David Beckham took to Facebook on Sunday to introduce to the world his new baby daughter, Harper Seven Beckham, the latest addition to his growing brood.

Briton Beckham posted a black-and-white photo showing Harper and her mother, Victoria Beckham, dozing away while doting Dad snapped the shot. He captioned it: “I took this picture of my two girls sleeping.”

In another posted on Victoria’s Twitter account, footballer Beckham, 36, cradles his newborn in his hands and poses with her, nose-to-nose. “Daddy’s little girl,” the mom tweeted.

Harper was born on July 10, to Beckham and former Spice Girl and fashion designer, Victoria. Their new daughter joins brothers, Brooklyn, 12 years-old, Romeo 8 and Cruz 6.

A spokesman for David Beckham says the soccer star’s wife Victoria has given birth to a healthy baby girl.

Simon Oliveira says that the couple are “delighted to announce the birth of their daughter,” who was delivered Sunday morning at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles and weighed in at 7lbs, 10oz.

The Beckhams, who married in 1999 and whose celebrity is entrenched on both sides of the Atlantic, already have three boys: Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5.

Oliveira posted the happy news on Twitter Sunday, adding that the Beckhams’ three sons “are excited to welcome their baby sister to the family.”

Proud father-to-be David Beckham has posted a photo online showing off his wife Victoria’s bulging baby bump, gushing about how “amazing” she looks days before their daughter’s birth.

The soccer superstar and the former Spice Girl are due to welcome their fourth child later this month, and Beckham can’t contain his excitement as the birth draws closer – he took a picture of Victoria sunbathing and published the image on his Facebook.com page.

The black and white photo shows the singer-turned-fashion-designer lying on her back with her top pulled up, showing her belly in full glory.

He writes, “Took this pic of Victoria while she wasn’t looking. She looks amazing, so close now to the baby being born!”

The soccer star estimated he has around “30 or 31″ pieces of body art and plans to have further inkings in the future – and wouldn’t rule out having one in an intimate area.

TV talk show host Craig Ferguson asked: “Did you get any on your business?”

To which David replied: “Not yet. I was thinking about it [just then].”

What Craig jokingly suggested they could “go together” to get tattoos on their penises, the British hunk agreed, saying “sounds great” but admitted he would need to think of a design first.

If David, 36, does go ahead with the intimate inking, his wife Victoria – who is pregnant with their fourth child – is not likely to be pleased.

He said: “Every time I have a tattoo she’s like, ‘Not another one.’ ”

David also said he’d let his boys – Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz – get tattoos when they are old enough -but not his daughter, due to be born in six weeks.

He added: “I’m not sure I would let her get tattoos but the boys I couldn’t really argue with. I love mine personally, but I’m not sure they’re going to look great when I’m 75.”

The sportsman also told how it was “amazing” to meet Barack Obama at a dinner in London during his visit last week, and that he was shocked when at the same event, Queen Elizabeth asked him about his personal life.

David – who was a guest at Prince William’s recent nuptials to the Duchess of Cambridge – said: “Funnily enough she knew I was having a baby in six weeks. It shocked me that she knew. I love the queen.”

Authorities say David Beckham was behind the wheel of a car that rear-ended another vehicle on a Southern California freeway.

The California Highway Patrol said Saturday the soccer great was not hurt in Friday morning’s crash, but the other car’s driver was hospitalized after complaining of neck pain.

The patrol says Beckham’s Cadillac struck a Mitsubishi stalled in the carpool lane of the 405 Freeway in Torrance.

The other driver, a 40-year-old Los Angeles man, was taken to a hospital as a precautionary measure. His name was not released.

Beckham was not cited.

The 35-year-old Beckham joined Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy in 2007. Before that, he played in Europe for Manchester United and Real Madrid and was captain of England’s national team from 2000 to 2006.

Thursday night, Major League Soccer Player David Beckham stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where he and the ABC late-night host talked about life in Los Angeles and the anticipation of the daughter he and wife Victoria are expecting. Make sure to check out the Bieber-themed names their sons would prefer for the newest member of the family, and watch as Beckham talks about his family camping adventure with pal Gordon Ramsey.

A federal judge on Monday dismissed David Beckham’s libel and slander lawsuit against In Touch magazine over a story that claimed he cheated on his wife with a prostitute.

Beckham’s attorney, Richard B. Kendall, vowed to appeal the ruling and disprove the celebrity tabloid’s claims about the international soccer star, who is married to a former Spice Girl.

U.S. District Judge Manuel Real said in his ruling that Beckham is a public figure and his attorneys hadn’t shown any evidence In Touch published the story with malice. He also said that allegations of any infidelity by Beckham would be of interest to the public.

Elizabeth McNamara, who represented In Touch’s owner Bauer Publishing Co., said the magazine did everything possible to corroborate details from the prostitute’s on-the-record interview. She told Real that the woman’s account was “entirely consistent with Mr. Beckham’s reputation as a serial philanderer.”

The magazine has not retracted the story.

Beckham sued In Touch in September and was seeking $25 million. The Los Angeles Galaxy star argued in a court filing in January that he was visiting his ailing father in London during one of the alleged trysts with the purported call girl Irma Nici.

Kendall said a basic investigation by the magazine would have shown that Beckham was elsewhere when the alleged trysts occurred. He asked the judge to allow the case to proceed so that he could conduct depositions that would bolster Beckham’s case, but Real refused.

“We were left with two hands tied behind our back for the purposes of this motion,” Kendall said after the hearing.

He said In Touch had taken specific steps to block its story from being seen in Beckham’s native England, where Kendall said libel laws would have resulted in a quicker resolution to the case in the soccer star’s favor.

“Obviously, we’re pleased,” McNamara said after the hearing. “We think the court followed the law and did the correct thing.”

Beckham and his wife, Victoria, said last month they are expecting their fourth child this summer.

David Beckham has further distanced himself from accusations he slept with prostitute Irma Nici in 2007, insisting he was at his sick father’s bedside on one occasion she alleges to have been with the soccer ace.

Nici hit headlines around the world last year when she sensationally claimed Beckham had paid for her services twice in 2007.

The sportsman slammed the allegations and immediately launched a $25 million lawsuit against her and In Touch magazine, which published the story. Nici’s lawyer filed a countersuit against Beckham, accusing him of ignoring America’s strict freedom of speech laws.

Beckham, who insisted he had never even met Nici, has now filed a new legal document, revealing his whereabouts on the occasions she alleged to have bedded the superstar.

The sports hunk claims to have been having a therapeutic massage in a New York hotel when he is said to have first hired Nici in August 2007.

And when the prostitute claims to have slept with Beckham at top London hotel Claridge’s the following month, the star alleges he was tending to his sick father Ted in hospital, following a heart attack.

In court papers obtained by Britain’s News of the World tabloid, which are signed by the star and dated January 14, 2011, Beckham states, “This trip is quite memorable to me because of my father’s very serious health situation. Although it is well-known that I frequently stay at Claridge’s while in London, I did not stay or otherwise set foot inside Claridge’s during this trip.”

He also dismisses claims he phoned Nici from New York in October, 2007, in a bid to arrange a meeting – insisting, “I have reviewed my travel itinerary and I was never in New York for October 2007.”

David Beckham and wife Victoria are expecting their fourth child later this year, the former England captain posted Sunday on his Facebook account.

“I’ve got some great news to tell you all,” Beckham wrote. “Victoria and I are expecting our fourth child this summer. The boys are very excited about the arrival of a new brother or sister.”

The pair, who married in 1999 and whose celebrity is entrenched on both sides of the Atlantic, already have three boys: Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5.

David Beckham has played 115 matches for England – a national record for an outfield player – and captained the team from 2000 to 2006. He played for Manchester United and Real Madrid before joining Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy in 2007.

The 35-year-old Beckham wants to play on loan in Europe in the hope of being recalled to the England team by manager Fabio Capello after having been dropped from the squad in August.

Beckham has previously spent two loan spells at AC Milan, the last of which in 2010 resulted in a five-month injury break after tearing his Achilles’ tendon, causing him to miss the World Cup and the MLS season.

Victoria Beckham, 36, found fame as a singer for 1990s girl band the Spice Girls and has since become a fixture of the fashion circuit.

The pair have parlayed their fame into lucrative sponsorship deals, clothing lines, and – for Victoria – a guest spot on “American Idol.”
