Model turned mogul Kimora Lee Simmons and her new beau, actor Djimon Hounsou, are building a life together the only way she knows how—with “fabulosity.”

In the next edition of Page Six Magazine, free inside the New York Post on December 3, the family models for its first-ever holiday family portrait of Kimora, Djimon and kids Ming Lee, 9, Aoki Lee, 7, and 5-month-old Kenzo (in a sweater to match his dad’s) in their 40,000-square-foot Saddle River Mansion, one of the largest personal residences in the state of New Jersey.

On her life with her new husband, and the rumors that their marriage is not a legal one:
“We’re married. That’s all. It happened in Africa, in Benin. The girls were there, and we had a wonderful time. It was very calm, family-motivated and spiritual. Djimon and I enjoy discussing anything from politics to wine, and we have enriching, private, happy, balanced lives together. That’s probably the thing that would shock people most: We do things like go to the grocery store and have fun with our kids. We’re a normal family, doing the best we can.”

On being a self-made entrepreneur and independent woman:
“It’s absolutely true! Do I need anything from [Djimon]?” No. I focus on my kids. I work my butt off. That might be one high-maintenance thing about me: My schedule is always crazy. So am I up and on the phone early in the morning? Yes. Is that sometimes annoying? Yes. But I hold my weight emotionally in a relationship. At times, sure, if you’re down and I’m up, and I can lend you a hand, or vice versa, great. I’m a very supportive partner.”

On making time for her children:
“My family is the most important thing to me. I’ve never missed any type of performance—not one recital, not one karate belt. If there’s a toe being tapped or a tune being whistled, I am there. We do everything together. I know we live a little bit of a different life, with all the running around and the TV show, so I want to make sure we’re even more grounded.”

On hosting a traditional Christmas at home with her family:
“I bake. I make a great German chocolate cake. Anyone who knows me will tell you I’m a great baker, the best. When I bake something, I swear to god, it’s gone before it hits the plate.”

Kimora Lee Simmons reveals — maybe more than she intended — the dynamics of her failed marriage to Russell Simmons in the next Page Six Magazine, free inside The Post on Thursday.

Asked about reports that Russell generously gives her $40,000 a month in child support for their two daughters, Kimora snapped, “I hate that. He has such a big mouth. It drives me crazy, and it makes me want to thump him in the side of his head . . . It’s not accurate.”

The Baby Phat designer, her new husband, Djimon Hounsou, and the kids — Ming Lee, 9, Aoki Lee, 7, and 5-month-old Kenzo — posed for a family portrait at their Saddle River, NJ, mansion.

According to on-set sources, Tyra Banks’ CW beauty contest (which is experiencing the lowest ratings of its 13 seasons) will get a helping hand from none other than Banks’ on-again, off-again frenemy, Kimora Lee Simmons, who Tyra has recruited to serve as a judge next season.

Apparently, the divas have remained friends despite rumors that Kimora was fired after her appearance on the show’s first season.

The same can’t be said for Tyra’s other former co-hosts Janice Dickinson (seasons one to four) and Paulina Porizkova (who survived only seasons 10 to 12).

Both ex-models have spoken out about their tumultuous relationship with TyTy, insinuating that she was difficult to work with. “Tyra is obsessed with people’s perception of her and was not happy when Porizkova and Dickinson said they didn’t get along,” says a network source, adding that Tyra’s uncomfortable interview with “Nightline’s” Cynthia McFadden (who questioned her in September about rumored catfights) only fueled Tyra’s rage.

“So Tyra called Kimora to prove the notion [that she doesn't work well with others] wrong,” the source adds. A CW spokesman would say only: “Not true.”

Kimora, who will fill the seat occupied by celebrity guest judges like Kim Kardashian, Chanel Iman and Jessica White, won’t be the only Type A personality on the bench: Word is that fan favorite J. Alexander is getting bounced back to his original role as runway coach and will be replaced by Vogue editor at large Andre Leon Talley.

“No one is sure why Miss J has been demoted from being a judge back to just doing the runway coaching,” continues the source.

The shots of mother, child and father Djimon Hounsou were sold to OK! magazine, where an insider declined to say how much it paid for them — but laughed off a tip we’d gotten that it was under $10,000. That amount “is laughable and untrue. That wouldn’t cover her weekly salon bill.” The insider also claimed, “OK! was involved in discussions with Kimora about the baby photos from the day she announced her pregnancy.”
