The wrestling legend – real name Terry Bollea – admitted he wasted the vast sums of money he earned during his years in the WWE and WCW and is now living in a rented home after slashing $16 million off the price of his Florida mansion in order to get a quick sale.

The WWE Hall of Fame inductee told ‘Good Morning America’: “There were houses being bought, and cars being bought, and vacations for family members. There was eight, nine, $10 million, $11 million going out, so it got way off.”

Despite his financial troubles, Hulk seemingly announced his retirement from professional wrestling on TNA TV show ‘Impact Wrestling’ last night, claiming he wanted to break the news to his fans first because they always stuck by him through the major difficulties in his life, including a divorce from wife Linda in 2007.

However, speculation is rife his retirement is a ‘work’ – part of a wrestling storyline – and he will step inside the squared circle again against Sting at upcoming pay-per-view ‘Bound For Glory’.

Meanwhile, Hulk has run into trouble after attempting to boost his finances with his latest venture, a reality TV show on US network TruTV featuring miniature wrestlers, after midget competitor Steve Richardson – aka ‘Puppet the Psycho Dwarf’ – accused him of stealing his idea.

He said: “I have no ill feelings toward Hogan, but loads of his wrestlers are the guys I fired. They’re using all the ideas everything I came up with. There’s no individuality. They’re following the same concepts. It’s a violation of intellectual property rights.”

MCW wrestling owner Johnny Greene said: “We had this idea first, but they rushed to Spike TV to get their show on the air first, figuring whoever got on the air first would capture the audience.

“But their show sucked. They were doing midgets and Jackass, and ours is a real wrestling show. Puppet’s just trying to jump on the bandwagon because their business is dying.”

The wrestling legend’s former spouse Linda Hogan – who he divorced in 2008 after 25 years of marriage – has claimed in her new autobiography, ‘Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes’, that he had a violent temper that would manifest itself physically when they argued.

But the 57-year-old TNA grappler has branded Linda’s allegation a “total, blatant lie” and has accused her of still trying to trade off his famous name.
Insisting he has “no reason” to defend himself, he said during a radio interview on the ‘Bubba the Love Sponge Show’: “Dude, I never laid a hand on her . If you step back and take a really good look at this – if you take the Hulk Hogan name out of her situation, her life, her career, the air she breathes . she’s out of gas. She’s still riding on the Hulk Hogan name. Just take her and put her in the same category with the Iron Sheik and the Ultimate Warrior. They all belong together.”
The Iron Sheik and the Ultimate Warrior are former wrestling opponents of Hulk – real name Terry Bollea – and have been vocal critics of him during their retirements.
In an extract from her book, Linda wrote: “Hulk tore my shirt. He threw lamps. He held me down on the bed with his hands around my throat during arguments, slamming doors, pounding walls. I was always afraid he would kill me in one of his rages.”
Discussing the tome on ‘The Today Show’, Linda – who has two children, daughter Brooke, 23, and son Nick, 20, with ex-WWE star Hulk – claimed prescription medicines played a part in her husband’s mood swings.
The 51-year-old blonde said: “Drugs were always around – prescribed. Wrestlers have always got injuries. There was a constant flow of pain pills, anti-inflammatories, steroids – a lot of them did take steroids. It makes somebody – you don’t know what you’re dealing with.”

Hulk Hogan has become an active fan of MCW (Micro Championship Wrestling).

Hogan, aka Terry Bollea, has endorsed the sport, now known as ‘Hulk Hogan’s Micro Championship Wrestling,’ and has been showing his support through attending the recent tour across the U.S.

The roadshow has already held matches in Tennessee and Minnesota and is set to head on to Santa Ana, California at the end of April.

TruTV have now announced that this will form the basis of their latest reality TV project. The Cookeville Times reported “The President/Ceo of MCW, Johnny G, told us that he had brought the idea of this organization to Hulk Hogan. Hulk loved the idea and took the idea to one of the biggest names in the wrestling world – Eric Bischoff.”
The MCW, which features little ‘superstars’ such as Meatball, ‘Blixx’ and ‘Justice’ have previously performed with bands like Kid Rock, Iron Maiden, and Slipknot.

Your wedding day is always unforgettable, and Hulk Hogan certainly won’t forget his in a hurry.

The wrestler married his 35-year-old girlfriend, Jennifer McDaniel, at his Clearwater, Florida, home on Tuesday night.
And in true Hogan fashion, the ceremony was not without it’s drama, where police had to be called to break-up a fight.

The disruption happened when a photographer reportedly tried to ‘crash’ the wedding and subsequently became embroiled in a fight with Ron Howard, a family friend that was officiating as a security guard.

According to website TMZ the photographer, Robert Martinez ,put his elbow on Howard’s throat and screamed: ‘I’m packing a gun’.

The local police department confirmed that they were called to an altercation and that there was a firearm involved – no arrests were made though.

Hulk later Tweeted about the incident: ‘Man, when you least expect it, it still gets crazy as he’ll. What a day! HH.’
A police report filed by the first officer at the scene, Jennifer McDaniel, stated: ‘I looked over the video in the camera. I did see a quick glimpse of Martinez’s hand on Howard’s throat.

‘But I cannot say if he put it there on purpose of by accident during the physical confrontation. I did hear Martinez state “I have a gun.”‘

It seems the 57-year-old, real name Terry Gene Bollea, didn’t let the drama ruin the day though, and he’s vowing that after one failed marriage this time is for keeps.

He later Tweeted a picture of his platinum and diamond wedding band with the message: ‘This time were really gonna make history!’

It was a small wedding with only family and close friends invited, including Hulk’s two children from his first marriage to Linda Claridge – Brooke, 22 and Nick, 20.

Hogan’s spiritual advisor Dr. Michael Beckwith – who was featured on the recent A&E special Finding Hulk Hogan – performed the ceremony.

Hogan has been dating the new Mrs Hogan, who looks eerily like his daughter Brooke, since early 2008, the two became engaged in November 2009.

Celebrity wrestler Hulk Hogan has settled a negligence lawsuit over a 2007 car crash, which left a 19-year-old ex-Marine with permanent brain damage.

Hogan’s son Nick Bollea pleaded no contest to reckless driving for his part in the high-speed collision in Clearwater, Florida, which left passenger John Graziano with a skull fracture. He completed 166 days of an eight-month prison sentence in 2008.

Graziano’s family filed an auto negligence civil lawsuit against Nick, his wrestler dad Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, his mother Linda Bollea and friend Daniel Jacob in March (09), alleging they were negligent in their actions, which led to Graziano’s injuries.

An attorney for the Graziano family announced the settlement on Friday but did not disclose its terms.

Graziano was under doctors’ care at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Florida following the accident. He was discharged last September and allowed to go home with his mother, but is still in need of 24-hour care.

Hogan’s estranged wife Linda previously settled with Graziano’s family.

It’s been a rough couple of years for Hulk Hogan between son Nick’s tragic car accident and jail sentence followed by a bitter divorce with his wife of 25 years Linda Bollea. But after putting pen to paper and exposing everything from his suicidal thoughts to his wife’s alcohol addiction (which she denies) in the book “My Life Outside the Ring,” it seems the former pro-wrestler will walk down the aisle again.

“My marriage to Linda was very toxic and very negative. Jennifer (his current girlfriend) is just the opposite, she doesn’t drink or get high on drugs,” Hogan told Tarts in an exclusive interview. “If you’re in my home and watching TV, you have to watch the science channel or the history channel or cartoons. She doesn’t watch anything negative like the news or TMZ. She doesn’t read the newspaper. She always walks in the Spirit of Christ, she never deviates. I can really see myself marrying this woman.”

And for those who thought the WWE champ was big and scary, think again.

“I don’t like confrontations of any kind, it makes me really nervous,” Hogan said. “Even going back to high school when people would say ‘let’s meet at the tracks after school, I don’t like you because you’re too fat. I’m going to beat you up.’ That would upset me so bad that I would shake and be nervous all day because I hate confrontations.”

But it seems Hogan just can’t escape conflict with his former wife. Last week, Linda Bollea filed a second motion of enforcement in the Pinellas County Superior Court in Florida on Tuesday against the wrestler with claims that he hasn’t been paying his end of the confidential divorce settlement. According to Bollea’s attorney Ray Rafool, she is entitled to almost 40 percent of all earnings Hogan makes from July 2009 to forever (such as merchandising, trademarks and royalties), with the exception of any acting or personal appearance gigs.

“Hulk Hogan is up to his old tricks and hiding income for which Linda is entitled, we once again must seek enforcement of the parties’ divorce agreement,” Rafool told Tarts. “We truly wish Hulk Hogan would honor his agreements no matter how unfavorable he believes the agreement is to him. I will force him to comply with every term of his agreement.”

A rep for Hogan did not respond for comment.

Bollea first filed a motion against her ex in August with claims that he didn’t give her the Harley and finances she deserved as per their divorce agreement, but the issue was later resolved.

So given Hulk’s tumultuous life in the limelight, chances are one day his book could find its way onto the big screen. So who would the former-pro-wrestler like to play him?

“Me! I would love to play myself,” he said. “If not, maybe Jeff Bridges would be great.”

On the note of films, turns out 19-year-old son and former jailbird Nick Hogan can now officially call himself an “actor.” We wait with baited breath…

“Nick is doing great, he’s in L.A. and he just got his first acting job in an independent film,” Hulk added. “Brooke is living down here; she signed with my agent and is going on auditions because we don’t know if they will renew ‘Brooke Knows Best’ yet.”

Wrestling star Hulk Hogan is left pouring with blood after coming to blows with his arch enemy Ric Flair.

The ugly scenes erupted after the pair traded insults about their failed love lives during a press conference in Australia.

But onlookers were left wondering how real the promotional event was – such things are known as a ‘work’ among wrestling fans and often end with one party hurt.

It is thought Hogan, 56, ‘bladed’, cutting himself to start a flow of blood which then poured down his face and all over his white T-shirt.

Australian media groups were unsure what to make of the incident, with many reporting it as a serious bust-up.

According to local reports, one photographer had his flash broken when Flair threw a table off the stage and into the press gathering before diving on photographers.

As Flair laid into Hogan, his head began to bleed ‘profusely’ and the wrestler appeared unable to get to his feet.

The two wrestling icons are heading up the HulkaMania: Let The Battle Begin tour Down Under.

The match-up between the pair is eagerly anticipated, especially since the Hogan has never wrestled in Australia during his 31-year career.

Hulk – who recently divorced wife Linda – said: ‘The fans here have stuck with me through the highs and lows.

‘In the last couple of years my personal life got flipped upside-down and the fans stayed with me through everything, so what better place to start over than right here.’

Flair, 60, who last week got married for the fourth time, said of the match: ‘Two guys are going to walk down that aisle.
‘One will walk back. I’ve never, ever not made it back down that aisle.’

Others on the tour include former WWE superstars Rikishi, The Nasty Boys, Shannon Moore, Umaga, Mr Kennedy and Val Venis.
Once the tour is finished, Hogan is off to work for TNA and Flair is rumoured to be following him.

Just when Linda Bollea thought things were finally and officially over between her and ex-hubby Hulk Hogan, the former pro-wrestler released a new book “My Life Outside the Rings,” which has his former flame outraged after his reference to her as an “abusive alcoholic.”

“As far as what he has said about Linda, it’s not accurate about her being involved with heavy alcohol and being abusive, and trying to hit Nick with a wine bottle? Absolutely false,” Bollea’s attorney Ray Rafool said. “It’s disappointing and it is irritating. we disagree and wish he would have stuck to the facts instead of sensationalism to sell his book. It does reheat a lot of stuff, but it makes her feel all the more happy that she’s divorced and away from him. He’s Jennifer’s problem now.”

In the book Hulk also opened up about the suicidal thoughts he experienced for a few days while drinking and handling a gun that he had kept in the closet.

“You can now understand the fear that Linda had when she was going through the divorce because she knows his personality, heard these rumors, knew what he was doing, and that’s the reason why she was so concerned. We’re thankful that at this point, he has straightened his life out,” Rafool said.

A rep for Hulk said that he “stands by what is written in the book.”

At this stage, Bollea doesn’t intend to file a suit against her ex over his claims, however the two are still entwined in a bitter legal battle. On Thursday, Hulk filed a motion against Linda for enforcement, stemming from when she took legal action when the settlement agreement was not met but according to her attorney, they will most certainly be filing another motion over his continued failures.

And despite murmurs that their 21-year-old daughter Brooke Hogan does not even speak to her mother as a result of the messy divorce (and the fact Linda is now in a serious relationship with one of her high school acquaintances), things between the two are now apparently sweeter then sweet.

“They’re very good. Brooke has been spending a lot of time with Linda in California. It’s been a great revolution that they are back together, mother and daughter, very close, and in fact, she talked to Brooke today at least once or twice,” Rafool added. “They’re back the way it was. It’s one nice thing about the divorce being over, the kids don’t have to feel they’re in the middle anymore.”
