With his marathon performance on Broadway and fathering another child, it’s a wonder Jude Law has any strength left. But the star was making out with a hot blonde at The Box on Saturday night.
A spy reports, “Other guests were trying to talk to Jude, so he got a member of the staff to keep them away while he flirted with and kissed a very pretty blonde.” He has yet to meet his daughter, Sophia, who was born last month following his brief affair with model Samantha Burke. Law’s rep didn’t return an e-mail.

Jude Law’s baby mama, Samantha Burke, gave birth yesterday in Pensacola, Fla., a couple of weeks ahead of schedule, to their daughter, Sophia, while Law was here rehearsing “Hamlet” for Broadway. Today, Law and model/actress Lily Cole will get beamed across the ocean for the British premiere of their movie, “Rage,” in which Law plays a drag queen. From New York, Cole and Law will take questions and interact with audience members via Skype in 35 cinemas across the UK.
Jude Law’s baby mama, Samantha Burke, says she’s “excited but a little anxious” with only a month to go until her baby is born. The model/actress wrote on her blog, “There is still so much to do to get ready.” But Samantha — who promised her fans regular updates on her pregnancy — says she’ll now keep quiet until the birth. She added, “I’m going to sign off from this blog for now. Be sure to check back with me after Sophia arrives. I can’t wait!” Baby Law looks certain to overshadow Jude’s other big production, “Hamlet,” which opens on Broadway Oct. 6 — the same day Sophia is due.
Jude Law has a little love child on the way. As reporters circled yesterday, the actor’s rep released this statement to Entertainment Weekly: “Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year. Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned, but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.” Law, 36, has three kids with ex-wife Sadie Frost. He’s due on Broadway in October in “Hamlet.”
