Ne-Yo is making big plans for the daughter his girlfriend, Monyetta Shaw, is expecting in January.

The couple is leaning toward naming her Madeline. The R&B singer also said at Denise Rich’s apartment he recently bought a Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Panamera, since both have room for baby seats, and redecorated his home.

“That’s all I need is little Madeline to push a sculpture down on her head. Can’t have that.” NE-YO and Rich are working together on his Compound Foundation for foster teens.

Ne-Yo will perform at Rich’s Angel Ball for Cancer Research on Oct. 21.

One year after Chris Brown infamously beat up his then-girlfriend, the R&B star spoke out against domestic violence at Meatpacking hot spot SL.

“What happened between Chris Brown and Rihanna was unacceptable, and we need to all work together and make sure it never happens again, to anyone,” NE-Yo told the crowd.

He then debuted his new single, “Heroes.” Proceeds from sales of the song on Macys.com will benefit Respect!, a nonprofit devoted to ending violence in relation ships.

Sorry Ne-Yo, but I don’t think she was the only one at fault in that incident. You swing at a man, expect to be knocked out, just sayin!

Miami is known for many things – from pink flamingos to “Miami Vice” to the storied history of the Fontainebleau, but come Friday, Feb. 5, it will also be known as the place where ESPN The Magazine hosted its hottest NEXT event in its history at the “new” Fontainebleau Miami Beach, featuring Grammy Award-winning singer Ne-Yo and Grammy-nominated singer Keri Hilson as its headliners.

ESPN The Magazine’s NEXT event, in its sixth year, celebrates The Magazine’s NEXT issue which features who and what to watch out for in sports. The Mag will erect a custom-made, 25,000 square-foot, clear-top tent on the oceanside Fontainebleau property so its athlete and celebrity guests can dance the night away under the Miami sky.

ESPN The Magazine’s NEXT event will also feature MC/Music Producer Q-Tip, who will DJ the event.
