One source said, “They’re hoping to fix up a meeting with Serena when he plays Radio City later this month.”
Williams, who split with actor/rapper Common in May, might be just what Drake wants. “I love older women . . . I love experience and maturity and the conversation,” he told a radio station this week. “I like to learn from an individual, like, when we converse, I like to really be able to soak it all in, the knowledge, the wisdom, all that.” Williams’ rep didn’t get back to the press.

Drake was left silent during a concert in Los Angeles on Tuesday night after the sound cut out mid-show.
The hip-hop newcomer was performing at Bao Steakhouse in L.A. as part of a promotional event, with a star-studded audience including Jamie Foxx, Zoe Saldana and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
But Drake’s rapping fell quiet half-way through his set when a technical problem affected the sound and halted the show, according to the New York Daily News.
The newspaper reports hip-hop fan Foxx went over to the sound booth to talk to the engineer in charge. A source claims the singer/actor “went nuts on the guy working in the sound booth”.
The botched gig comes just a week after Drake was forced to cancel a show in New York due to over-crowding.

Drake — whose late arrival helped spark a riot at a South Street Seaport concert last week — was spotted chatting up the petite MTV star backstage at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto.
A spy said, “He was flirting with Snooki and trying to get her to come to his after- party. He was holding her hand the whole time.”
Snooki was later seen turning up at his bash, only to be turned away by security. The source added, “Drake found out about it a lot later and was really mad that Snooki didn’t get in.”

Hip-hop star Drake is turning videogame action hero – the rapper is lending his voice to the highly-anticipated Gears of War sequel.
The Best I Ever Had hitmaker caught the attention of producers at Epic Games after the release of his 2009 EP “So Far Gone” and they immediately approached him to pitch the role of soldier Jace Stratton in Gears of War 3.
Rod Fergusson, Epic’s Executive Producer, says, “When we began casting for the role, So Far Gone had just (been) released, and Drake’s combination of heart and grit was just what we were looking for. Rather than search for somebody who sounded like him, it was clear that we should approach him directly… fortunately he turned out to be a huge fan.”
And Drake jumped at the chance to be a part of the blockbuster franchise.
He says, “When Epic came to me with the role, I couldn’t pass it up. They’ve created an amazing character in Jace and I’m looking forward to my tour in Delta Squad.”
The final installment of the hit videogame series is due for release next year.

Rapper Drake has opened up about his short-lived fling with Rihanna, accusing the Umbrella singer of using him like “a pawn”.
The pair sparked rumors of a romance last year after they were spotted enjoying a night out in New York together following Rihanna’s split from Chris Brown.
Drake – real name Aubrey Graham – reveals the relationship began when the Bajan beauty asked him to write a song for her, although they never publicly confirmed they were dating.
But Drake now admits the singer left him heartbroken.
He tells the New York Times, “I was a pawn. You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, ‘Wow, this feels terrible.’”
