Heather Mills is being sued by her ex-publicists, who claim she made false allegations about her ex-husband Sir Paul McCartney.

A lawsuit has been launched by PR company Parapluie – who used to work with the former model – in which they say Heather made untrue claims about the musician, including allegations he used to beat her up while under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

The documents say Heather – who has a seven-year-old daughter, Beatrice, with the former Beatles star – told one of the publicists: “I could kill [Paul] last night, he tried to choke me. The marriage is over.”

However, sources at the company believe Heather was lying and fabricated the stories up in a bid to win sympathy.

The suit – which has been obtained by gossip website TMZ – also claims Heather was given the chance to appear on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ but would only appear if Donald Trump would guarantee she would win, something he refused to do.

Heather, 43, is also accused of lying when she said all the money she earned from her appearance on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2007 would go to charity, with the firm claiming only a portion did.

The publicity company is suing for unpaid fees totalling $168,000.

Heather got divorced from Paul in 2008 and she was awarded £24.3 million in the settlement.

The former model – who opened VBites in Brighton, South England last year after receiving a $24.3 million divorce settlement from ex-husband Sir Paul McCartney – has shut the doors on the eatery, for a supposed “summer break”, but insiders insist the business is in trouble and is unlikely to reopen.

A cafe insider said: “I understand Heather has been hemorrhaging money on VBites for a while now. A six month ‘holiday’ isn’t usual.”

Locals have claimed the business was deserted during the busy summer season while Maura Hughes, who lives nearby revealed she heard about the closure from the restaurant’s head chef.

She said: “He’s not happy about it at all.”

Other residents have insisted the venture won’t be missed if it shuts down for good.

Truck driver Tom Brown said: “I’ve never used it and I never would apart from maybe using the loo. I’m not a vegan, it doesn’t really interest me and I heard the food was rotten.

“I’ll be glad if it changes hand so I can have a proper cup of tea or coffee with real milk instead of the stuff they serve there.”

However 42-year-old Heather – who has a six-year-old daughter Beatrice with the Beatles legend – has angrily denied the restaurant is to close.

She tweeted: “VBites had a great summer, the success has brought us many opportunities to become worldwide.

“We are so excited to start our franchise projects and spread the Vegan ethics, training classes, cookery classes now our cafe is in its wintery weather season. Keep updated on VBites.com and thanks for all your continued support.”

A statement on the restaurant’s website said: “We have had a fantastic summer and – like many beach cafes across the country – will be closed over the winter so that we can focus on staff training, recipe development and VBites franchising.”

An answering machine message for the restaurant said the venue would reopen in spring, but failed to give an exact date.

Heather Mills has been accused of lying in court over allegations she fell out with her former nanny Sara Trumble about a breast enhancement procedure.

The reality TV star took to the stand at an employment tribunal case on Thursday and told the court her relationship with the child carer broke down when Trumble asked her for $6,000 for cosmetic surgery.

Mills said, “I had a breast reduction when I was 21 and I couldn’t pick anything up for weeks because it was so painful.

“I didn’t criticize her wanting to have a breast enlargement; I just felt it would have been wrong of me to help with something that could have been a reaction to her boyfriend or her hormones.”

But the ex-wife of Sir Paul MCCartney came under fire from Trumble’s solicitor Nick Fairweather, who claimed the reality TV star was “telling a very, very unpleasant lie”.

Mills hit back at the accusation, saying, “I’m not telling a lie. She asked me for $6,000, how on earth would I have known that amount when I put my statement together?”

The former nanny is taking legal action against Mills, claiming sexual discrimination and constructive dismissal after losing her job in 2008.

A former nanny for Heather Mills described yesterday how the vain ex-model demanded that staff say nice things about her on TV — and quizzed them to find out if her hunky new boyfriend was flirting with them.

Sara Trumble, who’s suing Mills for sex discrimination and unfair dismissal, told a British employment tribunal that Sir Paul McCartney’s ex-wife became bitter and high strung after their split. When a documentary crew arrived, Trumble related, “I was told to say [on camera] how wonderful Heather was. The interview was orchestrated entirely by Heather. I had no choice but to take part.”

She also said she felt “awkward, upset and embarrassed” when Mills kept asking her whether Jamie Walker, a resort guide she met in Tenerife, ever flirted with her.

Trumble met Mills in 2003 and took a job looking after Beatrice, Mills’ daughter with McCartney, the following year. Mills became more demanding over time, and Trumble was often expected to stay late for no extra pay while the couple was out.

After the pair split in 2006, “Heather was very bitter toward Paul,” Trumble said. “I was, I believe, a great source of comfort and support for Heather at this time.”

When Trumble became pregnant in 2007, Mills demanded she accompany her and Bea to the United States, where she was competing on “Dancing With the Stars.”
Trumble, who was paid just $390 a week, testified that she was ordered back to work from maternity leave: “[Mills] wanted to know when I was going back to work. She left a message — it was something about Bea not having a nanny. It was a really rude, horrible message, and I was reduced to tears.”

But after returning to work, Trumble found herself doing paperwork and cooking meals for Mills, who then announced at a staff meeting that Trumble would be a full-time cleaner. She then quit.

Mills, who’s expected to give evidence today, sat in court and muttered to friends throughout Trumble’s testimony.

At an employment tribunal on Monday, Sara Trumble claimed Mills forced her to work overtime without pay and then replaced her when she gave birth to her own daughter.

Trumble recalled working for Mills when she was married to McCartney and then standing by her boss when her marriage ended and through her bitter divorce trial.

In court, the nanny said, “I was, I believe, a great source of comfort and support for Heather at this time.”

Mills gifted Trumble with a new car and cash when her daughter was born, but things turned sour, according to the nanny, when the former model demanded that she return to work while she was still on maternity leave – and employed her as a full-time cleaner.

Mills, who was in court for her former employee’s testimony, is expected to take the stand on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.

Heather Mills is constantly guarded when questioned about her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney – because the former model fears she will end up in jail if she reveals too much.

The couple separated in 2006 after four years of marriage, leading to an ugly public divorce battle.

The Beatles star was ordered to hand over $38.9 million of his fortune to Mills after their union was officially dissolved in 2008.

Mills was banned from talking about the divorce proceedings – and now she’s constantly wary of what she says as a result.

She says, “The judge decided to put it in the judgment that I would be gagged for my whole life and that I would go to prison if I talked about it.”

But the 42 year old is angry the ban was imposed – because she was unable to speak up when she read hurtful things about her in the media.

She adds, “I found that very unfair because of all the lies being said that I wasn’t allowed to defend myself. And because of the vilification in the press, my career was ruined completely.”

She’s already tried her hand at ballroom dancing across the ocean, and now Heather Mills is putting her best foot forward by stepping on to the ice for a spot of skating.

Heather, who turns 42 this week, was spotted carrying her false limb as she headed into rehearsals for the show – however, she admitted that the leg has held her back.

She said: ‘its ankle doesn’t band and I fall 50 per cent of the time.’

Judge Nicky Slater has already expressed his concern as to whether Heather will be able to perform well after seeing her in rehearsals.

He said: ‘Choreography should work to hide disability, and one-legged skating IS possible, but here it’s how the other leg reacts that affects aesthetics. A challenge.’

Meanwhile Paul McCartney’s ex-wife insisted that producers on the ITV contest, which starts tonight, provide leather-free footwear in line with her strict beliefs.

So they were forced to order £200 skates made from a synthetic material called Clarino.

The former model lost her left leg below the knee after a road accident in 1993, but no modifications were needed to the skates to accommodate her prosthetic limb.

A source said: ‘Heather is adamant that she will not wear leather, which is barely a step down from fur as far as she is concerned.

‘It was part of her conditions for going on the show, which also include an insistence that all her refreshments are vegan.

‘Vegan boots are not unheard of in ice-dancing because leather needs so much looking after, but they are not the standard by any means.’

The boots are made by American firm Riedell, which makes most of its skates from animal leather.

Ms Mills is debuting with the other 13 celebrities on tonight’s show and has a new haircut which makes her almost unrecognisable.

Instead, the spiky crop and low-cut dresses rather make her look like feisty EastEnder Shirley Carter, played by Linda Henry.

The 41-year-old ex-model – who won £24million in her divorce settlement from the former Beatle – said on her website yesterday that the show was ‘the best way I have of generating charity income’.

The 41-year-old former model, who lost her left leg after being knocked over by a police motorcycle in 1993, has been learning to skate with an instructor at a rink near her home in East Sussex.

The first pictures of Mills as she gingerly steps on to the ice show that she has attached a white ice skating boot to her prosthetic limb.

And she then gives a tentative and shaky smile as she moves around the rink, before managing to skate a few steps by herself.

After a few minutes she was able to perform a few moves unaided, without the need to employ the padding strategically placed around her rear in case of a fall.

A friend told the Daily Mail: ‘Heather is a big fan of Dancing On Ice and she would be thrilled and delighted to take part. She will tackle it in the normal way, with hard work and determination’.

The next series starts in January.
