The actress confirmed she and Ashton were splitting on Thursday – shortly after it was alleged he had cheated on her with another woman – and she is said to be planning to claim part of his personal fortune, even though they signed a prenuptial agreement before their 2005 wedding.

At the time of their wedding Demi, 49, was said to have assets of $150 million, and a further $75 million from her divorce settlement with second husband Bruce Willis. Ashton, 33, was at the beginning of his career, and not personally wealthy, though he is now thought to command around $600,000 an episode for starring in ‘Two and Half Men’ and earn up to £4 million a year from various investments.

A source close to Demi said: “With a pre-nuptial agreement, Ashton should be sitting pretty.

“These agreements are designed to protect one’s earnings during the marriage as well as one’s pre-nuptial assets.
“But Demi is furious, raging in fact â?? you only have to look at every photo you see of her to see the toll Ashton’s cheating has taken on her.

“She wants to punish him financially because of the way he has broken her heart. She is talking about going after a share of what he has earned since their marriage on the grounds that she contributed to much of what he has achieved.

“She is going to give him a bitter fight and, whether or not she wins, it will be an expensive lesson for him.”
Demi and Ashton’s marriage was rocked when 23-year-old Sara Leal claimed the actor had sex with her at a San Diego hotel room in September. The couple are thought to have tried therapy sessions in an attempt to save their marriage, but Demi finally decided she couldn’t forgive Ashton.

The source added: “She was a wreck. She believes strongly in marriage and she really didn’t want to spend her middle years alone. But in the end, she just couldn’t see any way of making things work.”

Demi Moore is ending her marriage to fellow actor Ashton Kutcher, she told The Associated Press on Thursday. Moore, 49, and Kutcher, 33, were wed in September 2005.

The couple’s relationship became tabloid fodder in recent months as rumors swirled about Kutcher’s alleged infidelity.

“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation,” she said in her statement to the AP.

The pair frequently used Twitter to communicate with each other as millions of fans followed along.

“I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi,” Kutcher tweeted Thursday. “Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail.”

Moore said in 2007 that her relationship with the star of “That `70s Show” and “Punk’d” – who is 15 years younger than Moore – “caught us both by surprise.”

“If somebody would have said, `OK, here is the prediction: You’re going to meet a man 25 years old and he’s going to see being with you and having your three kids as a bonus,’ I would have said, `Keep dreaming,’” Moore said in a 2007 interview with Vanity Fair. “I think it caught us both by surprise, and particularly him.”

Kutcher became a stepfather to Moore’s three daughters – Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Belle – from her 13-year marriage to actor Bruce Willis. Moore and Willis divorced in 2000 but remained friendly. Moore and Kutcher were photographed socializing with Willis, and the couple attended Willis’ wedding to model-actress Emma Heming in 2009.

Moore and Kutcher created the DNA Foundation, also known as the Demi and Ashton Foundation, in 2010 to combat the organized sexual exploitation of girls around the globe. They later lent their support to the United Nations’ efforts to fight human trafficking, a scourge the international organization estimates affects about 2.5 million people worldwide.

Moore can be seen on screen in the recent films “Margin Call” and “Another Happy Day.” Kutcher replaced Charlie Sheen on TV’s “Two and a Half Men” as is part of the ensemble film “New Year’s Eve,” set for release next month.

Kutcher’s publicist did not immediately respond to an e-mail and phone call seeking comment. No divorce papers had been filed in Los Angeles Superior Court as of Thursday afternoon.

Ashton Kutcher is being asked to pay a six-figure sum to a blonde who claims she had sex with him on the same day he and wife Demi Moore celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary.

Sara Leal, 23, is preparing to tell the story of how she hooked up with “Two and a Half Men” star Kutcher, 33, at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego last Friday, following a boozy night with his guy friends, according to a report on thedirty.com.

Now Leal has met with Beverly Hills lawyer Keith Davidson, who represented former Betty Ford worker Dawn Holland after she complained Lindsay Lohan attacked her. Holland dropped her claim after settling with Lohan’s camp, reportedly for $25,000.

A source said, “Sara is talking to multiple media outlets for a deal. She wants $250,000, but the offers haven’t been as high. What she really wants is to get a payoff from Ashton. She has reached out to Ashton’s team.”

Whether Kutcher, 33, can rescue things with Moore, 48, is not known. The pair spent their anniversary on Sept. 24 apart and — both prolific tweeters — have remained silent.

Kutcher’s lawyer Marty Singer, and a manager who reps both stars, refused to comment.

Kutcher was in San Diego and partied with actor Danny Masterson at Fluxx nightclub on Friday, where Leal is alleging he had sex with her at his hotel, according to thedirty.com.

Moore, at a New York event on Monday, appeared thin and gaunt and refused to do interviews. She and Kutcher were last pictured together on her Twitter feed in July. But recently Moore’s posts have been darker. On Sept. 23, she quoted a Greek philosopher, writing, “When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger.” On Monday she posted a picture of her face with her eyes closed, and the words, “I see through you.”

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ daughter Tallulah is in trouble with the law after police caught her and two underaged friends carrying alcohol.

The 17 year old and her pals were caught red handed as they stepped out of a vehicle in Hollywood on Friday night.

The three girls were booked for underage possession.

Moore had to pick her daughter up from the police station, according to TMZ.com.

With Kutcher wearing a full pig’s head mask and kabbalah-practicing Moore wearing pig ears, they rolled into Meatpacking District club SL at about 2 a.m. Sunday morning and hit the dance floor.

Ashton kept the mask on, said one observer, “assumedly so no one bothered him while he danced — not that he didn’t draw enough attention by wearing a pink, oversized stuffed mask.” The couple and Moore’s daughter, Rumer Willis, also went over to Avenue, and sat near Kings of Leon rocker Jared Followill.

And while newly single Ashley Greene maintains she’s “just friends” with Followill, she came alone to Avenue at 3 a.m. to meet up with him. The pair were “very affectionate,” said a witness.

The 48-year-old actress kept embracing Colin Owens on the set of her 32-year-old spouse’s new movie ‘No Strings Attached’ because they looked so alike from behind.

Colin – who also worked alongside Natalie Portman in the romantic comedy – said: “More than once on the set Demi has come up behind me and you know, hugged me thinking I was Ashton because we were dressed the same.”

However, Colin revealed Demi always realised her mistake and never tried to kiss him, and insisted he would never have reciprocated her gestures.

Asked by website HollywoodLife if he was tempted to make a move back, Colin added: “No! She’s a great woman. She’s a friend . so, no.”

Ashton, meanwhile – who wed Demi in 2005 – admits their marriage works because they are both actors.

Asked if his wife ever got jealous over his sex scenes with Natalie, he said: “No, the beauty of my relationship is that we are both actors so we both understand what we have to do at work and what that entails so it’s a good thing being married to an actress!”

The handsome star recently admitted he is always working hard at his marriage – and likes to use social networking websites to send affectionate messages to his spouse.

He said: “Sending sweet nothings on twitter or Facebook is fun. In some ways, it’s no different than sending flowers to the office: You are declaring your love for everyone to see. Who doesn’t like to be publicly adored?”

Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have committed to tackle the tough Master Cleanse diet once a year – to get their bodies prepared for a potential food shortage.

Actor Kutcher fears the end of the world is near and he is doing what he can to make sure he and his wife survive on as little as possible.

So the couple has chosen to exist on nothing but water, maple syrup, cayenne pepper and lemon juice for 10 days once a year.

The Killers star tells Men’s Fitness magazine, “If the s**t hits the fan, I like knowing I could live off water and syrup for a couple of weeks.”

Moore and Kutcher kicked off their first Master Cleanse earlier this year – and tweeted about how tough it was.

The actor wrote, “hrs into the master cleanse. I want a steak, a beer, and a blow-pop. Hmmm this is gonna be rough.”

Moore, who insisted she was on the cleanse for “health reasons”, added, “2nd day better than the 1st! (I’ll) let you know if I make it to day 4.”

The couple completed the Master Cleanse challenge.

A legal battle between actress Demi Moore and an Australian magazine over photos it published of a private post-Oscars party thrown by the star has been settled out of court.

Moore sued Pacific Magazines, the publisher of New Idea, for printing pictures taken at a 2008 party that show herself, her daughter Rumer Willis, and other stars.

Moore lodged a claim in 2008 stating she made an agreement with an event organizer that gave her copyright of the photos. She sought unspecified damages.

A trial was to start in Melbourne Federal Court on Monday, but the judge said the parties had reached a settlement. The terms were not disclosed.

Moore was not in court Monday.
