There’s nothing like an eye catching campaign to highlight a worthy cause.

And designer Marc Jacobs has certainly managed it with this new revealing photograph of Victoria’s Secret model Marisa Miller.

The model wears nothing except a pair of baseball boots in the image, designed to create awareness for Jacobs’ skin cancer awareness campaign ‘Protect The Skin You’re In.’

The image of the 32-year-old Miller will appear on T-shirts which will be available at Marc Jacobs boutiques, with all proceeds benefiting the NYU Cancer Institute.

And it’s a cause close to the model’s heart.

‘Make up artists have told me that my skin looks better now than when I was 24,’ she said earlier this year.

‘We have so many great products now that there’s no reason to put yourself at risk for a tan.’

But Miller, who came third in this year’s FHM magazine’s Sexiest Women In The World poll, isn’t the first to have stripped down to their birthday suit for the designer’s campaign.

It has also featured the likes of Heidi Klum, Helena Christensen, Dita Von Teese, Naomi Campbell and Victoria Beckham all baring all for the cause.

‘Since we moved to California I have realised how important it is to practise safe sun for myself and to keep my three boys’ skin well protected as well. Skin cancer is a huge problem and I really wanted to help raise awareness by taking part in Marc’s initiative,’ Victoria has said of her decision to take part.

Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Marisa Miller is teaming up with yet another legendary sports organization: the National Football League.

The supermodel has signed on as the spokesperson for the NFL’s 2010-2011 season, The Hollywood Reporter confirms.

“I’m so excited to have this incredible opportunity to partner with the NFL,” Miller says. “I’ve grown up watching football my whole life.”

The “SuperFan” will be promoting the league’s special events, including the October 31 International Series game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos in London, airing on CBS.

“Marisa’s love for the NFL and our sport made her ideally suited for this role,” said Chris Parsons, NFL vice president of international. “We look forward to working with her.”

A longtime 49ers fan, Miller will appear in both print and commercial ads for the league. The print campaign features Miller in vintage 49ers and Broncos gear to promote the overseas game.

“Going to the U.K. for this game is going to be a blast,” the former Victoria’s Secret model says. “I’m looking forward to helping gain new fans and show them how incredible the game of American football is!”

When it comes to a flawless figure, Marisa Miller comes pretty close – however the Victoria’s Secret super model insisted that she’s had to work her booty off big-time to get back in bikini shape since getting married to Hollywood producer Griffin Guess just over three years ago.

“I put on a lot of weight after getting married. My husband is really tall and skinny and can eat whatever he wants,” she told Tarts at a recent Victoria’s Secret event poolside at Westwood’s W Hotel. “Of course I thought I could eat whatever I want to, but no, it doesn’t work like that.”

So how did Ms. Miller drop those post-nuptial pounds to grace the cover to Sports Illustrated last year and be named number one on Maxim’s 2008 “Hot 100”?

“Luckily I have a lot of motivation with my job, its important to do something everyday. Every time you can you should do something because it’s really hard to get into summer and then play a whole bunch of catch-ups. I travel with resistance bands, I box a lot, I spin and I surf – I try to mix it up and make it fun so my body doesn’t get bored,” she said. “But it is good to keep the curves, it’s not about being super skinny.”

But believe it or not, when Miller first started out in the modeling industry, those killer curves were actually a disadvantage (she said the stylists would tape down her bountiful breasts for photo shoots) and it’s taken a long time for the blonde bombshell to overcome her insecurity issues and embrace her God-given body.

“Growing up I was incredibly shy, I was such a tomboy. I was always wearing baggy pants and big t-shirts. I was really, really self-conscious of my body,” the 31-year-old added. “So a lot has changed for me personally and Victoria’s Secret has really helped with that. We all have things we’re self-conscious about, I’m not the tallest model in the world and when I started having curves it was really hard for me.”
