Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner chided Lohan on Thursday for having rooftop parties at her home while serving house arrest on a probation violation but said the actress hadn’t violated any other rules.

“If you are guilty of some violation of your probation, I don’t see it,” Sautner said. “What you are guilty of is extremely poor judgment.”

Lohan tearfully hugged her attorney, Shawn Holley, after the hearing.

Earlier, the actress told Sautner she wanted to put her court troubles behind her.

“Do you want to get on with your life, tell me,” Sautner asked.

“Yes, I do,” Lohan replied. It was the only time she spoke during the hearing.

The judge said Lohan didn’t violate her probation by testing positive for alcohol during a recent test. The testing requirement, imposed by another judge, ended in February.

Holley said after the hearing that Lohan, 24, had undergone more scrutiny than any other defendant and has been abiding by the terms of her sentence.

“She has done nothing wrong,” Holley said, noting that alcohol is not illegal.

Some of the parties at Lohan’s home in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles were photographed by paparazzi.

“Don’t give people a reason to hate you,” Sautner told her. “Don’t do stupid things that fly in the face of the court’s order.”

Sautner said Lohan can only have one friend over at her house at a time but can host family and business associates.

Sautner ordered Lohan to appear in court on July 21, but said she wouldn’t incur any additional penalties if she abided by the terms of her probation.

Sautner is the fifth judge to handle Lohan’s case since she was arrested twice in 2007. In April, Lohan was found in violation of her probation for taking a necklace without permission.

Lohan is nearing the end of what is expected to be a 35-day term on house arrest on a four-month jail sentence. Sautner made clear she didn’t approve of the house arrest or Lohan’s early release, but noted it was out of her control.

All of Lohan’s jail stints have been shortened due to jail overcrowding.

Her house arrest has been far from uneventful – authorities went to the actress’ home four days after she began her sentence on May 26 because her ankle monitor reported being out of range.

The battery in Lohan’s ankle monitor was going bad, authorities determined, but also noted in a probation report that she had hosted friends the night before and one of them had spilled a drink on some of the equipment.

It’s back to court for Lindsay Lohan.

The troubled actress is due in a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday so a judge can determine whether she violated the terms of her probation on a 2007 drunken driving case.

The district attorney’s spokeswoman says her office hasn’t yet received information on the potential violation by Lohan.

Sandi Gibbons says the issue relates to Lohan’s DUI case and not a misdemeanor theft case the actress resolved with a no-contest plea in May.

The hearing comes as Lohan nears the end of what was expected to be a 35-day stint on house arrest for violating her probation by taking a necklace from a store without permission.

Lohan’s spokesman, Steve Honig, declined to comment on what prompted the hearing.

Despite being stuck inside for the next few weeks as part of her latest sentencing, Lindsay Lohan continues to fuel her hunger to shop by scoring great deals on BEEZID.com, a top rated penny auction website which offers a thrilling spin on online auction shopping with unbelievable deals on brand new, brand name products from consumer electronics, cars, lifestyle & fashion, video games and more. In fact, LiLo is such a fan of the site she recently shot an endorsement video in her living room.

“Hey to all of my friends, I just wanted to share with you a great website with amazing deals that I discovered during my time at home and it’s called Beezid.com. Be sure to check it out!”

Lindsay Lohan’s attorney says the actress’s electronic monitoring bracelet has been replaced after a malfunction.

Attorney Shawn Holley said Thursday that Lohan’s electronic monitoring system went off on Monday.

Holley says a representative from the monitoring company went to Lohan’s house in Venice and found her at home. The bracelet was replaced the next day.

Lohan was arrested twice for driving under the influence in 2007, and remains on probation for offenses. She is serving about 35 days of house arrest for violating her probation by taking a necklace without permission.

Dave Leone, bureau chief of adult services for Los Angeles County’s probation department, says private companies sometimes contract with the county to oversee electronic monitoring. He did not comment on Lohan’s case.

Lindsay Lohan just can’t catch a break.

The 24-year-old was left red faced in Miami Beach yesterday when her bikini top fell down while she was frolicking in the surf.

She attempted to preserve her modesty by wrapping her arms across her chest but she failed to cover up the wardrobe malfunction.

The Mean Girls star did her best to laugh off the moment as she emerged from the sea.

Lindsay Lohan has won a temporary restraining order against a man she says sent her delusional phone text messages and believes he has a romantic relationship with her, a court spokeswoman said.

David Cocordan left boxes of heart shaped chocolates at Lohan’s home and magazine articles about the actress with his own name scrawled on them, Lohan said in a court filing.

He has contacted the 24 year-old “Freaky Friday” actress with more than 100 unwanted phone calls and text messages since 2009, according to the court papers.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted the restraining order against Cocordan on Thursday and set a June 8 court hearing to decide if it should be made permanent.

Cocordan could not be reached for comment.

Police believe Cocordan is schizophrenic and that he is not taking his medication, Lohan said in the court papers. He believes he is engaged to marry her and sends sexually explicit messages.

Lohan, once considered one of Hollywood’s most promising talents, was sentenced this month to four months in jail after pleading no contest to a charge of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Los Angeles store.

She is expected to serve only 16-17 days of her sentence — most likely under house arrest — starting in mid-June.

Lohan has barely been out of the news for four years due to repeated trips to jail, drug rehabilitation and courtrooms.

Lindsay Lohan is set to make a fresh start by hiring a new publicist and reportedly landing a major role in the upcoming mob film ‘Gotti: Three Generations’.

Lindsay Lohan has hired Hollywood publicist Steve Honig to oversee all of her future public relations matters.

Honig is the President of The Honig Company and has over twenty years experience of handling issues related to the ‘Mean Girls’ actress. Honig will be the first official publicist to represent Lindsay after she parted ways with her former PR manager, Leslie Sloane, several years ago. Honig’s existing clients include Fiore Films, the same company that is currently producing the Gotti biopic about the former head of the Gambino crime family.

The movie’s director Barry Levinson may offer the starlet some good news after telling EW that he didn’t mean to rule her out of the role as Victoria Gotti ‘definitively’. He stated: ‘Someone asked me about Lindsay Lohan and I said: ‘To be honest with you, right now I’m so busy that I have to go and sit down and write the piece’. I know her name has been mentioned in relation to it, but right now my focus is simply to write it, as opposed to dealing with the specifics of her in the role or whatever’. For now, it may seem that she is still involved as Producer Marc Fiore issued a statement stating that Lohan will be in the film, ‘despite reports to the contrary’.

The actress is currently on a three year probation after being sentenced to a 120 day prison sentence as well as 480 hours of community service over the theft of a stolen $2,500 necklace.

Paris Hilton has publicly apologised to her former pal Lindsay Lohan after poking fun at the actress’ latest legal woes on her new reality TV show.

Lohan stands accused of stealing a necklace from a California jewellery store back in January. She has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor, but was sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service last month after a judge ruled her arrest on the charge broke the terms of her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI case.

The Mean Girls star’s troubles became a talking point this week when a clip from Hilton’s new program, The World According to Paris, hit the internet. In the footage, Hilton is heard making a jibe about Lohan’s problems as she visits a homeless shelter and hands over a pair of earrings to one woman, who mistakes her for the troubled star.

The woman tells Hilton, “I’m going to give them to my sister as soon as I get back to Oklahoma and I’m going to tell them that Lindsay (gave them to me)… I thought you were supposed to be in rehab?”

Realising the identity mix-up, Hilton responds, “I’m not Lindsay!”, before joking about Lohan and adding in a voiceover: “If I were Lindsay, I’d be stealing the earrings, not giving them away.”

But now the hotel heiress has seen the error of her ways and apologized for the comments, telling TMZ.com, “I apologize to Lindsay for the comment that I made. I was joking around but it was thoughtless and unnecessary… I am reaching out to Lindsay so I can tell her myself.”
