The Hollywood star began dating former wrestler Keibler following his summer split from Italian beauty Elisabetta Canalis, and she has been accompanying Clooney to red carpet events ever since. She even met his parents at the Los Angeles premiere of The Descendants last week.

And the couple’s romance is continuing to heat up, literally – Clooney is whisking his new lady and their relatives off to Cabo San Lucas this week to celebrate Thursday’s holiday.

She tells People magazine, “We’re going to Cabo with our friends and family!”

Clooney and Keibler are becoming regulars in the popular Mexican getaway – they vacationed there last month for the sportswoman’s 32nd birthday.

A report in US Weekly magazine this week suggested Canalis was unhappy to learn about Clooney’s new girl, and sent text messages to his cell phone expressing her dismay at the reports.

Clooney has now taken the unusual step of commenting on his romantic life to dismiss the rumors, and has demanded reporters correct their story.

He tells Tmz.com, “(The report) was completely fabricated in order to sell magazines. I never comment on my personal life unless it affects others… and this lie affects others.

“Since I would be the only actual witness, I ask you to correct your story immediately, but that would assume you cared at all about telling the truth.”

When former WWE wrestler and actress Stacy Keibler drove her Mercedes through the gates to George Clooney’s Studio City, Calif., home Sunday, she seems to have unwittingly confirmed that the two are dating.

“It’s more than just a fling,” a source told USmagazine.com, adding that the odd pair have known one another for a number of years and have even vacationed together in London and at Clooney’s home in Italy.

It was just a quick trip in California, though, that has people talking: As of Monday morning, a day after Keibler arrived at Clooney’s home, she had yet to leave.

If the two are camping out together in Clooney’s love nest, it’s been a long time in the making. They met in 2006 at an Oscars party and struck up a longtime friendship when the “Up In The Air” star approached Keibler and told her he recognized her from her role on the “Dancing With the Stars.”

“It’s so funny,” she told People magazine at the time. “George Clooney came up to me, and he was like, ‘You’re so great. You should win.’ And I said, ‘You watch “Dancing with the Stars”?’”

Clooney, who has over the years been linked to various ladies, recently split with his girlfriend of two years, Elisabetta Canalis, leaving him wide open for a beauty like Keibler to stake her claim.

One said, “George seemed to be not that keen, unless the deal really made it worth his while. But Coty pulled out, saying this figure made the deal impossible.”

Coty has developed fragrances for celebrities, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue, Tim McGraw, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, David and Victoria Beckham, Celine Dion and Faith Hill. A rep for Clooney said his commercial agent couldn’t be reached, and Coty declined to comment. Clooney, 49, is currently filming “Ides of March” in Miami.

Ladies, if you’re dreaming of a white wedding with George Clooney, you can forget about it. That goes for the actor’s current flame, Elisabetta Canalis, as well.

The 49-year-old, who has been married before, said one wedding was more than enough during a Friday interview on “Piers Morgan Tonight.”

He appeared alongside his father, Nick, who admitted he was pining for the day his son would tie the knot with Canalis, an Italian model and actress.

“I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married, so I gave it a shot,” Clooney said.

The heartthrob was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993. She later remarried actor John Slattery, who plays Roger Sterling on the hit show “Mad Men.”

Clooney and Canalis, 32, have been dating for two years, and it doesn’t look like she’s going anywhere soon.

“There are some people who just don’t want to see me happy,” she griped to Vanity Fair last year. “[Clooney] reassures me all the time. He is very close. I feel more embraced than ever before. The idea of being so loved is overwhelming…George has given color back to my life.”

George Clooney has recovered from the malaria he contracted earlier this month during a visit to Sudan.

Publicist Stan Rosenfield says it was the actor’s second bout with the disease.

Clooney is set to discuss the condition and his work in Africa on Piers Morgan’s CNN show Friday.

The actor says his own experience with the disease shows how proper medication can turn “the most lethal condition in Africa” into “a bad 10 days instead of a death sentence.”

The Oscar winner has become a leading advocate for refugees desperate to see an end to decades of civil war in the African nation and he has become a regular visitor, shooting awareness films in the hope of prompting U.S. politicians to support his efforts to bring warlords to justice.

In a new TV interview with CNN host Piers Morgan, Clooney reveals his most recent trip to Africa was his toughest yet. He was working on an initiative with Google and the United Nations, which involved the installation of satellite cameras to capture any uprising following Sudan’s independence vote, when he fell seriously ill with the mosquito-borne disease.
He says, “I guess the mosquito in Juba looked at me and thought I was the bar.”

Clooney told Morgan it was the second time he had contracted malaria, and joked he thinks Sudan’s President Bashir was behind both cases.

George Clooney’s Sardinian squeeze has been named in testimony connected to a cocaine and prostitution bust at two Italian nightclubs.

Elisabetta Canalis, 31, allegedly did cocaine with a 26-year-old Parisian model who worked at Milan hot spot The Club in 2007 and 2008, Italy’s Corriere della Sera newspaper reported.

“I’ve done cocaine with other people, including Elisabetta Canalis,” the model, identified only as Karima M., reportedly told prosecutor Frank Di Maio in October 2008.

Authorities arrested five people and shut down The Club and nearby venue Hollywood on Monday.

The Club allegedly “recruited” models to entertain clients at VIP tables, run up huge tabs and provide sex off the premises, the prosecutor said.

A Los Angeles rep for Canalis was unable to comment by deadline.

Clooney, 49, began dating the stunning Italian TV host, model and actress last year.

They share the bachelor actor’s picture-perfect Italian villa on Lake Como.
