Eva Longoria and Tina Fey have been named the highest-paid actresses on TV.

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ beauty – who plays Gabrielle Solis in the program – and Tina, who created and stars in the award winning ’30 Rock’ each earned a total of $13 million between May 2010 and 2011, $3 million more than their nearest competitors, according to Forbes magazine.

Eva’s ‘Desperate Housewives’ co-star Marcia Cross – who plays uptight Bree Van de Kamp – was next on the list alongside ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ actress Mariska Hargitay and ‘CSI’s Marg Helgenberger, who all made $10 million each.

‘Desperate Housewives’ stars Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman both made $9 million from their roles, while ‘Cougar Town’s Courteney Cox and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ actress Ellen Pompeo each raked in $7 million dollars.

‘The Good Wife’ star Julianna Marguiles – who recently won the Best Actress Emmy for her role as politician’s wife Alicia Floret in the drama series – rounded off the top 10, having earned $6 million from the show.
While the ‘Desperate Housewives’ stars featured heavily on the list, it remains to be seen where they will appear in the future as the show will come to an end after the next season.

Eva recently admitted everyone on set is “emotional” while filming the last series because they know the end is near.

Asked how she will feel at the end of filming, Eva said: “I can’t – you’re going to make me cry already.
“I can’t even think about it. I mean, every episode that we’re shooting now is a little sad, because we’re like, ‘Oh, another scene of all of us in the woods, another scene of all of us playing poker.’ It’s all emotional – every episode is emotional for all of us.”

Actress EVA LONGORIA makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday, September 15th. Ellen talks with Eva about her newfound happiness. Her recent divorce and what she learned from the experience.

Eva on her newfound happiness and what she leaned from her divorce from Tony Parker…

Ellen: You seem very happy and I’m happy to see that you’re happy. I know you went through a tough time. You got divorced.

Eva: Yeah.

Ellen: I think everyone was just pulling for you and hoping that you’d just be happy because we love you so much.

Eva: Thank you.

Ellen: I guess what we all hope to learn through experiences in life is a lesson from something. What did you walk away with from thisexperience?

Eva: Oh gosh, a lot. You know for me being a woman I realized you cannot identify yourself through a man or through your marriage.

Ellen: Amen (high-fives Eva)

Eva: Or through a partner. I think it’s our nature to be socially constructed that way. To just be inferior or subservient and you don’t have to be. You can be yourself and really hold your own by yourself no matter what partnership you’re in.

Ellen: Because when things or if I shouldn’t say when. But if things don’t work out.

Eva: Hollywood, it’s when.

Ellen: Then you feel lost.

Eva: Yeah.

Ellen: I would imagine if you do put your whole identity into that relationship.

Eva: Yeah, same thing with work…Because something happens with your job. You’re like who am I.

Ellen: You do feel like to me that you’re in a really, really happy place.

Eva: I am. I’m in a happy place. Everyone says I look younger. Which I’m like, ok. Everyone keeps saying, you’ve never looked better. I’m going wow; I think divorce agrees with me.

Ellen: Maybe so and maybe you’re in love. Maybe that’s that glow. I don’t know?

Eva: I don’t know? Who knows…I’m happy.

Ellen: ..You and Tony are friendly. Do you still talk?

Eva: No

Ellen: No…

Actress Eva Longoria has confirmed the upcoming season of Desperate Housewives will be the last.

Reports about the demise of the show started circulating online on Friday and TV bosses made it official at a Television Critics Association meeting in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

And Longoria was the first to announce the confirmation in a tweet to fans.

She wrote, “It’s confirmed! We are filming our last season of Desperate Housewives!

“I am so grateful for what the show has given me! We always knew we wanted to end on top and I thank ABC for giving us our victory lap! And a special thanks to show creator Marc Cherry who forever changed my life!”

Abc Entertainment Group president Paul Lee insists the decision to end the drama wasn’t an easy one: “We wanted to plan it out and we wanted to give it that hero farewell that a show as iconic as this really deserves.”

Cherry insists he’s happy with the decision to go out on top, while the show is still profitable for the network.

He says, “The only thing harder than creating a hit show is knowing when to end it.”

A Las Vegas nightclub owned by “Desperate Housewives” co-star Eva Longoria is temporary closing its doors amid financial troubles.

Longoria’s Beso club within the CityCenter complex on the Las Vegas Strip closed Monday to save money.

Beso LLC bankruptcy attorney Lenard Schwartzer said Wednesday that the restaurant attached to the club will remain open because it is profitable.

He says the nightclub could eventually be renovated and reopened.

Beso LLC filed in January for bankruptcy to remain operating while reorganizing nearly $5.7 million in debt. The federal Chapter 11 filing claimed the nightspot was losing more than $76,000 per month.

Longoria owns nearly one-third of the business but is also listed as an unsecured creditor.

Even David Letterman asked where she was going when Eva Longoria walked onto his chat show set in a barely-there tuxedo, which ended up popping open.

‘That’s only part of a tuxedo’, the talk show host joked when the star arrived in hot pants and a low-cut jacket without anything underneath.

And she left Letterman almost speechless when the 36-year-old’s jacket button popped open, almost revealing her modesty.

She first shrieked ‘Oh my button!’ and then quickly covered her chest before turning to Letterman and saying: ‘I’m sorry… but you didn’t see anything.’

Letterman, 63, then joked: ‘Oh lord, we’re going to lose our liquor license.’

But Eva wasn’t in New York City just to wow viewers with her killer legs and flawless figure, she was actually promoting her new cookbook.
