards in a tribute medley to singer Aretha Franklin, and also sang the national anthem at this year’s Super Bowl. The performances weren’t without glitches – she botched a line in the national anthem and took a spill on the Grammys stage.

On today’s edition of ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ (nationally syndicated, check your local listings) host Wendy Williams offered some assistance to singer Christina Aguilera, who made headlines this week after flubbing the words to the National Anthem during Sunday’s Super Bowl. Williams commented: “ I’m not letting it happen this time, I’m jumping in, Christina is opening the Grammys this Sunday … and she’s doing a tribute to the one and only Aretha Franklin. Well, Christina you better get your act together and you better not miss a word, and to make sure you don’t I’m sending you a lyric sheet – I’ve got the lyrics for ‘Natural Woman’ and ‘Respect’. Miss Franklin is a friend to the show, and I will not see you mess up the words!”

Also during today’s show Black Eyed Peas member Taboo stopped by to talk about his new memoir Fallin’ Up – My Story, and to break some exclusive news to ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ regarding the baby he and his wife are expecting, commenting: “I actually want to make a special announcement on the show because I love you so much. I’ve been tweeting, and lately people have been guessing what the baby’s name is going to be and I just want to say – the name of the baby is Journey Jameson Gomez.”
