Is Madonna trying to keep up with her 23-year-old boy toy, Jesus Luz?

The 51-year-old reportedly shelled out $75,000 for a machine that claims to be “a miracle cure” for cellulite; it supposedly exiles dimpling through the use of acoustic shock waves.

Madge is certainly the ideal candidate for the mechanism: manufacturers suggest users already possess “good muscle tone.”

It was a poignant moment, but the significance of which may not be recognised by the four-year-old girl adopted by Madonna at just this moment.

Mercy James joined her mother and sister Lourdes as she returned to Malawi for the ceremony to lay the first brick for the foundations of a $10 million school for girls in the impoverished country.

The brick had the inscription Raising Malawi Academy for Girls and the motto Dare to Dream etched into it.

‘It has always been my dream to train women leaders who can help develop the country,’ Madonna said during the event.

The ceremony, held at the site of the school in Chinkhota village, some 9 miles from the capital Lilongwe, was attended by education officials and curious villagers.

‘I grew up as a poor girl with my mother, I had no chance for good education. It is my aim to see Malawian girls get the right education,’ Madonna said.

Yesterday the pop queen marked the unveiling a new water pump in the Mchinji district of Malawi as part of her charity tour.

And her healthy presence at the event, in a crisp red summer dress and pristine white sandals, was a sign of how far she has come in the months since her adoption.

Cuddling up to her mother, and then her sister, Lourdes, 13, Mercy later watched as her adopted mother pumped fresh water into a bucket to the delight of locals in the district where adopted brother David, four, was born.

Madonna has given millions to the impoverished country, where four in ten live on less than a dollar a day.

Dressed in heavy black boots, the pop queen lent a hand at the UN-backed Millenium Village in the southeast African republic’s capital LiLongwe.

Today she will lay the first brick of her £10million school, Raising Malawi Academy for Girls.

But while the villagers might have been glad to have clean running water, the pop queen herself opted for the fizzy stuff, carrying a bottle of what looked like Coca-Cola.

Madonna snubs normal drinking water in favour of special ‘Kaballah water’ as part of her membership of the trendy religious movement.

It has been reported she spends $10,000 a month on the water, which she believes has special healing properties.

It is Madonna’s first visit to Malawi since she controversially adopted a second Malawian child, Mercy James, last year.

The little girl’s grandmother claimed she had been ‘stolen’ from the family and Madonna was criticised for using a private jet to fly exercise machines, expensive wines and a personal trainer into the impoverished country at a cost of tens of thousands of pounds.

Madonna, who has spent millions to help fight poverty in the country, was also accused of using her money and influence to circumvent Malawian law, which stipulates that foreigners must be resident in Malawi for 18 months before adopting a child.

She adopted David Banda from an orphanage in 2006 when he was 18 months old despite opposition from his biological father Yohane Banda.

Mr Banda complained the following year that he had only been allowed to see his son once since the adoption.

Madonna has pumped millions into the impoverished southern African country, where four in ten people live on less than a dollar a day and the life expectancy is just 41.

Madonna may as well have put a ring on it as far as Jesus Luz is concerned.

“I consider myself a married man,” the 23-year-old told Brazilian mag RG Vogue.

“At my age, my father was also married.” While the model doesn’t have any children, Madge’s four kids might as well be his own.

“I have a family,” the hunk says, adding that age ain’t nothin’ but a number. “My mother gave birth to me when she was 15.”

Madonna doesn’t think a wife should withhold sex from a sloppy husband.

But she believes a wife should dispose of her late husband’s prosthetic leg to spare the feelings of the wife’s current mate.

This was some of Madonna’s relationship advice on NBC’s “The Marriage Ref,” where she joined actor-comedians Larry David and Ricky Gervais as a guest panelist on Thursday’s edition.

The show invites its panel of “experts” to help analyze real-life disputes between married couples, mostly for laughs. Host Tom Papa, aka The Marriage Ref, makes the final call.

In one case, Mindy Goldman was offering sexual favors to Alan, her husband of 28 years, if he would clean up their messy basement.

A good idea? “I think it’s weird that she wants him to be clean so that they can be dirty,” cracked Madonna.

Gervais wondered, “Could they combine the sex with the housework?”

Then Susan and David Harper, married for three years, were seen in their house squabbling over possessions left over from their past relationships. Susan wanted her husband to get rid of the sofa where David and his ex-wife might have had hanky-panky, while David complained about Susan hanging on to the ashes and prosthetic leg of Don, her late husband.

Madonna’s swift solution: “He gets rid of the couch, she gets rid of the leg.”

“This is easily the most uncomfortable hour I’ve ever spent in my life,” sighed Larry David in the midst of the debate.

“Why?” Madonna retorted. “Because you’re sitting next to a woman who’s standing up to you?”

“The Marriage Ref,” which premiered last week, has Jerry Seinfeld as a creator and producer.

Madonna has teamed up with her teenage daughter to create a fashion line for young women.

The pop superstar is launching her own style empire, called MG Icon, and she is making her first venture, a juniors line, a family affair by inviting 13-year-old Lourdes to help her create the designs.

The Material Girl brand will hit shelves at U.S. department store chain Macy’s in August 2010 and will include clothing, footwear and accessories.

Madonna will add beauty and fragrance products to the Material Girl range next year.

A statement from Madonna reads, “Joining forces with (clothing makers) Iconix to bring my fashion ideas to consumers is very exciting for me. I look forward to working… to create and translate my vision and ideas for MG Icon.”

Madonna has previously designed a 2007 fashion line for high street retailer H&M. She was due to team up with Los Angeles-based fashion mogul Christian Audigier last year but pulled out of plans at the last minute.

Madonna’s toy boy Jesus Luz has signed a record deal.

The ’4 Minutes’ singer has used her sizeable influence to help the Brazilian model launch a pop career, and has even agreed to allow her former label Warner Brothers to use some of her iconic back catalogue in adverts in return for signing him.

Jesus’ first single, entitled ‘We Came From Light’, will be released in the summer – the same time a handful of Madonna’s classic songs, including ‘Vogue’ and ‘Like A Prayer’, will be licensed for a major advertising campaign in the US.

A source said: “Madonna was determined to give Jesus all the help she can. She holds a lot of sway at Warners, where she had a deal until very recently. But getting him on the books wasn’t completely plain-sailing. There was a little give and take between her and execs, but a compromise was eventually settled upon.”

The 51-year-old pop superstar – who has been in an on/off relationship with 23-year-old Jesus for over a year – has also drafted in the expertise of the legendary house music producer Victor Calderone.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: “Madonna really wants Jesus’ career to take off. She’s been going through her Filofax and putting him in contact with as many of her influential pals as she can.

“She’s worked with Victor for a very long time and he understands just what she likes. Having him work on Jesus’ tracks will give them a cool cachet which is essential to building a clubland buzz.”

The 51-year-old is directing and writing ‘W.E’ – which will tell the story of the relationship between Britain’s King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson – and is hoping the former ‘Doctor Who’ actor will take on the role of the monarch, who sensationally abdicated the British throne to live with the American divorcee in 1936.

A source said: “Madonna’s interest in directing a drama was first revealed a year ago.

“She put it on hold while going through her divorce but is really keen to get into directing again and has her eye on David, having loved his work on ‘Doctor Who’.”

Madonna, 51, was originally planning to play the part of Wallis, but has since reconsidered and is in talks with Best Supporting Actress Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga.

Madonna’s only other directing credit is 2008′s ‘Filth and Wisdom’, which starred Richard E. Grant and Eugene Hutz, although she has served as a writer on documentary ‘I Am Because We Are’.

The ‘Hung Up’ singer’s own acting career has been wildly inconsistent with panned performances in a host of movies, including ‘Swept Away’ and ‘Body of Evidence’, but critically acclaimed appearances in musical ‘Evita’ and ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’

‘W.E’ is still in pre-production and has a preliminary release date of 2011.

It’s only been a few days since Jesus Luz called off his May-December romance with Madonna.

While the superstar singer, 51, is keeping a low profile, it appears the 23-year-old model is relishing his newfound freedom in his homeland Brazil.

The handsome DJ was spotted showing off his impressive physique as he paraded up and down Ipanema beach in Rio De Janeiro yesterday.

Luz was spotted lounging about on the sand chatting to his friends, including a mystery female companion.

As temperatures soared to 34C, Luz headed for the beach shower to cool down, to the joy of admiring female fans.

The model has spent the past two weeks in Brazil, while mother-of-four Madonna has been spotted in New York and London.

Apparently, Luz prompted the end of the couple’s one year romance after realising they had nothing in common.

Friends of the pair were amazed their relationship lasted so long due to their 28 year age gap.

A source told the Chicago Sun-Times: ‘It was not only totally amicable, but it was Luz who initiated the split.’

Another insider told the Daily Mirror: ‘They are in different places in their lives. It’s the age-gap, he’s 23 and she is 51.

‘How long could it last? How it even lasted a year seems a miracle to a lot of people. They had nothing to talk about. It’s pretty much over now.’

The couple were last seen together in New York in the first week of January, but both have been kept apart in recent weeks due to their work commitments on different continents.

Madonna and Luz met at a photoshoot for W magazine in December 2008 – just three months after the singer split from second husband Guy Ritchie.

Since dating Madonna, Luz’s modelling career has been heavily boosted and he has also start DJing after she paid for him to have lessons.

In November, Luz took Madonna home to Brazil to meet his mother Cristiane Regina da Silva, who was awkwardly 14 years younger than the pop star.

Madonna – who already raises four children – wants to have another baby with her Brazilian boyfriend Jesus Luz.

Madonna wants to have another baby.

The 51-year-old ‘Celebration’ singer is reportedly going to start trying to conceive with her Brazilian model boyfriend Jesus Luz – who she has been dating for around two years.

A friend of Madonna – who already has four children, Lourdes, 13, Rocco, nine, and adopted Malawian tots David and Mercy, who are both four – told The Sun newspaper: “She says motherhood is her greatest achievement and the most fulfilling thing in her life.

“She knows that, at 51, it’s going to be harder to conceive naturally. But she is Olympic-athlete fit and is ready for the challenge.”

Jesus, 22, is said to be as keen to have a baby as his pop superstar lover.

They said: “Jesus is very religious and deeply in love with her. He adores her kids but has always wanted a child of his own. He told her fatherhood would be his greatest adventure and that he wanted to go on this journey for her.”

However, Madonna is unlikely to make him her third husband, with Jesus previously saying he was not ready to get married.

He said: “There’s no truth in this rumour. I am too young to get married.”
