Kate Hudson joined A-Rod in 27th heaven last night, celebrating the Yankees’ World Series win with a night on the town.

The third baseman and his “Almost Famous” arm candy were spotted at Manhattan hotspot 10ak after the game, where they partied with Derek Jeter and his girlfriend Minka Kelly, plus A-Rod’s mom, Lourdes Navarro, and his sister, Suzy, Usmagazine.com reports.

Rodriguez and Hudson “got there at 2 a.m., but Kate left after half an hour while A-Rod stayed close to 5 a.m.,” a spy tells the mag. “Minka and Derek seemed really happy, as did they all, and didn’t leave until 5 as well.”

Hudson cheered the Bronx Bombers along with her dad, Kurt Russell, at Yankees Stadium on Wednesday in a sold-out crowd that included A-list New Yorkers like Spike Lee, Donald Trump and Regis Philbin, as well as Mary J. Blige, who belted out the “Star Spangled Banner.”

Since hooking up with the All-Star player last May, Hudson has followed the 2007 MVP throughout this winning season, including away games in Miami and Toronto.

Rumor has it that she loves rounding the bases with the studly slugger.

“They love sex!” one snitch tells the mag. “They talk about it all day. Kate gets graphic talking about his body, even to her parents.”

Rodriguez is rumored to be something of a player, so he’s had plenty of bedding practice. He was photographed with a stripper while he was still married, has been linked to Madonna, and one fling remembers seeing portraits of the slugger as a centaur hanging over his bed.

But a source close to the pair claims Kate is a good influence on the pinstriped playboy.

“Kate is changing him for the better,” says the pal. “He’s less of a jerk.”

“I love my glass of wine. I love tequila,” said the seductive star, who’s gone off the booze for a film role in which she plays a terminally ill woman in love with her doctor.

“To be in New York for two weeks and not have one beverage, I’m not sure I’ve ever done that,” she told British Elle. She also dashed reports of an engagement with Alex Rodriguez, saying the mystery ring spotted on her finger was actually on her right hand.

Regardless of whether the Yankees bring home their 27th World Series title, the Bronx Bombers have given New Yorkers something to cheer about this season — thanks largely to the Diamond Dames rooting them on in the stands.

The Pinstripers play a whole lot better when their wives and girlfriends (or WAGs) show them some love. New additions like golden girl Kate Hudson have been on hand for some of the team’s best games to date.

Some kind of higher power must be watching over Alex Rodriguez in the Yanks-Angels playoff series — but he’s probably not sure which one.

A source close to the Bronx Bomber calls A-Rod a “religious chameleon” who lately has been flirting with Buddhism, thanks to girlfriend Kate Hudson.

“It’s an important part of her life,” says the insider about the religion of the slugger’s squeeze, who was raised as a Buddhist. “And it seems like Alex really just wants to make her happy.”

A spy sitting behind the blond bombshell at Yankee Stadium last Friday night (right behind the dugout, natch) says the actress even brought Buddha prayer beads with her to the game, carefully laying them across the railing in front of her seats. “It was a long strand of brown beads, and she and her friends would pick them up from time to time,” the fan said.

Her good-luck ritual must have worked. That night the Yanks crushed the Angels 4-1.

This isn’t the first time Rodriguez has gotten religious for a galpal. Previously, the heavy hitter had a stint with the ancient Jewish religion kabbalah while dating Madonna. A-Rod even went so far as to rub elbows with the sect’s NYC elite, including Kabbalah Center higher-ups Eitan Yardeni and Rabbi Michael Berg. But he left his red string and Hebrew lessons behind when he and Madge went their separate ways.

At the very least, Rodriguez’s brand-new interest in Buddhism is bound to help him hit a home run with Hudson’s family. Her mother, Goldie Hawn, is an active practitioner who has met the Dalai Lama. “Goldie more than approves of Alex,” says the insider. “If he becomes a Buddhist, it’ll only seal the deal.”

While a rep for A-Rod refused to comment and Hudson’s rep didn’t return calls, Yankee fans are sure to support anything that helps the team get into the World Series. Everybody say, “Om!”

The blond “Almost Famous” star was hailed for putting some pop in beau Alex Rodriguez’s bat as he snapped a disastrous postseason slump and the Yanks grabbed the first two games of their series with the Twins.

“A-Rod’s got his groove on,” said lifelong Bronx Bombers booster Jaren Canady, 20, an NYU biology student. “I’ll give Kate Hudson the credit for this.”

Tyrone Gray, 40, of Coney Island, agreed that Hudson’s presence worked better than extra batting practice for the three-time MVP. “A beautiful lady like that? Of course having her is an incentive,” said Gray.

Andrea Batavia, 27, of Washington Heights, said she initially feared the actress might distract A-Rod.

Wrong.

“You know how guys are,” she acknowledged. “They like to show off for their girls.”

The $275 million pinstriped slugger and the daughter of Goldie Hawn became an item during the regular season. Hudson, 30, was soon a Yankee Stadium fixture.

In Game 1 against Minnesota, with Hudson in her usual box seat, A-Rod drove in a pair of runs – but that was just a warm-up for Game 2.

Rodriguez’s dramatic two-run homer in the ninth Friday night tied the game before the Yankees won 4-3, taking a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series.

Before his first game single delivering Derek Jeter, Rodriguez hadn’t had a hit in his last 29 postseason at bats with men on base.

And last year, as his marriage disintegrated and he dated Madonna, the Yankees missed the playoffs for the first time since 1994.

Rob Gilbert, a sports psychologist and teacher at Montclair State University, said there could be a cause and effect between romance and RBI.

“Somebody once said, ‘If you want to be happy, have something to do, something to look forward to and someone to love,’” Gilbert said.

“Playing baseball takes care of the first. Maybe she takes care of the other two.”

Gregory Dale, a Duke University sports psychologist, said domestic tranquility can often boost an athlete’s performance.

“Obviously, he is most likely not thinking about it while he is in the batter’s box,” Dale said. “But it can provide an overall sense of calm and confidence that frees him up to do what he does best.”

Yankee fan David Castellano, 25, of Brooklyn, was encouraged but not completely convinced by A-Rod’s big night. “It’s only one game,” he said cautiously. “Let’s see the rest of the playoffs.”

Let’s hope Kate Hudson warned her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez before she went to work yesterday.

Because if he unexpectedly comes across these photos it might put the American baseball star off his game.

His actress lover was spotted trying on the most fairytale of gowns in New York – an over-the-top white wedding dress by British label Marchesa.

But Kate wasn’t picking her favorite. Instead she had tried on the flouncy dress for a photoshoot for fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar.

The 30-year-old teamed the dress with a traditional bunch of red roses, and a rock star slick of matching lipstick.

It was only in August that the Bride Wars star confirmed to the world she was dating Rodriguez – otherwise known as A-Rod.

Rumors had been rife for months that the divorced Hollywood actress was dating one of America’s most celebrated sportsmen.

Alex Rodriguez may be getting the best October surprise he’s ever had: Rumors have been swirling that his gal pal Kate Hudson is pregnant.

The Hollywood blond was photographed looking a teensy bit plump earlier this week, feeding the rumor mill that she’s up the duff. At the time she was snapped, Hudson was house-hunting with her Yankee lover of four months in Malibu.

But alas, Hudson’s rep, Brad Cafarelli, denies his client is expecting, which means she probably just ate a couple of extra nachos at Yankee Stadium. Apparently, A-Rod – who has two daughters with ex-wife Cynthia – didn’t score a home run this time.

The “Almost Famous” actress has shacked up with Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, spending time in his Manhattan apartment even while A-Rod is traveling with the team, according to In Touch magazine.

“Kate’s always at his New York apartment, even on the days when he’s on the road,” a Rodriguez pal told the magazine.

“She’s made herself quite comfortable in his life. She’s met his oldest daughter and her son likes Alex,” the friend said.

“Kate has become very serious about him.”

Hudson, 30, has a son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, lead singer of the Black Crowes.

Rodriguez, 34, has two kids with ex-wife Cynthia.

The ballplayer and the blonde began dating about five months ago, and Hudson has become a Yankee Stadium regular.

A-Rod split from his wife last September amid allegations of his romance with Madonna.
