La Toya Jackson will take to the stage for the first time in 20 years next month when she performs at a tribute show for her late brother Michael in Britain.

The Thriller hitmaker’s sister has not sung in public since the 1990s, but she’s preparing to jet to Wales to join stars including the Black Eyed Peas and Christina Aguilera at the Michael Forever concert in Cardiff on 8 October.

La Toya wants to celebrate her brother’s legacy, and she admits she’s looking forward to taking time out from attending Dr. Conrad Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial, which began in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Murray is accused of administering the fatal dose of anaesthetic Propofol, which cost Jackson his life in 2009.
She says, “There will never be another magical moment such as this to celebrate Michael with his fans.

“In speaking with my mother yesterday, I asked her where she thinks Michael would rather have us be – in this courtroom filled with negativity and lies, or on a stage celebrating his music, his legacy and his life.

“She said without a second of thought, ‘Celebrating his life with family and fans’. I am looking forward to putting on a great show and making my brother proud.”

La Toya talks about what happened in the hospital the day Michael died, how his three children reacted
and why she thinks Michael was murdered.

Michael Jackson’s sister La Toya might be getting her dancing shoes on for the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars.” After her superstar brother’s death in June, La Toya is in talks with ABC and is thinking about joining the show.

Sources tell Us Weekly that La Toya has been approached by producers to join the cast, which in the past has included celebrities like Billy Ray Cyrus, Steve-O and Lil’ Kim. “[La Toya is] in serious discussions to join the show,” a source told the Web site, adding that La Toya has gotten a firm offer from the show.

If she agrees, she would be one of the contestants on the ninth season of the popular dance competition. “She’s a big fan of the show,” her rep told Us. “And being from a musical family, it would be a good fit.”

La Toya made headlines earlier this summer when she gave a paid interview to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, claiming Michael was murdered. “I believe Michael was murdered, I felt that from the start,” the Mail quoted La Toya as saying in the interview. “Not just one person was involved; rather it was a conspiracy of people.”

She added that at the time of Michael’s death, she thought “he was surrounded by a bad circle. Michael was a very meek, quiet, loving person. People took advantage of that. People fought to be close to him, people who weren’t always on his side.”
