Eva Mendes Hot New Calvin Klein Ads

Eva Mendes is fast becoming more famous for her risque ad campaigns rather than her acting.
The actress smoulders in her newest Calvin Klein campaign, undoubtedly her hottest outing to date.
Eva, 35, is reunited with Keira Knightley’s ex, model Jamie Dornan, for a series of racy shots.

The oiled up pair writhe on top of one another in the sand, clad in nothing but their favourite Calvins for the designers new Whitewashed collection.
The adverts are due to hit billboards this spring, and looks set to attract the attention of censors all over again.
Eva’s steamy ads for the Secret Obsession fragrance featuring the actress in the nude were deemed too risqué for TV in 2008.

In the 30-second clip the We Own The Night actress rolled around seductively on an unmade bed and caressed her body.
Eva is mostly naked and slightly out of focus for the duration of the ad but at one point the 35-year-old touched her breasts and revealed one of her nipples.
The American actress is a bit of a veteran when it comes to disrobing – and sometimes it’s even done for good cause. But not all her fans approve.
Her mother was less than impressed with the ‘I’d Rather Go Naked Then Wear Fur’ campaign she did for animal rights group PETA in 2007.

Eva told Fox News: ‘I was completely naked (but covered in the right areas) which made my mother cringe.
‘But I was like, ‘mom it’s for a good cause!’

Eva Mendes epitomizes glamour. She has starred in numerous films—including hits such as Hitch, Sin City, and Ghost Rider—and has modeled for clothing and cosmetics giants such as Calvin Klein and Revlon. Eva believes fashion should be fun, but there’s nothing fun about the animal suffering caused by the fur industry.
When Eva learned how cruel the fur industry is—and that there are no laws to protect many of the animals who are raised or trapped for fur—she vowed never to wear fur again. To kill animals without damaging their fur, trappers usually strangle, beat, or stomp them to death, and some are even skinned alive or have their throats cut while they are still conscious.
An undercover investigation of Chinese fur farms revealed that dogs and cats frequently end up in traps and cages and fur is often mislabeled when it’s sold, so there really is no way to know what kind of animal a piece of fur came from. More than half of the finished fur garments imported for sale in the U.S. contain fur that came from China.
Eva says, “At a time when there is so much violence in the world, this is one type of violence that all of us can help stop—by being informed consumers.” Watch the following interview to find out more reasons why Eva strongly supports animal rights and refuses to wear fur:

Actress Eva Mendes isn’t afraid to admit that she uses her sex-symbol status to help her secure film roles.
“I don’t allow myself to be typecast, but when I have to turn up the heat and turn up the sexuality and I do an amazing Calvin Klein campaign it’s very conscious, that’s no accident. It’s very methodical on my part,” Mendes explained. “If I feel it’s appropriate to show some nudity in the scenes then I go for it. As much as I use my sexuality, I have never felt exploited. I feel like it’s on my terms and I have no problem with it.”
And while Mendes is one of the most in-demand actresses in Hollywood who has likely been all around the world, interestingly enough, she only made her first visit to the hurricane-torn New Orleans while filming her latest crime drama “Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans” in August last year.
“It was exciting because we brought business there, but it was pretty devastating. I was in shock at some parts, I hadn’t been there ever so I was still in shock that this happened in our country,” Mendes told us while promoting the flick. “I felt we were somewhere else in certain areas. Our government failed this; you can see they failed this. It was pretty intense.”

You’d think Eva Mendes would be comfortable with her looks. But the smoldering actress admits she went to therapy to work through her body issues.
“I love my curves, I embrace them, but I have to walk a fine line,” Mendes told Marie Claire magazine. “I think it comes down to being voluptuous, and if your body’s a certain way, then things can go distasteful in a second.”
The sexpot star, whose nearly-naked ad campaign for Calvin Klein was so racy it was banned in the U.S., confessed to seeking help for her struggles with her self-image.
“I love therapy!” she said. “I’m very in touch with my feelings… there’s nothing like going in and sitting down and talking to someone who has no emotional tie to your life.”
Meanwhile, the 35-year old beauty is also busy delving into her creative side. Last weekend Mendes launched her newest home décor line for the bedroom, Vida, at Macy’s in New York.
This is Mendes’s second home collection for Macy’s, featuring five designs with prices ranging from $100 for a decorative pillow set to $209 for a four-piece comforter set, on sale now at macys.com.
