The blonde beauty – who made the video when she was 18 with ex-boyfriend Justin Frye – is “hurt” the footage is being released as a DVD, entitled ‘Kendra Exposed’, but thinks ultimately she and her NFL husband Hank Baskett will be able to teach their son six-month-old Hank Baskett IV a moral lesson from it.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest for ‘E! News’, Kendra said: “Now that this happened, it hurts, but I know it’s going to make me and Hank better parents.

“It’s really going to make us teach our child what’s right and wrong in this world. We’re going to make sure our son is raised with a good head on his shoulders, a person that has morals, that treats women with respect.”

In the wake of the news of the sex tape’s release, it was reported the couple were planning to have another child, something the former Playboy model denies.

Kendra, who turns 25 this Saturday, said: “There are rumors out there saying we want to fix our marriage by having another child – that is such cr*p.

“We’re not going to have kids just because a sex tape came out. That’s just stupid.”

The ‘Girls Next Door’ star also denied suggestions she is actually pleased the tape has come out, and that she had a role in its release by pornography company Vivid Entertainment.

She said: “I’m a very open person, very honest about my life, but a sex tape is definitely not what I wanted in my life.

“I didn’t do it out of fame, I didn’t do it for money – I did it because I was in love with him. It just sucks. It’s really embarrassing.”

Bosses at adult film distributors Vivid Entertainment are defying legal threats from Kendra Wilkinson’s attorneys after unveiling plans to release a sex tape featuring the former Playboy Playmate.

Executives at the company responsible for the release of Kim Kardashian’s famous sex tape were sent a legal notice by Wilkinson’s legal representatives at top law firm Lavely & Singer, warning them they’d be violating her right to privacy if they went ahead with the launch of the explicit footage. The busty blonde is believed to have filmed the tape with an ex-boyfriend, who has not been identified.

In the confidential letter, obtained and published by America’s OK! magazine, Wilkinson’s counsel Yael E. Holtkamp writes, “With regard to the intent… to release a video of Ms. Wilkinson engaging in sexual or other private and intimate behaviour, the Video is private and highly confidential… taken for private use and not for public disclosure.”

The notice continues, “Exploitation of the Video… shall constitute a gross violation of Miss Wilkinson’s Constitutional and common law right of privacy.”

Vivid Entertainment co-CEO Steven Hirsch is refusing to back down and is confident the sex tape was obtained lawfully.

Responding to Holtkamp’s warning In a note sent on Monday, Hirsch writes, “After reviewing our legal position, we remain confident of our right to distribute the Video. Thus Vivid.com plans to release ‘Kendra Exposed’ within the next several weeks.”

The revelation has left Hugh Hefner’s ex-girlfriend reeling after working to clean up her image following her 2009 marriage to football star Hank Bassett III and becoming a mum to a baby boy in December.

A source close to Wilkinson says, “She is devastated and humiliated. This is her worst nightmare. As a new mum and wife, this is the worst scenario she could ever imagine. It’s horrifying.”

But Wilkinson’s reps insist her legal team is not giving up the fight to keep the salacious footage private.

Her spokesperson tells OK!, “Kendra’s attorneys are evaluating and pursuing her rights. During this difficult time, Kendra and her family would greatly appreciate the respect of their privacy.”

Former Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson has dismissed suggestions she suffered postpartum depression following the birth of her son – insisting she has never been officially diagnosed with the disorder.

The reality TV star welcomed baby Hank Baskett IV, named after his football star father, in December at a hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The 24 year old recently admitted she struggled to adjust to motherhood as she was pulled into a downward spiral of post-pregnancy sadness.

She told OK! magazine, “After giving birth, I never brushed my hair, my teeth, or took a shower. I looked in the mirror one day and was really depressed. I thought, ‘Look at me.’ I had this glamorous life in L.A., and now (in Indianapolis) I didn’t. A couple of times, I even said, ‘I just have nothing to live for.’”

But Wilkinson has played down her remarks – insisting she didn’t suffer the baby blues, she was simply a new mum with worries.

She tells Eonline.com, “I’m not going to sit here and say that I had postpartum depression. I was depressed but it wasn’t diagnosed as postpartum depression. But it was depression. I know because I’ve been through therapy my whole life.”

Kendra Wilkinson took to her blog today to post a photo of an adorable sleeping baby Hank dressed head to toe in Nike.

Kendra wrote, “OMG he’s just so cute while he sleeps I couldn’t help myself!!! All I want to do is sit around and look at him all day long lolol. Love my lil jock ”
