Kate Hudson and fiance Matt Bellamy have a brand-new muse: Their first baby together!

The Oscar-nominated actress, 32, gave birth to a “healthy baby boy” in Los Angeles on Saturday night, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.

The little guy joins big brother Ryder, Hudson’s 7-year-old son with ex-husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.

Us Weekly was first to break news of Hudson’s second pregnancy in January 2011. She and the Muse frontman Bellamy, 33, debuted their romance in late spring 2010; they reportedly met years ago in Australia.

“He’s lovely,” Hudson (whose mom is actress Goldie Hawn) told Elle UK back in September.

After confirming her pregnancy in late January, she admitted that life was a little more chaotic with another baby on board. “I babble a lot. I forget words. And how to put sentences together,” Hudson laughs. “I just give up.”

“This is a totally different pregnancy, completely,” Hudson said in April. “It couldn’t be more opposite…With Ryder, I didn’t even have a nursery. I didn’t really have a house until I was seven months pregnant.”

Nabbing a Grammy in L.A. in February, British rocker Bellamy couldn’t help but give his love a shout-out, thanking his “beautiful pregnant girlfriend,” who watched proudly in the audience.

Hudson initially poo-pood talk of getting married again. “I don’t feel it necessary to get married,” she said on British chat show The Graham Norton Show. “I already have one child, and have had one divorce, so it is not necessarily the golden ticket. I just want to be happy.”

She clearly changed her mind — debuting a huge engagement ring (worth an estimated $200,000) and announcing her engagement to millions of viewers on The Today Show April 27. “I haven’t really announced it, I was waiting for someone to notice,” the Something Borrowed actress told Matt Lauer.

Famous pals like Courteney Cox, Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe feted the mom-to-be at a casual, family-friendly baby shower held June 5 at a private home in Malibu.

Time will tell if Hudson and Bellamy will add another to their brood — but Hudson is ready to sign up! “I love being pregnant,” she told Marie Claire last month. “Gosh, I could be pregnant all the time.”

For now, Hudson, Bellamy and the baby are expected to spend time together at Bellamy’s home in London while he records a new album, according to one source. “She’s crazy about him…Kate and Matt are so adorable together.”

Adds another insider, “she’s a great mom.”

The oh-so pregnant Kate Hudson and finance Matt Bellamy are establishing roots near Kate’s mom – actress Goldie Hawn – in a 7,000 square foot, 5-bedroom, 7-bath home in the Pacific Palisades.

The 1935 English-style home has fireplaces, oak-paneling and vaulted ceilings and it sits on a third of an acre.

Hollywood actress Kate Hudson has reportedly bought a $6.4 million home in London with her English rocker boyfriend Matt Bellamy.

The star, who is expecting a baby with the Muse frontman, recently revealed she was house hunting in the U.K. as she was keen to spend half of her time in her lover’s homeland.

She told OK! magazine, “I have a feeling I’ll probably be spending a lot more time here. I don’t know about full moves but a half move probably. I love it here but we both travel so much. I’ll be around, wandering the streets!”

And now the pair has found the perfect property in north London, which has a nursery and guest rooms for Hudson’s famous mom Goldie Hawn and her longterm partner Kurt Russell, according to Britain’s Mail on Sunday.

A source tells the publication, ‘Kate is ready to put down roots in the U.K. She is in the process of filling out visa forms that will enable her to live in England with Matt for at least six months of the year.

“Kate looks at the U.K. as a great place to raise a family. She sees herself living and working from London for the long haul.”

The Hollywood actress was spotted yesterday with an impressive portion of sweet pastries in hand as she left a a cafe in West Hollywood.

Kate looked summery in a tie-dyed skirt and loosely-fitting top, which she teamed with a pair of shades.

Earlier she enjoyed a Valentine’s Day breakfast with boyfriend Matt Bellamy after his Grammys win from last night with band Muse.

Afterwards Matt went off to do some shopping at Fred Segal while Kate stocked up on the sweet treats.

Last night Matt, 32, thanked 31-year-old Kate as his band won the Grammy for best rock album for Muse’s record The Resistance.

‘I would like to give a special thanks to my beautiful, pregnant girlfriend over there,’ he told the audience.

Hudson was cheering him on from the audience as he walked up to the stage.

Glowing Kate showed off her bump in a clinging midnight blue satin, with cut out panels down the side.

Kate has been dating Bellamy for eight months after meeting him at California’s Coachella music festival last April.

Bellamy was thrilled with his win.

‘This is a genuine surprise,’ he said. ‘It’s a great honor to be here with all the great artists who have performed here tonight and everyone who has won all the awards.’

But backstage he once again had babies on the mind.

‘That will be another surprise,’ he told Entertainment Tonight of the baby’s gender, which the couple has opted not to find out.

But not knowing if they are expecting a boy or a girl has left the couple with two names to agree on.

‘We’re starting to agree on names,’ he said. ‘Hopefully we’ll think of something last minute.’

The Almost Famous star confirmed earlier this week she’s expecting a baby with rocker boyfriend Matt Bellamy in the summer.

Hudson was determined to keep the news out of the headlines until she had passed her first trimester and remained at home in Los Angeles to prevent the paparazzi from learning her secret.

But the actress sparked concerns for her health among her friends, who thought she was ill.

Hudson tells Britain’s The Times, “My friends all thought I was depressed, because I wouldn’t leave the house. But I didn’t want anyone to know for a long time.

“I was just hoping that all of a sudden I could show up somewhere with a belly. But, of course, you’re somewhere in L.A., and somebody says something, and it ends up somewhere. And here we are.”

The blonde beauty also opens up about the pitfalls of carrying a baby, admitting: “I’m pregnant and I’m really sick! I babble a lot. I forget words. And how to put sentences together. I just give up!”

The baby will be Hudson’s second child; she already has a son, Ryder, from her relationship with ex-husband Chris Robinson.

The ‘Fool’s Gold’ actress – who is 14 weeks pregnant with her first child with the Muse rocker – reportedly held an “intimate” bash to celebrate their union with their closest friends and family at an exclusive London hotel on Monday night.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: “It was an intimate party. They kept their engagement secret as they wanted to celebrate with their nearest and dearest before it became public knowledge.”

Kate’s Hollywood icon mother Goldie Hawn, 65, was believed to be among the guests in attendance after having been in the UK to present an accolade at the British Comedy Awards on Saturday night.

However, the couple – who have been dating for around nine months – could be set to move back to the UK on a permanent basis after Matt, 32, revealed plans for all of Muse to move to London to make writing and rehearsing for the band’s next album easier.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: “We’re all thinking of moving back to London, so it’ll be the first time we’re all going to be in the same place since we were much younger.

“It’ll make rehearsing a lot easier. Maybe in summer we’ll start getting into rehearsing and writing.”

Kate already has a seven-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson.

The 31-year-old actress – who confirmed earlier this month she is pregnant with her first child with current boyfriend Matt Bellamy – has delighted her mother Goldie Hawn and stepfather Kurt Russell with the news, but they would be even happier if gives them a granddaughter.

Kurt told People magazine: “It’s fun having babies once again. And it’s fun to watch them grow. It’s fun to see what they’re grasping. I think secretly we’re all hoping for a girl.”

Goldie, 65, admitted she is “excited” about the latest addition to their family.

She said: “I’m excited, it’s exciting. You know, we’re just all very happy… happy for them both. What’s more to say?”

Kate – who has a seven-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson – has been dating the Muse rocker for around nine months and Kurt, 59, and Goldie are delighted by her latest relationship.

Kurt said: “We understand what Katie sees in him. He’s a great guy.”

Kate introduced Matt to her famous mom last July – which the 32-year-old singer admitted he was really nervous about at the time.

He said beforehand: “I’m going to meet her but I don’t want to say too much about it. I’m already nervous. I don’t want to make the whole experience even more embarrassing.”

The couple then spent this Christmas with both sets of parents, with the British singer flying his mother Marilyn and father George – who are divorced – out from their homes in Exeter, South West England to California to enjoy a big family celebration with Goldie and Kurt.

After much speculation, Kate Hudson has revealed she is expecting a baby with Muse rocker Matt Bellamy.

A spokesperson for the 31-year-old actress has confirmed the news.

The couple have been dating for around nine months after meeting at the Coachella music festival in April last year.

Kate already has a seven-year-old son called Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson.

News of Kate’s pregnancy comes in the same week her ex-boyfriend, Owen Wilson, announced he and his girlfriend are expecting too.

Kate joins a long list of celebrities who have revealed this month that they are expecting in 2011. Others include Victoria Beckham, Natalie Portman and Marion Cotillard.

The ‘Fool’s Gold’ actress and the British rock star are looking for a property in New York after dating for just four months.

The couple have been inseparable since meeting at the Coachella Festival in California earlier this year and believe the time is right to set up home.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “They’re very much in love, they just click.

“Kate’s had a place in the city for five years but she wants somewhere bigger, so Matt’s suggested pooling their resources.”

Kate wants the home to have a playroom for her six-year-old son Ryder – her child from her marriage to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson -while Matt needs a studio to make music.

The source added: “Kate wants a studio for Matt and playroom for Ryder.”

Despite being snapped in public at the start of this year at a New York eatery, Kate and Matt decided to make their first official public appearance at the Glastonbury music festival in June – at which Muse was headlining.

The 31-year-old actress watched her man perform from the side of the stage and the loved-up pair spent the rest of their time at the event partying with pals.

Matt, 32, also met Kate’s mother, actress Goldie Hawn, earlier this month and admitted he was “quite nervous” beforehand.

And he also revealed marriage wasn’t out of the question.

He said: “We just have fun together and are seeing how it goes. Kate is great.

“It’s a little bit too soon to talk about weddings and stuff. Ask me in a few months though. I’ll let you know how it goes with Goldie – and then who knows?”
