David Hasselhoff has been beached by the A&E Network.
The cable channel said Friday it has yanked the former “Baywatch” star’s reality show off the air after only two episodes. Eight completed episodes will remain unaired.
“The Hasselhoffs” featured the actor and his two daughters, who are aspiring to get into show biz. The Nielsen Co. says the first episode was seen by 718,000 viewers, and the audience sank to 505,000 the second week.
That means more than half the people who watched the show preceding “The Hasselhoffs” on A&E’s Sunday schedule, “Gene Simmons’ Family Jewels,” turned the TV off or changed channels when Hasselhoff appeared. The Kiss musician’s show had an audience of 1.4 million.
The Hoff is back! This time the backdrop is not the beach, or the inside of a talking car. This time he is playing the role of Mr. Mom raising and helping to guide the careers of his two entertainment driven daughters.
The A&E original real life series THE HASSELHOFFS spotlights the life of single dad David Hasselhoff and his two daughters Taylor-Ann, 20, and Hayley, 18 and premieres Sunday, December 5 at 10/9c on A&E. The ten-episode half-hour series brings viewers inside the household of David Hasselhoff where “The Hoff” is just “Dad” and examines the challenges he faces as a single parent raising two young-adult daughters. Despite juggling his multiple entertainment and business endeavors, he is the ultimate “stage dad” and will do anything to help guide his daughters’ decisions as they pursue careers in entertainment and manage their up-and-coming group “Bella Vida.”

Four years after his acrimonious divorce from ex-wife Pamela Bach, it looks like David Hasselhoff has found love again.
The former Baywatch star enjoyed a lovey-dovey clinch with new girlfriend, British socialite Anouska De Georgiou.
Enjoying a breakfast near the Los Angeles marina on Sunday, the 30-year-old blonde wrapped her legs around the actor, 57, as they enjoyed a passionate kiss.
After discussing a potential jetski ride, Hasselhoff and his new companion decided the weather was too cold and headed back to his car together.
Sources close to the father-of-two say he has been quietly dating the singer/actress for five months.

De Georgiou is the daughter of former débutante Barbara and a millionaire financier Anthony, and has lived in Los Angeles for six years.
After being educated at Marlborough College, De Georgiou turned down a place to study law at Oxford to concentrate on modelling.
She initially found fame as a model, starring in campaigns for Guy Laroche and Pussy Glamore lingerie.
After a bit part alongside Jude Law in Alfie, De Georgiou starred in Channel 4 reality TV show California Dreaming, about a group of five British ‘bright young things’ trying to find fame in Hollywood
Hosted by Vernon Kay, the show saw De Georgiou, former Hollyoaks actress Jodi Albert and TV presenter Giles Vickers-Jones spending seven weeks sharing a Hollywood Hills mansion while being groomed by a acting guru Bernard Hiller.
De Georgiou dated millionaire Robert Hanson on and off for several years in the early Noughties and has also been romantically linked to Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall, pop star Lee Ryan, American actor Jared Leto and Prison Break star Amaury Nolasco.
Although Hasselhoff has been photographed on dates with several ladies since his high-profile split from Bach, he is yet to have had a long-term relationship.
The actor and Bach announced their split in January 2006 and embarked on messy legal battle over their two daughters.
In 2007, Hasselhoff was awarded primacy custody of Taylor Ann, 20, and Hayley Amber, 17.
Hasselhoff stayed away from the dating scene following his difficult split from Bach to focus on bringing up their two teenage daughters.
Last year, his DJ friend Scott Mills revealed the actor was ‘lonely’ and was searching for ‘the one’.

Mills said: ‘He’s been divorced for three or four years now, and needs and wants to find himself a lady.
‘He’s looking for love again. He’s better when he’s with someone and he knows that. He lives for his girls but he’s a little bit lonely sometimes and needs to find The One.’
Last week, court documents showed Hasselhoff had paid Bach $325,000 in cash in exchange for severing her ties over the couple’s $3.25million family home in Los Angeles.

Pamela Bach turned herself into police on Thursday and has now started early a 90-day sentence for driving under the influence (DUI).
The charge stems from two 2009 incidents when the 46 year old was arrested for drunk driving and as the second offence, which occurred in November, violated the terms of her parole, her sentence was increased from 30 to 90 days.
In addition, Pamela will be made to enrol in an 18-month licensed alcohol and drug education counselling course and complete a Multiple Offender Drinking Driver Program, which lasts for 21 days.
In addition, her driver’s licence has been suspended for two years and when she is released from prison, she must wear a SCRAM monitoring device for six months – an ankle bracelet which will measure the amount of alcohol in her system at any given time.

‘Baywatch’ actor David – who has two children, Taylor Ann, 19, and Hayley Amber, 17, with his ex-wife – claimed in court after their divorce in 2006 that Pamela was suffering from drug problems and eventually won custody of their daughters.
David has also suffered from his own problems with alcohol and entered rehab numerous times.
In 2007, David’s daughters filmed while drunk and posted it on the internet in a bid to shock him into getting help for his alcoholism.
He later released a statement saying: “Because of my honest and positive relationship with my daughters who were concerned for my wellbeing there was a tape made that night to show me what I was like. I have seen the tape. I have learned from it and I am back on my game. I thank God for the love and concern from my daughters.”
David Hasselhoff has quit hit America’s Got Talent to concentrate on his own program

The former Baywatch and Knight Rider star will not appear on the show, alongside fellow judges Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan, this summer.
Announcing his decision in a statement on Wednesday, Hasselhoff said, “I am proud that I was part of making America’s Got Talent the number one rated show for the past four summers.
“It’s been a rewarding experience and now I’m thrilled to be able to follow my dream to do my own TV show, which will be announced very shortly.”
Show producers are seeking a replacement, but no candidates have been selected at this point.

David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol said Sunday that Pamela Bach was pulled over Saturday night just south of U.S. 101 on Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
The CHP alleges Bach showed blood alcohol levels of .14 and .13 on a breathalyzer test. California’s legal limit is .08.
Bach was booked at the LAPD’s Van Nuys jail and released. She is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 24.
Bach was charged with misdemeanor hit-and-run in 2007, but the charges were dropped when she agreed to pay minor damages to the woman whose car she hit.
She was married to Hasselhoff for 16 years until he filed for divorce in 2006. She appeared as a cafe owner in several episodes of Hasselhoff’s series “Baywatch.”

David Hasselhoff was reportedly rushed to the hospital from his Los Angeles-area home Friday after suffering a seizure, according to RadarOnline.com.
The former “Baywatch” star was taken to Cedars-Sinai medical center after daughter Hayley called 911, a source told the Web site.
“Paramedics were called to the (address omitted) in Encino for medical aid,” Los Angeles City Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said. “Paramedics arrived at approximately 11:51 a.m. and later transported the patient a nearby hospital.”
It wasn’t immediately clear if alcohol consumption caused the incident. Hasselhoff has publicly struggled with alcoholism, and had been drinking “both before and after Thanksgiving,” according to RadarOnline.
Hasselhoff was hospitalized in late September due to alcohol poisoning after taping a season of “America’s Got Talent,” on which he is a judge. In November he appeared drunk while serving as a presenter during the MTV Europe Music Awards.
