Tyson renewed vows with Lakiha Spicer after turning a joint birthday party at the M Resort into a surprise wedding bash for family and friends.

The Tysons greeted guests and then disappeared to change into their wedding attire before renewing their vows in a traditional Muslim ceremony.

The couple secretly married at a small Vegas chapel back in 2009, just weeks after Tyson’s four-year-old daughter was killed in a freak accident at home.

Mike Tyson’s tattoo artist has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against The Hangover: Part 2 producers for allegedly using his design without consent.

In the movie’s preview, actor Ed Helms is shown sporting a face tattoo like the design inked on the boxer’s left cheek and temple.

S. Victor Whitmill, the artist who created, inked and copyrighted Tyson’s iconic tattoo, is suing the film’s studio, Warner Brothers, for allegedly using the image in the upcoming film without permission.

Whitmill is seeking an injunction to halt the impending release of The Hangover: Part 2, as well as banning the image of Helms from use in advertising materials and trailers. He also wants unspecified damages, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The legal papers, filed in federal court in Missouri on Thursday, state, “When Mr. Whitmill created the original tattoo, Mr Tyson agreed that Mr. Whitmill would own the artwork and thus, the copyright in the original tattoo.

Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. – without attempting to contact Mr. Whitmill, obtain his permission, or credit his creation – has copied Mr. Whitmill’s original tattoo and placed it on the face of another actor… This unauthorized exploitation of the original tattoo constitutes copyright infringement.”

The Hangover: Part II is set to hit theaters in late May 2011.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals demonstrated outside Mike Tyson’s suburban home to protest the former boxing champion’s role in pigeon racing.

Henderson police spokesman Todd Rasmussen said Tuesday the PETA demonstration on Monday outside Tyson’s gated hillside neighborhood was peaceful.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that some of the 20 protesters carried signs reading, “Featherweights: No match for a Heavyweight,” and “Mike doesn’t give pigeons a fighting chance.”

An attempt to reach Tyson through his wife on Tuesday was not successful.

Tyson has been a pigeon racing breeder and fan since childhood in Brooklyn, N.Y.

PETA’s Lisa Lange says the protest followed Sunday night’s debut of the Animal Planet show, “Taking on Tyson.” It features Tyson competing with pigeon racers in the New York City area.

On handling the death of his daughter…
Mike: I had a four-year-old daughter who, unfortunately, had an accident and died. I was pretty outraged, torn apart. When I went to the hospital when she was on the machine, I was anticipating, because I was probably coming down from a hangover, but I’m anticipating that I’m going to go to the hospital and raise hell. Once I got there and saw other people who had children who already died or were dying, they were handling it with dignity and I didn’t want to be the psycho parent. I wanted to handle it with dignity as well. Their kids were dying too so I didn’t have any right to be a psycho. I just had to handle it like everyone else and be humble and be at ease.

On being sober…
Ellen: You have been sober for how long?
Mike: Two years.
Ellen: Two years sober. That’s great.
Mike: I’m just very fortunate that I had a great support system. That I had great mentors. I was just very fortunate. I’m not better than anyone else that was successful and probably OD’d or committed suicide. I’m not different than them. The only difference is that I had a good support system…I wanted to change. I couldn’t do it without the support.

On being vegan and losing weight…
Ellen: I am vegan as well. I heard that you are vegan.
Mike: Two years. It’s an awesome feeling.

The skit, which aired during a special Oscar edition of Jimmy Kimmel’s, saw the former boxer helping a Bush lookalike get ready for an important public address.

Tyson recited lines from Hamlet with the doppelgänger, massaged his jaw, rolled him along the floor and helped him perform voice exercises.

His role in the sketch, entitled Tyler Perry’s The President’s Speech, was a hilarious take on Geoffrey Rush’s Oscar-nominated part.

Tyson, 44, was filmed wearing a suit and hat – and painting a watercolor – when he was approached to be Bush’s vocal coach.

Told ‘Your country needs you’, the ex-heavyweight champion repeatedly held his head in his hands as he watched the former US president fluff his lines during live broadcasts.

‘The worst delivery in the history of speeching,’ he bellowed during one blunder.

But after some intensive training – which mimicked Rush’s scenes with Colin Firth in The King’s Speech – Tyson’s tactics worked.

The former boxer stood in the sidelines, a tear trickling from his eye, as Bush got through an address unscathed.

Firth as stammering British ruler George VI in earned the best actor prize at the Academy Awards last night.
The film also received best director, best film and best script.

When Mike Tyson looks back on his friendship with Tupac Shakur, he thinks about the rapper’s big heart, explosive anger – and the one regret he has about their relationship.

“He always wanted me to smoke weed with him, and I never did it, and I wish I did,” Tyson said in a recent phone interview.

Tyson said he declined because he was a closet smoker and didn’t want it to get out that he smoked the drug. Now, when he looks back on the lost opportunity, he says: “That’s my biggest regret.”

Tyson’s friendship with Shakur is the subject of a new documentary, “One Night in Vegas: Tyson & Tupac,” which airs Tuesday on ESPN (8 p.m. EDT).

The 25-year-old rapper was shot after a Tyson fight in Las Vegas on Sept. 7, 1996; he died six days later.

“He didn’t last long, but the time he did last, every minute, every tenth of a moment was explosive,” Tyson said.

The documentary chronicles their relationship, which Tyson said took hold when he was imprisoned in 1992 for rape.

“Every day, he would call me or get a chance to call me or send a message,” said Tyson. “He would get word to me in prison.”

By the time Tyson was released in 1995, Shakur would be jailed for sex abuse; he was released on bond later that year. When he got out of prison, Tyson and Shakur’s friendship deepened. Both found it difficult to find people who truly cared for them, Tyson said.

“Our problem was we always had to worry about someone betraying us, our closest friends,” Tyson said.

Friendship was so important to Shakur that he criticized Tyson when he selected a song from rapper Redman as his intro music at a fight.

“He said, ‘Don’t you ever play those (expletive) songs again, they don’t give a (expletive) about you,’” Tyson recalled. “When he said that, it pierced my soul. … I felt like I did something wrong.”

After that talk, Tyson decided Shakur’s raps would be his intro music for life.

It was partly because Tyson had chosen Shakur’s music as his fight music that Shakur went to Tyson’s fight in Las Vegas. He made a special rap for Tyson’s big night. After the fight, which Tyson won by knockout, Shakur was to join Tyson at a victory party. But he never made it.

“I felt extremely guilty because I felt if he didn’t come to this fight, that would have never have happened,” he said. “It’s just so crazy that we had talked every day for a week.”

Tyson, 44, said the world never understood the real Shakur.

“He was probably a misguided warrior. He had a heart as big as this planet,” Tyson said. “He had so much love and compassion, and you couldn’t even see it under his rage.”

It’s because of those qualities that he remains larger than life in death, he said.

“He’s going to last until the time this Earth comes to an end,” he said. “I’m glad to be a part of his life and to have known him.”

Mike Tyson only accepted a role in The Hangover to fund his drug habit, according to a frank new interview with the star.

The former boxing champion appears as himself in 2009 movie, in which he sings along to Phil Collins’ In The Air Tonight and punches Zach Galifianakis’ character in a Las Vegas hotel suite.

Tyson reveals he took on the role to make money to pay for drugs – and he was stunned by the comedy’s runaway success.

He tells radio show Gridlock, “I was doing that to supply my drug habit… I said, ‘Wow, This is going to be really good. We’re going to sell this stuff on 42nd Street on bootleg and make a lot of money.’ This is my best thinking on drugs… It wasn’t that way. It was an international success.”

The 44 year old has been sober since the death of his four-year-old daughter Exodus last year.

He once infamously bit off part of an opponent’s ear during a fight, but it seems Mike Tyson has lost his taste for meat.

The former boxer claims to have given up animal products in exchange for a purely vegan diet.

And it seems the change is doing him some good. After piling on the pounds in recent years, Tyson looked fighting fit as he headed out for dinner in Beverly Hills last night.

While recording a 90-minute interview for the Yes Network in New York last week he revealed that he had given up eating meat or animal products.

The 43-year-old said he’d become a vegan and finally had ‘no drama’ in his life.

From the beginning of his boxing career in the mid-Eighties, Tyson was on a strict diet and spent hours at the gym building up his strength.

The father-of-seven was the youngest ever competitor to win the heavyweight title and through this he earned the nickname ‘Iron Mike’.

Throughout the Nineties Tyson’s muscular body was a well oiled fighting machine.

However, his career took a battering when he was convicted of raping beauty queen Desiree Washington and served three years in prison.

A year after his release, he horrified boxing fans across the world when he bit a section off Evander Holyfield’s right ear during a fight in Las Vegas.

In 2002, Tyson was at the centre of further controversy when he declared before his fight with British fighter Lennox Lewis ‘I want his heart. I want to eat his children’.

Tyson quit boxing in June 2005 after losing a match against Irish boxer Kevin McBride.

He suffered personal tragedy last year when his four-year-old daughter Exodus died in an accident at her home.

Mike Tyson has opened up about his lack of reaction during a famous 1988 interview with his first wife Robin Givens – he was too high on drugs to respond as the actress accused him of domestic violence on national TV.

The boxing great, who was married to Givens for eight months, sat in silence beside his wife as she poked fun at him and claimed he had hit her during a TV special with U.S. interviewer Barbara Walters.

Tyson has previously confessed he wanted to “sock” his then-wife for what she said, but feared he’d lose his temper in front of the cameras.

He admitted, “I truly wanted to sock her… but I just didn’t do it. I was young at the time… I have socked her before and she socked me before, but it was just that kind of relationship, you know.”

But, reuniting with Walters on U.S. talk show The View for the first time since that interview, Tyson admits he was going through his “junkie” stage at the time and was likely to have been on heavy medication.

Tyson, who was 22 during the TV chat, says, “I was a young kid then… I was just bushwhacked there.”

Givens is now the spokeswoman for America’s National Domestic Violence Hotline.

An animal welfare group wants New York City prosecutors to investigate Mike Tyson’s reality television show about pigeon racing.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals says the Brooklyn-based show is cruel to animals and its races could involve illegal gambling.

The show will follow Tyson as he competes in pigeon races. The former world heavyweight champion has raised pigeons all his life but is a racing rookie.

The show airs next year on Animal Planet. A spokeswoman says there have never been plans for wagering on the races. She says the pigeons will be “cherished and respected by their owners,” including Tyson.

PETA sent a letter dated March 18 to the Brooklyn district attorney’s office requesting an investigation.

District attorney spokesman Jonah Bruno says the office is looking into the allegations.
