The model-and-actress’ feathered friend – a Blue Fronted Amazonian breed that can mimic sounds and speech – has learnt how to copy her whistle and takes delight in doing it when the three Labradors and the Spaniel are trying to take their naps.

She wrote on her twitter page: “Naughty Ping Pong is driving the dogs demented by doing our special ‘Doggies come here’ whistle every time they lie down for a snooze…”

And Ping Pong has learnt another new trick – she can now copy her owner’s laugh.

In another tweet, Elizabeth said: “She also imitates my horrible laugh.”

The parrot’s vocabulary is increasing all the time.

The 45-year-old beauty recently revealed her bird-brained pal can say “hello darling”, “hello little girl” “shut up” and “hello mama”.

Elizabeth – who is dating Australian cricket legend Shane Warne – has often spoken about how much she loves her pooches, and she even lets them sleep in her bed.

The ‘Austin Powers’ star – who lives on a farm in Gloucestershire, South West England, with her eight-year-old son Damian – said: “The first thing I do when I wake up is kiss my dogs. All of whom sleep on top of me. Living in the country means I try to walk or run with the dogs every day.”

Stars including Elizabeth Hurley and Lily Allen could face an official investigation in Britain over allegations they were paid to plug brands on Twitter.com.

Britain’s Office of Fair Trading (OFT) is cracking down on the popular microblogging site’s high-profile users who advertise products without stating their association with the company.

A statement from the OFT says users who don’t disclose endorsement deals are “deceptive”, adding: “This includes comments about services and products on blogs and microblogs such as Twitter.”

Hurley has served as an Estee Lauder spokesperson for 17 years and has gushed about the cosmetics line in posts on her Twitter page, while Allen has made reference to Grey Goose vodka and PlayStation.

A spokesperson for the British singer insists, “We wouldn’t comment on whether it was part of a deal. It’s nobody’s business.”

The 45-year-old model – who confirmed she had separated from husband Arun Nayar “months ago” after it was revealed she had been romancing Australian former cricketer Shane Warne – insists much of what has been speculated about her future is untrue.

She tweeted: “Bored now of silly speculations: no one is divorcing anyone yet, no one is fighting over money and I have no plans to go to Australia. Enough!”

Despite her recent troubles, Elizabeth was able to put her unhappiness behind her yesterday by visiting Winter Wonderland at London’s Hyde Park with her son Damian, eight, from her relationship with Steve Bing.

Shortly after she had left her house, textiles tycoon Arun, 45, visited the property, avoiding an awkward meeting.
It was reported earlier this week that his family were shocked at Elizabeth kissing Shane and were “glad” the couple split three years after they married.

A source said: “Liz never mentioned she was seeing anybody when she met her in-laws in October. The family is actually glad they have separated.”

Elizabeth has also tweeted to praise Arun for being a “great father” to Damian.

She tweeted: “Painful, sad days. Arun & I separated for private reasons but FTR (for the record) he has been a great father to our son Damian & will always be in his life.”

Shane announced earlier this week he had separated from his wife, Simone, mother of his three children.

Elizabeth Hurley didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement with estranged spouse Arun Arun Nayar.

The British actress-and-model – who announced on Sunday she had split from the Indian textile heir “months ago” – did not put a legally-binding agreement in place to protect her $13 million fortune prior to the couple’s two lavish wedding ceremonies in 2007.

A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: “A prenup would have been a deal-breaker for Arun. He has his pride.”

The 45-year-old star’s personal assets include a $4.3 million farmhouse in Gloucestershire, South-West England, as well as a $2.5 million townhouse in London’s exclusive Chelsea district, which she still co-owns with her ex-boyfriend Hugh Grant.

Despite Arun coming from a wealthy Indian family, it is believed he has no assets in the UK.

Though the couple had no prenuptial agreement, it is not expected that Elizabeth will have to hand over a large portion of her fortune.

London-based divorce lawyer Ayesha Vardag – who is not connected to the case – said: “He would be very unlikely to get half Miss Hurley’s fortune because her assets were mainly acquired before their marriage.”

The couple’s split comes after pictures emerged of Elizabeth kissing former Australian cricket star Shane Warne, whom she allegedly enjoyed two nights with in a London hotel.

While Shane is divorced from ex-wife Simone Callahan, the pair were said to be heading towards a reconciliation prior to the revelations, though he has since insisted he has not been romantically involved with his former spouse for some time.

He wrote on his website: “Sadly and unfortunately, Simone and I split up a while ago, our close friends and family were informed at that time. It is a private matter so we did not make it public. We remain friends and will continue to be good parents.”

The British actress-and-model – who announced yesterday she had split from her husband of over three years Arun Nayar “months ago” following revelations she had been seen kissing the retired sportsman – has become “very close” to the 41-year-old former bowler following her separation but is concerned about the distance between them as they live in Australia and Britain respectively.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Shane has been a real support through the tough time she’s had splitting with Arun. They have grown very close and there is an intimate bond between them. The only thing standing in their way is geography.”

Now the break-up has been made public, Arun is said to be “embarrassed” by the revelations because of how people will receive the news in his native India.

A pal told The Sun newspaper: “He’s hugely embarrassed and upset. This will be devastating for him. The family had no idea their relationship was over.

“It’s very shameful in India and the family will all be deeply shocked this has come to light. Arun is very upset by the whole thing and feels let down.”

Elizabeth, 45, and Shane’s flirtations have been going on for some time, and the pair have exchanged a number of messages on social networking site twitter for all of their fans to see.

Writing on November 28, she indicated she may come to Australia soon.

She said: “IF I get to come to Sydney for Breast Cancer Awareness I’ll def do your show & do a botox/mascara check…”

She also responded to a message about Shane enjoying a theme park ride, saying: “Oooooh, I love scary rides-remember to scream if u want to go faster!”

The actress-and-model revealed on Sunday she and the Indian businessman had ended their marriage “months ago” following revelations in the News of the Word newspaper that she had been having a fling with Australian cricket legend Shane Warne and had spent time with him in a London hotel earlier in the week.

She wrote on her twitter page: “Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this.”

According to the News of the World, Warne invited Hurley to stay with him while he was in London filming interviews for his TV talk show ‘Warnie’.

The retired cricketer arrived on Wednesday and he was seen dining with the brunette beauty and her ex-fiance Hugh Grant at the Sake No Hana Japanese restaurant that evening.

After dinner, the 45-year-old star went back to the 41-year-old former sportsman’s luxury suite at The Bentley Hotel to spend night and she reportedly spent the next evening in his room as well.

Hurley – who has an eight-year-old son Damian from a previous relationship -started dating Nayar in late 2002 and the pair married in March 2007 at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, before having a second ceremony, a traditional Hindu service, at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, in India.

The ‘Notting Hill’ star has remained close to Elizabeth Hurley – who is now married to textile heir Arun Nayar and has an eight-year-old son Damian from a previous relationship – since their 13-year romance ended in 2000 and even holidays with the actress and her family.

Elizabeth said: “My overall best friend is Hugh. My ‘current affairs’ best friend is Arun, because we speak to each other all day, every day. “My sister Katie is my loyal best friend. But there is a part of my life neither Arun nor Katie understand; a career part and a different emotional level where Hugh is still my number one. We’ve been best friends for 24 years and that’s not nothing.

“Hugh virtually has a bedroom at our house and we’re still neighbors in London. And he’s an excellent godfather to Damian.

“He’s a part of our family – we all go on holiday together and Arun and Hugh get on incredibly well. We’re all grown up, and if I wanted to be with Hugh, we would be together.”

The 44-year-old brunette beauty also revealed she and Arun have been trying for a baby but won’t be unhappy if they are not able to conceive.

She told Zest magazine: “We haven’t had any luck so far. Arun would love another one. Damian does not want another one. And I think it would be great if one came along. But we’re grateful for what we’ve got.”

The ‘Bedazzled’ star praised Arun for being a “full father figure” to Damian – whose natural father is Steve Bing – but admitted the youngster sometimes gets confused about their relationship.

She said: “Damian calls him daddy. He knows he’s not his blood father.

“He’ll sometimes forget, though, and say, ‘Tell me again why dad’s brown and we’re so white.’ And I’ll say, ‘He’s not blood, remember.’ And he’ll say, ‘Yes, I knew that.’ “
