Lady looks like a dude.

Gaga goes in drag for the cover image of her next single, “You and I.”

But she’s not just any guy, Lady Gaga is portraying Jo Calderone, a male alter-ego she and her stylist Nicola Formichetti created. The singer debuted him on the cover of Japan’s Vogue Homme last year.

“You will never find what you are looking for in love, if you don’t love yourself,” Gaga tweeted along with the cover image.

“You and I,” the fourth single from “Born This Way,” features Queen’s Brian May on guitar and was produced by Shania Twain’s ex-husband “Mutt” Lange.

The lyrics were inspired by Gaga’s on-and-off relationship with New York City bartender Lüc Carl.

“I wouldn’t have been as successful without him,” Gaga has said of Carl. “I’ve never really loved anyone like I loved him. Or like I love him. That relationship really shaped me. It made me into a fighter.

“After I broke up with him, I promised myself I would never love again and would make him rue the day he doubted me. But then I again moved back to him. [It was] love.”

The video for the song will reflect Gaga and Carl’s relationship. In it, she runs from New York City to Nebraska, Carl’s home state, to get him back.

It will be released once Gaga hits 1,000 tweets. Currently, she’s at 992.

Grand Central Publishing announced Thursday that it will release the book, “Lady Gaga,” on Nov. 22. The publisher said the book will include more than 350 color and black-and-white photographs of Gaga.

Richardson followed the singer for 10 months between Aug. 2010 and Feb. 2011. That time period includes Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour and the recording of her album “Born This Way.”

Lady Gaga will write the book’s forward.

On Thursday, the pop star surpassed 12 million followers on Twitter.

Fast rising internet food sensation PigofTheMonth.com officially put in a bid today for Lady Gaga to wear their one of a kind Couture BBQ Rib dress to MTV’s 2011 Video Music Awards to the tune of slightly over half a million dollars. The sexy couture piece is made up of bones from their mouth watering Gourmet BBQ ribs and is a vision that the company cannot wait to reveal and refer to as “Breathtaking Bone Art.” The company has teamed up with a well-known fashion designer whose designs have graced the runways of NY, London and Paris for the creative design not to be revealed until the VMA’s if Lady Gaga does accept. The campaign would be the first step in PigofTheMonth.com’s “Bones for Hunger” marketing campaign where dollars are donated to starving artists for each rack of ordered and eaten bones people mail back to them. The dress is expected to launch a spectrum of look alike trends after it has been debuted and will also be auctioned off following the debut to also benefit charity.

“This is the opportunity for the dress to be viewed by millions of people at once. The amount of time and detail that has been placed into this couture piece has really been worth it and it is absolutely breathtaking. It was custom made to fit Lady Gaga’s unique style.” States Pigofthemonth.com Marketing Director Janice Bing.

“Our new marketing campaign is unique and original and those are the qualities that Lady Gaga continuously portrays. We definitely want her associated with the project.” Lady Gaga is well known for her previous appearance at the VMA’s in her unique Meat Dress. The talented artist is up for three Moonmen this year: Best Female Video for “Born This Way” and Best Art Direction and Best Choreography for “Judas.”

Pigofthemonth.com’s hope is that her first look this year will definitely include their dress which clocks in at a an hour to get into, close all clasps, attach bones to bosom for an elegant “How is that staying on her” appeal. Accessories to and makeup planned for the dress include actual gourmet sauces sold by PigoftheMonth.com to create a sassy, literally saucy, slightly dramatic gore feel.

“We expect a slight push back from PETA States Pigofthemonth.com Marketing Director Janice Bing. “However these are ribs that were already eaten. When you do something as spectacular and breathtaking as this there will always be a few people that simply do not agree.”

The 25-year-old singer – who has experienced hair loss because of how often she has dyed her tresses – has started using Rogaine in order to reverse the years of damage she has subjected her locks to in the name of fashion.

A source is quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying: “Over the years Lady Gaga has put her locks under a lot of stress. She’s poured so much chemicals over them that it’s damaged her follicles.

“She’s hoping by using Rogaine, she can repair some of the harm.”

The ‘Born This Way’ hitmaker reportedly first started worrying about her hair while on her epic ‘Monster Ball Tour’.

A source claims Gaga went ballistic backstage because whenever she “dragged a comb through her frazzled, bleached tresses, there was hair everywhere – in the comb, on the floor, in her hands”.

The pop superstar – who is famous for her collection of wigs including a wool-like up do and a waist-length blonde wig – has previously spoken about the effects of dying her naturally brunette locks blonde.
She said: “[I had to] get a chemical haircut because my blonde hair is falling out.”

The ‘Edge of Glory’ hitmaker was targeted by internet imposters, who accessed the email addresses and names of a number of the fans on her database.

However, no passwords or financial information was taken from the site.

A statement from Universal Music said: “The hacker took a content database dump and a section of email, first and last name records were accessed. There were no passwords taken and no financial information taken.”

The record label has now contacted the people whose details were accessed and informed the police,

Information Commissioner’s Office and the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), which represents the music sector.

Just last week, Lady Gaga’s YouTube account was shut down amid a copyright infringement claim from a Japanese TV channel.

The 25-year-old singer recently broke down in tears, saying she thinks people are “trying to destroy” her.

In a black and white YouTube video, she sobbed: “Sometimes I still feel like people are trying to destroy me … I cannot be destroyed and I will not be destroyed. And you will never destroy the kingdom that is my fans.”

Even one of online video’s biggest stars isn’t immune to copyright claims.

Lady Gaga’s YouTube account was suspended Thursday. The notice read that the suspension was due to “multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s copyright policy.”

By late Thursday, the account had been restored, much to the glee of Gaga’s Little Monsters.

The Google Inc.-owned YouTube declined to comment. It’s YouTube policy to remove accounts after three copyright violations.

Reports have suggested that the infringing video was a recently uploaded clip of Gaga’s performance on Fuji TV. Messages left with Gaga’s publicist and record label, Interscope, weren’t immediately returned Thursday.

The account, “ladygagaofficial,” is one of two for Gaga. The removed channel is run by Gaga’s camp, while she also has an unaffected Vevo account.

The Vevo account, which has more than 1.6 billion views, generally debuts her music videos. Co-owned by Universal Music Group and Sony Entertainment, Vevo is a music video platform that also distributes videos on YouTube.

On Thursday, Gaga’s HBO concert special “Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden” earned five Emmy Award nominations.

The ‘Born This Way’ hitmaker is the subject of a lawsuit alleging she deliberately inflated the cost of shipping and handling of the ‘We Pray for Japan’ bracelets – which were being sold for $5, plus $3.99 for shipping and handling, and 60 cents for taxes – in order to profit from the charitable venture, which was initiated to raise money for the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

On Gaga’s website it stated that all proceeds from the sale of the ‘We Pray For Japan’ wristbands were going to the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

Ari Kresch, an attorney with Michigan-based 1-800-LAW-FIRM, said: “I’m suing Lady Gaga simply to hold her accountable for giving the money that she was raising for charity to the cause that she was trying to raise it for.”

The attorneys claim they have contacted Gaga’s representatives, who refused to disclose how much money is being “retained” by the star from the sales.

Alyson Oliver explained: “When you use your celebrity and your power as a musician to take money from people under false pretences, that’s just wrong.

“When we tried to communicate with the defendants in this lawsuit, all we got was, ‘Well, some of the money is being retained, but we don’t really know how much’, is the essence of the response that we got.

“If the money were going to the right place rather than into the defendant’s pocket, then I hope that our effort helps that.”

Gaga is still selling the wristbands on her website and it is alleged that she has now violated consumer protection laws in every US state.

In addition, some fans have complained that they have not received their wristbands yet.
