TV Guide Network was on the red carpet of the 68th Golden Globes on Sunday, January 16th to speak with the stars of film and television as they made their way into the Beverly Hilton Hotel for one of the hottest nights in Hollywood.
The big award winner of the night, “Glee,” seems to have a lot of famous fans including Golden Globe winner Katey Sagal who revealed she would love to be on the show but the campaign might be for Gabby Sidibe.
As she has stated before, the ‘Precious’ actress, who called her dress “purple awesomeness,” told TV Guide Network that she would love to appear on the award-winning ‘Glee.” She says, “I want to be on ‘Glee’ yesterday. I really want to do it so maybe you can call someone for me! I’m so jealous of Gwyneth Paltrow for being on it.”
It seems as if the “Glee’s” cast members would love to have her!
‘Glee’s” Jenna Ushkowitz says, “Ryan knows how much she loves the show. We plug her all the time and tell him, ‘Gabby’s coming today!’ We love her to death so that would be awesome.”
Co-star Amber Riley jokes that although she doesn’t have casting power, “I can bug Ryan Murphy though and I intend too. Let’s see Gabby for Glee on Twitter. Let’s make it a trending topic!”
Jayma Mays continues the love for Gabby and says, “We need to do a ‘Glee for Gabby’ campaign. That’s what I need to start. She would be amazing on the show. Listen Ryan.“
How does the creator Ryan Murphy respond when told of the budding campaign? He tells the Network, “That’s funny because we tried to get her on the show last year and she was not available. We love her. She’s great. She’s a sweet girl.”
