The father of eight, who is being sued by TLC for breach of contract, was out and about in New York City over the weekend with 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman, according to Us Weekly magazine.

The couple enjoyed a PDA-filled horse and carriage ride before dining at The Oak Room on Saturday. Then on Sunday, the duo walked around Manhattan in the rain, according to Us Weekly magazine.

Gosselin and wife Kate, 34, are separated and pursuing a divorce. They were together for 10 years.

Last week, the network that made Gosselin a household name through the reality series, “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ named the 32-year-old in a lawsuit, accusing him of violating his “exclusive” contract by making paid and unpaid television appearances without TLC’s permission.

TLC is seeking unspecified compensatory damages as well as demanding Gosselin return the money he made off those unapproved appearances.

Mark Heller, Gosselin’s attorney, calls TLC’s allegations “weak, feeble and baseless.”

Meanwhile, TLC has announced that production on “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ will end next month and the network will move ahead with plans for “Kate Plus 8.”

From the angle of the photo it would appear that Jon Gosselin does have big feet – and you know what they say about guys with big feet!

On the first of this month, Jon Gosselin and his Rent-A-Center lawyer had TLC by the balls. Jon wanted to expand on the ever desirous Jon Gosselin brand, and if TLC didn’t cave, he was gonna shut down ‘Jon and Kate Plus 8?. They tried to intimidate him, but he showed them who was boss, huh? Radar says…

Read The Court Documents

Jon Gosselin has been raking in cash for interviews and appearances and TLC knows what he’s made and where he’s made it.
…the network wants all that money plus damages in a court battle that has the strong possibility of leaving Jon flat broke.
TLC already knows Jon has been paid for media appearances and every penny will come out in the lawsuit. The paydays are in violation of his contract with the network, which has a clearly defined exclusivity clause.
That contract is valid until February 2010, even though the show is no longer filming.
TLC has an option to renew Jon’s contract once it expires, thereby keeping him from doing projects on any other network.
Jon’s negative public comments also violate his contact and the network is seeking punitive damages against him and Jon will also be on the hook for TLC’s attorney’s fees if the network wins in court.
Jon also has a morals clause in his contract. His boozing and behavior could also be dragged into the lawsuit.

The only way TLC could have owned Jon any more with this lawsuit is if they served him with it by rolling it up and shoving it up his ass.

Whether or not the TLC reality phenonomon “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ will actually return to the airwaves for another season is still TBA, but one thing is for sure, the parenting duo are pretty much considered the lowest of low even by their D-list reality counterparts. Now that’s sad.

“Jon and Kate handled the entire thing wrong, their kids are going to grow up to resent and hate them. They should hang up their towel and get a real f***ing job to support their children instead of ruining their lives,” the original “Next Top Model” turned “My Fair Brady” starlet Adrianne Curry said at the FOX REALLY Awards on Tuesday. “If I ever do get pregnant, I don’t know that I would ever share it, and if I did, all the money made wouldn’t be going into Ed Hardy shirts but into a college savings account. But to each their own, if they feel like mistreating their kids then that’s their decision. I like Kate more than I like Jon right now, but I would like her more if she got a real job and took them off TV while they are going through the pain of the divorce.”

Former playmate and author Cindy Margolis (whose reality dating show ‘Seducing Cindy’ comes out in January) agreed that the situation the Gosselin’s have put their children in is “way too much.”

“My twin girls are four and I did not allow them on the show with me around the men. My son Nicholas is seven and he did come with me only once. I explained to him that the guys (the 25 male contestants vying for her affection) are just part of the crew. It’s really hard bringing children into a situation like that, and I would never do it,” she explained.

Meanwhile “Real Housewives of O.C.” star Gretchen Rossi said that its one thing for her to go in and expose herself to the world, but “when you start affecting children who didn’t sign up for it” things go to a whole new level of inappropriate. However, “Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” Kim Zolciak has no regrets about her time in the limelight.

“My two little girls have a hard time, sometimes it’s hard for them at school,” Zolciak said. “But all press is good – negative or positive, it doesn’t matter.”

On the flipside, Danny Bonaduce’s former wife Gretchen (who came with her new fiancé) seems to think it’s the media that are more disgusting than the controversial Gosselin parents.

“It’s not the show that ruins relationships, it’s cheating and all the other things. It has nothing to with the camera. Blaming it on the show is not right,” Bonaduce said. “This is going to sound mean, but if the media is so concerned about the kids, then stop covering them. Then the kids won’t read it and nobody will know about it.”

To add insult to injury, the Gosselins were jeered inside the awards show after winning the “Best Reality OMG Moment” when it was announced they were parting ways. Not surprisingly, neither Jon nor Kate made it there to accept the award.

Jon Gosselin has been ordered to return $180,000 in marital funds by Oct. 26, according to a lawyer for his estranged wife.

Kate Gosselin, meanwhile, must provide an accounting of past expenses by the same date, lawyer Mark Momjian said. And an arbitrator will review another $55,000 she says she spent on household and child-related expenses.

The divorcing stars of TLC’s “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ appeared briefly in family court Tuesday in the Philadelphia suburb of Norristown. The couple have eight young children — twins and sextuplets.

According to Momjian, Montgomery County Judge Arthur R. Tilson ordered Jon Gosselin to return the money or face contempt charges for violating an arbitrator’s order.

“As difficult as this has been for me, I am pleased that the court has ruled fairly on behalf of myself and my children,” Kate Gosselin said in the statement her lawyer released. “Now that this matter has been ruled on, I look forward to returning to private arbitration, as we have agreed to do, to resolve any remaining issues.”

Jon Gosselin’s lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, released a statement saying there was no proof that the $55,000 was used for family expenses.

“It may very well be determined that very substantial sums of money which Kate has failed to account for might have been misapplied and misused by Kate,” Heller said.

“As of now, Jon Gosselin chooses to give Kate the benefit of doubt,” Heller said.

TLC is renaming the show “Kate Plus Eight.” Jon Gosselin has sent the network a cease-and-desist letter, saying he believes the filming is harmful to the children.

Kate Gosselin has taken to the courthouse to open a new front in the ongoing war with her estranged husband Jon.

The ‘Plus 8′ matriarch reportedly filed for child and spousal support.

Last week’s filing in Pennsylvania’s Montgomery County Court occured around the same time Kate filed an emergency petition seeking $230K that she says Jon plundered from a joint bank account, TMZ.com reports.

Insiders told TMZ an exact dollar amount has not been specified.

The couple’s feuding has degenerated into an all out war being waged in the media over the last week.Just days after TLC announced it would be re-launching the couple’s show sans Jon, his attorneys moved to bar production and filming crews from the Gosselins’ Pennsylvania home.

TLC suspended production and shot back they were tired of Jon’s “erratic behavior.”

Shortly after, allegations surfaced that the 32-year-old octodad pulled more than $200K from a joint account – leaving Kate with a paltry $1300 in the bank.

Both parties subsequently took to the airwaves to make their case for who loves the kids more.

“I do know that no matter what, I know within myself that if I have to work at McDonald’s, I will do what it takes to provide for my kids, period,” Kate said in an apperance Monday on the “Today” show.

That same day, in an appearance on “Entertainment Tonight,” Jon balked at being cast as the villain.

“I’m not the bad guy here – I’m the one trying to protect my children. That’s called being a parent, protecting my children.”

The couple briefly managed to bury the he-said, she-said hatchet to jointly celebrate twins Mady and Cara’s birthday, with Jon telling reporters he and Kate were “cordial.”

But the ongoing war is reportedly taking its toll on the brood of 8.

The little Gosselins, sources told US Magazine, are “confused and distraught and acting out all the time in an effort to get attention from their parents.”

First, Jon Gosselin took away most of the money in the joint bank account he shares with his estranged wife, Kate. Now, Kate Gosselin is taking away any chance of Jon seeing his twins for their birthday.

“Thursday is Cara and Mady’s 9th birthday,” Kate, 34, told People.com. “That’s my focus to get me through the next few days. I’m going to bake a chocolate cake from scratch, and that’s going to feel normal and happy.”

However, any hope for a joyous celebration for Kate’s oldest children may be lost now that Jon claims she is trying to alter their joint custody arrangement and only allow him at their Pennsylvania home on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

“She’s trying to prevent me from seeing my kids on their birthday because she doesn’t want to see me,” the dad of eight, 32, claimed Wednesday in an interview on Entertainment Tonight. “She doesn’t want to hear my apology. She doesn’t want to work things out.”

Kate, who alleges that Jon stole $230,000 of the $231,000 the couple had in their joint bank account, leaving her and the children with barely enough to survive, wrote an email to Jon saying, “Due to recent events, it will be too stressful to the kids to have both of us here as planned. I would like to split the evening so they can see us both.”

According to Jon, agreeing to his wife’s requests would be “like giving her full custody.”

“She can’t tell me what to do. I’m not going to allow it,” Jon spewed. “I’m just going to stay. I own the house so I can do what I want.”

As for how he will behave once inside the family’s $1 million home, Jon said he will act like “my old self, as an avoider and passive.”

“I want to go home for Cara and Mady — but I don’t want to face [Kate],” he added. “We’ll just put on a happy face… and do what’s best for Mady and Cara.”

The couple’s back and forth disagreements regarding custody – in public, no less – may not even matter since Jon revealed that most of his children didn’t care when they found out their parents were splitting up.

“When we told them we were going to get divorced, the 5-year olds said, ‘What’s for lunch? The only two people who really cared were Mady and Cara,” Jon claimed. “Cara broke down and Mady said, ‘Oh, I saw this coming.’”

Fighting back tears, Kate Gosselin said on TODAY Monday that she is broke and can’t pay her bills after her estranged husband Jon cleaned out their joint bank account. But later the same day, Jon Gosselin fired back, telling TV show “The Insider” that Kate’s account was “a total fabrication” and accusing her of “hiding money.”

“[Jon] took $230,000 of the $231,000 we had,” Kate told Meredith Vieira on TODAY in New York Monday morning. “I have a stack of bills. The last thing I wanted was to do this show and end up not being able to pay our bills.” However, she also said that Jon Gosselin did not touch their eight children’s money, which Kate said remains safe in protected funds she established.

Where’s the money?
According to Kate, Jon Gosselin virtually cleaned out the account that Kate said contains all their liquid assets last week after TLC announced that it would continue filming the Gosselin family, but was changing the name of their show from “Jon & Kate Plus 8” to “Kate Plus Eight.”

Kate told Vieira that under the Gosselins’ agreement with TLC, the network will stop filming if either she or Jon make such a request. “It has ended our income and our paychecks and our opportunities,” Kate told Vieira. “I wish Jon would think more about it.”

But Jon told “The Insider” a different story later the same day, according to People.com. “I withdrew $22,000 last Thursday,” he said, adding that he had “the paper trail to prove it.”

In total, Jon said he had withdrawn “roughly $177,000 over the course of a year.” He also said that the joint account in question is only one of 11 the couple have, and said that Kate “had a best-selling book. Where’s that million dollars?”

Kate did allude to more than one bank account during her TODAY appearance. “Financially, the kids are protected; they have the fund that I set up for them,” she said. “That was my long-term goal. It is secure and substantial … and it is safe. I had the presence of mind to start that on my own. That’s what I want for them, [for] their future to be secure.”

Vieira asked Kate how she’s holding up under the latest assault on what once appeared to be the perfect family life.

“I’m hanging in there. It’s hard. Every morning I don’t know what I’m going to wake up to,” Kate replied.

“He has gone way far off the trail … Obviously, I am very upset. I can’t sleep at night. I can’t pay my bills. I think he’s receiving bad advice. I think he’s making bad decisions.”

Guess I forgot to tell Kate Gosselin rule #1 of divorce – get a NEW bank account girl!!!!! Come on now, it’s not rocket science!

As Jon Gosselin told a national TV audience he wanted to “work things out” with his estranged wife, Kate, the reality show dad was secretly emptying out their joint bank account.

RadarOnline.com reports that Jon, 32, withdrew hundreds of thousands of dollars out of the couple’s joint account, leaving her with only $1,000.

“I just looked in the mirror and I said, ‘I don’t want to be this person anymore,’” Jon said during his Thursday night appearance on “Larry King Live.” “I made mistakes. I know I messed up. I do regret a lot of things. But I have to learn from those mistakes and move forward.”

Apparently Jon didn’t learn much as his recent actions were in violation of the Gosselin divorce arbitrator’s guidelines. A second bank account set up for the Gosselin children was reportedly was untouched.

Upon learning what happened, Kate hired high-powered lawyer, Marty Singer, who is requesting a judge to hold Jon in contempt of court for emptying out a reported $200,000 from their account, RadarOnline.com reports.

“If the money is not immediately returned, we will be looking into potential claims against Mr. Heller if he had any involvement with the violation of the court order,” said Singer. “It is very disappointing that Jon Gosselin has escalated this to such an ugly place that her lawyers have to do everything they can to protect her and her children from his outrageous actions.”

A separate lawyer for the 34-year-old octomom is said to be going to a Pennsylvania court Monday to file papers requesting the money be returned.

As for Jon’s lawyer, Mike Heller, he had an odd choice of words for Kate’s attorney, Mark Momjian, on Larry King Live.

“(Your) focus seems to be money, seems to be the show going on,” he said. “This man (Jon) doesn’t care about the money.”

However, it is the money that has taken the couple’s bitter divorce one dramatic step further.

Days after TLC announced the re-launch of “Kate Plus 8,” Jon had his attorneys send letters to the network stating that all production and filming crews were banned from the family’s Wernersville, Penn. home.

In return, the network suspended the show’s production and released a statement saying they were sick of Jon’s “erratic behavior.”

“We are aware of Jon Gosselin’s recent statements, and remain deeply disappointed at his continued erratic behavior,” reads the statement, released by TLC. “His latest comments are grossly inaccurate, without merit and are clearly opportunistic.”

Kate will appear on NBC’s “Today Show” Monday morning in an appearance with host Meredith Vieira that was scheduled before the latest divorce bombshell.

The father of the children on “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ says it’s “not healthy” for his kids to continue appearing on the TLC reality show.

Jon Gosselin says he had “an epiphany one day” and realized his 5-year-old sextuplets and 8-year-old twins shouldn’t be filmed at the family’s Pennsylvania home while their parents are going through a divorce.

Gosselin’s comments came during an hourlong interview on CNN’s “Larry King Live” Thursday.

TLC network has shut down filming of the children on “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ after receiving a cease-and-desist order from Gosselin.

In a statement, the network said production would remain suspended “pending further conversations” between both Gosselins. Filming not directly involving the kids is ongoing, TLC said Thursday.

“It appears that Jon’s priority is Jon and his interests,” his estranged wife, Kate Gosselin, said in a statement on Thursday. “My priority remains our children and their well being.”

Jon Gosselin says that though his family has earned $1 million for appearing on the show, he wants production “to stop completely.” He told King that, in retrospect, he wishes his family hadn’t done the show at all.

Gosselin’s attorney, Mark Heller, also appeared on King’s show Thursday.

“This man doesn’t care about the money. He doesn’t care about the show,” Heller said of his client, adding that “the priority should be the well-being of the family.”

Gosselin said he posted a sign outside the family home prohibiting TLC’s production crew from entering or filming on the property.

Wed for a decade, the Gosselins filed for divorce in June, after weeks of reports of marital discord and infidelities, which both spouses denied. The couple made their separation official on a “Jon & Kate” episode seen by 10.6 million viewers.

But the series, which premiered two years ago, had originally clicked with viewers for its heartwarming look at the challenges of raising eight young children.

In her statement, Kate Gosselin said, “I’m saddened and confused by Jon’s public media statements. Jon has never expressed any concerns to me about our children being involved in the show and, in fact, is on the record as saying he believes the show benefits our children and was taping on Friday with the kids.”

Jon Gosselin denied participating in the Friday taping, telling King, “I don’t know Kate’s filming schedule.”

He said he hasn’t spoken to his estranged wife in more than three weeks but that he wants to become friends with her and “figure out our marriage.”

“We know we’re not going to be husband and wife anymore, but we’re always going to be mom and dad,” Gosselin said.

On Monday, TLC announced that the weekly series would be renamed “Kate Plus Eight,” with a reduced involvement by Jon Gosselin, though he remains under “an exclusive contract” with TLC.

In her statement, Kate Gosselin said, “I do the show for my family because I believe it provides us opportunities we wouldn’t otherwise have. Jon used to share that belief until as recently as the day the network announced the name change of the show and indicated that Jon would have a lesser role in the show.”

Jon Gosselin said he wasn’t notified in advance of the show’s name change and was “totally shocked” by it.

“I found out just like everyone else, on the AP news wire,” he said. He told King repeatedly Thursday that he has made mistakes and needs to learn from them.

“I need to be a father,” he said, “and I need to take my kids off the show.”
