Fresh-faced Canadian teen idol Justin Bieber has teamed up with veteran rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon to make a Best Buy commercial for next month’s Super Bowl, the electronics chain said on Thursday.

Bieber, 16, currently the world’s biggest teen singing sensation, and the 62 year-old “Black Sabbath” frontman and his wife, an “America’s Got Talent’ judge, filmed the commercial in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Best Buy gave no details but said the ad would “showcase creativity and humor” to millions of Super Bowl TV viewers.

“We’re delighted to have Justin and Ozzy help us tell the Best Buy story. We know people have high expectations for these ads and Justin and Ozzy add a whole new dimension of fun,” said Best Buy’s senior vice president of U.S. marketing, Drew Panayiotu.

The spot is the first Super Bowl commercial from Best Buy, the top U.S. consumer electronics retailer.

The annual National Football League Championship game is the most-watched event on television, drawing more than 100 million viewers, and has become a showcase for quirky and innovative commercials.

The 2011 Super Bowl pits the Green Bay Packers against the Pittsburgh Steelers on February 6 in Dallas.

Christina Aguilera will sing the national anthem and The Black Eyed Peas will perform in the halftime show.

Rocker Ozzy Osbourne is cashing in on his unlikely career as a medical adviser – he’s writing a new book based on the crazy “survival stories” of his hellraiser past.

The Black Sabbath star began offering medical advice to Sunday Times readers in the U.K. earlier this year and he recently started offering American fans his words of wisdom in music magazine Rolling Stone’s new Ask Dr. Ozzy column.

Now he’s using that same title for another literary release, which will see Osbourne re-team with writer Chris Ayres, co-author of his memoir I Am Ozzy.

Ask Dr. Ozzy will “tell incredible survival stories not found in his memoir, offer advice that no human should follow, and shed light on his seemingly superhuman ability to keep breathing”, according to the press release.

It is expected to hit store shelves in October 2011, reports Blabbermouth.net.

A movie based on the legendary Black Sabbath frontman and solo artist’s colourful life has been given the go-ahead by studio executives according to his wife, Sharon.

She said: “There’s about to be a big announcement. It’s been picked up and it’s going into production. There’s no cast yet, but we have a producer and we have lots of money and we’re all starting.”

She added that the person to play her husband – who released his autobiography, titled ‘I Am Ozzy’ last year – will be “somebody new” rather than an established star.

Sharon, who has been Ozzy’s manager since his split from Black Sabbath in 1979, said she would choose English actress Carey Mulligan to play her if she could pick anyone, although she also earmarked her daughter, Kelly, as ideal for the role.

When asked about the possibility of casting Kelly, she replied: “To play me? She is a Mini Me, so yeah, she would be good.”

Summing up his life in rock ‘n’ roll upon the release of his biography, Ozzy said: “They’ve said some crazy things about me over the years. I mean, ok: ‘He bit the head off a bat.’ Yes. ‘He bit the head off a dove.’ Yes,

“I took lethal combinations of booze and drugs for thirty f***ing years. I survived a direct hit by a plane, suicidal overdoses, STDs. I’ve been accused of attempted murder. Then I almost died while riding over a bump on a quad bike at f***ing two miles per hour.”

BAH, HUMBUG!

Ozzy Osbourne is bringing new meaning to the word Scrooge. “I hate Christmas,” says the rocker. “When I used to drink, it was a good excuse to get drunk for two weeks. Now I just hate it.” So how does Ozzy prefer to spend Dec. 25? Well, his favorite holiday came in 2003 – right after he’d been involved in a quad-biking accident. Says Osbourne: “I was in a coma for a while, so I missed Christmas. Thank God.”
