Hayden Panettiere is reportedly dating Mark Sanchez.

The ‘Scream 4′ actress – who recently split with her heavyweight champion boxer boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko after 18 months – was spotted with the 24-year-old New York Jets quarterback in Laguna Hills, Caliornia yesterday where they visited In-N-Out Burger with another couple.

A source said: “They seemed very close and very happy. When they walked out of the fast food restaurant, Mark was flashing a huge smile.”

Hayden, 21, and 35-year-old Wladimir – who was raised in the Ukraine but is based in Hamburg, Germany – recently revealed their break-up was caused by the pressures of having a long distance relationship.

Hayden said: “While we decided to split, we feel great sympathy and respect for each other and will surely stay close friends.”

Wladimir added: “We had a great time together. But more and more we saw how difficult it is to maintain a relationship when living on two continents . I cherish Hayden as a person and woman. I’m sure we will stay friends.”

Wladimir – whose brother Vitali Klitschko is also a world champion boxer – is currently in training for his heavyweight title unification bout with British fighter David Haye which takes place at the Imtech Arena in Hamburg, Germany, on July 2.

Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez really seems to be fond of alluring Hayden Panettiere.

The two were spotted Wednesday night at Beacher’s Madhouse in LA, where they shared cocktails and whispered to each other. A witness said, “They were clearly trying to hide their affection. They used their friends as a buffer, but it didn’t work so well.”

Panettiere was also seen chatting away with Sanchez at a party in LA in February, and the two partied together with other friends in Vegas two weeks ago. Sanchez seems to have a type: pretty, blond and feminine.

Panettiere even looks similar to 17-year-old high schooler Eliza Kruger, to whom Sanchez was recently linked.

Panettiere is currently in a long-distance relationship with giant Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko, and sources insist she’s “just friends” with Sanchez, who is also pals with Klitschko. Reps for Panettiere had no comment, and Sanchez’s reps couldn’t be reached.

Despite Sunday’s crushing defeat by the Steelers, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and wide receiver Braylon Edwards partied until early Monday at a New York club where they spent more than $2,500.

While Jets fans mourned, Sanchez drowned his sorrows by knocking back shots and chatting up the pretty bartender at Chelsea’s Juliet Supper Club after arriving at 3 a.m., while Edwards ordered Champagne and tequila shots for his table.

Even though he’s a free agent and may not be brought back, Edwards was bullish about the team. He went to the deejay booth, grabbed the microphone and told the crowd, which included actor Greg Bello, Knicks star Roger Mason and model Tyson Beckford: “The Jets will be back next season and will go all the way to the Super Bowl.”

After flying back with the team from Pittsburgh, Edwards arrived at Juliet at 2:30 a.m. with six others. He took a table and immediately ordered a round of tequila shots and an $1,100 bottle of Ace of Spades Champagne.

Sanchez turned up with a male friend, headed straight to the bar and knocked back a shot with the attractive brunette bartender. He didn’t know Edwards was already there, but was led to his table by staff, say witnesses.

But a spy said, “Mark sat with Braylon for a short while, but soon enough he was back at the bar flirting with the bartender, a gorgeous South American girl, busty with long, dark reddish hair. They were doing shots together and he kept whispering in her ear and holding her hand. He looked pretty enamored, and was at the bar until closing time. He went home alone but phone numbers were exchanged. Edwards’ bill came to around $2,500.”

The players closed down the club at 4:30 a.m. Edwards, who was charged with DUI last September, left in a chauffeur-driven Escalade. One source said, “The club got all the players drivers after that incident. They were taking no chances.”

Jets teammates celebrated their triumph over the Patriots with sushi, tequila and magnums of Champagne Sunday night.

Quarterback Mark Sanchez, kicker Nick Folk, wide receiver Braylon Edwards, cornerback Darrelle Revis, tight end Dustin Keller and defensive end Shaun Ellis headed to SushiSamba Park at about 1AM straight from Massachusetts.

Although the restaurant normally closes at midnight on Sundays, a source says, “The team called before they left Foxborough and asked if it would stay open late for them. They were in a fantastic mood, hungry and ready to celebrate.

Mark was the last one to leave around 3:30 a.m.” Edwards and Revis continued on with 20 friends at Juliet Supper Club in Chelsea and ordered Ace of Spades Champagne.

A witness said, “Braylon got on the mike and led the crowd to chant “J-E-T-S! Jets! Jets! Jets!” The group celebrated until closing at 4 a.m.

At a Victoria’s Secret PINK event in Soho Monday night hosted by the Jets quarterback, Giants running back Brandon Jacobs and Victoria’s Secret models Chanel Iman and Erin Heatherton, Sanchez avoided questions about Sunday’s loss to the Packers and his much-rumored love life.

“I have a full-time girlfriend — the New York Jets,” he told us. He then went on to model a Hugo Boss suit in a charity fashion show at Saks Fifth Avenue alongside his teammates.

Jets superstar Mark Sanchez is making a play for a new girlfriend — attractive blond sports reporter Lindsay McCormick.

The handsome quarterback is getting friendly with McCormick, a reporter and football analyst from Houston, Texas. A source said, “Mark and Lindsay have known each other as friends for a long time, but have been seeing each other for a few weeks. She’s a freelance sports reporter and spends a lot of time working in Portland, Oregon, so they haven’t been able to see a lot of each other.

“Lindsay knows everyone in the football world,” as well as NBA stars, our source added. “She’s close to the Saints’ Reggie Bush and knows some of the Lakers, including Lamar Odom.”

Jets star Mark Sanchez’s winning streak is making him even more irresistible to women.

Following the blowout over the Bills on Sunday, the star QB was enjoying a celebratory meal at Abe & Arthur’s with teammates Braylon Edwards and Dustin Keller, when a woman sidled up uninvited from another table and sat down.

“The players were nice at first and chatted with her,” said our spy. “But the woman inched closer and closer to a very reluctant and uncomfortable-looking Sanchez. When she refused to leave the table, restaurant management had to step in. She was calmly asked to leave, but she refused, and they brought in security to escort her out.”

The swarm of celebrities at Le Bain for the Cinema Society afterparty for “Twelve,” on Wednesday night, was enough to distract even jaded nightlifers. But Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez seemed to only have eyes for a striking brunette who wasn’t Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

After weeks of “are-they-or-aren’t-they” speculation about the jock and the “Sopranos” star, a source at the party tells us Sanchez was grazing lips with the dark-haired hottie in a nude dress near one of the Standard Hotel club’s rooftop bars. Perhaps that’s why there haven’t been any sightings of Sanchez and Sigler in recent months.

Also hitting it off – albeit in a platonic way – were actor/rapper 50 Cent, slim and dapper in a suit, and “Gossip Girl” star Michelle Trachtenberg. The two got along so well they even exchanged contact info before parting ways.

Despite a smattering of recent public appearances together, Jets QB Mark Sanchez denies he’s dating “Sopranos” star Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

“I met her at an event at the Tribeca Film Festival, and we were both compensated for being there and both happened to be in the same place,” he told radio station KLAC in Los Angeles.

“So they took all these pictures of us watching the video, kind of doing what we were supposed to do so it looked like we were awfully close. But yeah, she’s a sweetheart, we’ve hung out across New York. She’s a great girl, but I mean she could probably do much better than me.”
