Every gal has her flaws — even Rihanna.

The usually stunning songstress was caught in an unflattering pose on Monday night after partying at Mahiki, a nightclub in London. As she climbed into a limo, photographers caught a glimpse of her too-short skirt — and a bit of cellulite.

But the “Good Girl Gone Bad” has at least one male admirer who doesn’t seem to mind her imperfections: Spies tell us that the singer is dating actor Tristan Wilds. The “90210″ star was an unexpected guest at a party RiRi held over the weekend at her L.A. home, where she was saying goodbye to pals before taking off for a set of London gigs.

“No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party — it was very intimate,” says a fellow guest. “But everyone quickly realized they weren’t meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see.”

Our source adds that 21-year-old Rihanna and the 20-year-old actor, who has also starred in “The Wire” and Jay-Z’s “Roc Boys” music video, were introduced by a music producer who has worked with both of them — Wilds is currently working on an album of his own.

They hit it off the moment they laid eyes on each other, the insider says. “He’s a real gentleman,” says the source. “She likes him a lot, and it shows. From the moment he walked into her party, Rihanna lit up.”

So what now? Although RiRi will be traveling to promote her album “Rated R,” which drops on Monday, our source thinks the fling will last.

“They’ll keep in touch while she’s away,” the snitch insists. “They’re already planning to use iChat and Skype to stay in contact until Tristan finishes shooting ‘90210′ for the season and can fly out to meet her on the road.”

While that may be the case, Rihanna may want to ask her new beau why he’s palling around with her ex, Chris Brown — on Twitter, at least. On Sunday, Brown tweeted that he was “so tired.” Shortly thereafter, Wilds took to his page to give the singer some words of encouragement. “Keep grinding, kid. All we can do,” he wrote.

Let’s hope Rihanna straightens out that issue ASAP — along with her wardrobe.

It had been a triumphant night for Rihanna, who managed to dazzle London fans with a secret preview of her new album at the Brixton Academy. But it ended in less spectacular fashion.

The pop star was seen struggling into a limo while leaving an after-party held at Mahiki nightclub in the early hours of this morning.

Her mini-dress proved that bit too short, her fashionable shoe-boots that bit too high, resulting in an altogether calamitous scene.

The 21-year-old gave a glimpse of her dimpled upper thighs – confirming that even the most glamorous of stars have a bad angle – and then seconds later flashed her nude underwear.

At one point she even ended up horizontal in the back seat of the car before eventually regaining her cool composure.

Rihanna had been partying at the celebrity haunt with her music mentor Jay-Z, who had earlier made a guest appearance with her on stage, and his wife Beyonce, who had come straight from a performance of her own at the O2 Arena.

It was the second night out in a row for the power couple, who were spotted at Whiskey Mist just 24 hours earlier.

The 21-year-old is on a promotional visit to the capital ahead of the highly anticipated release of her new album, Rated R.

While she’s been away from the stage for most of this year recovering from the fall-out of her assault by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, she proved last night that when it comes to her confidence in front of a crowd, she’s never been in better form.

In a VIP show streamed live online by Nokia, the star delivered a thumping medley of her latest offerings and familiar favourites, including Don’t Stop The Music, Disturbia and Umbrella.

Rihanna spent more than $50,000 to fly her family to New York to celebrate her Glamour Award as a thank-you for supporting her through tough times.

She flew in her mom, Monica Fenty, plus her brothers and aunts from her native Barbados to watch her pick up the Woman of the Year Award in an emotional ceremony at Carnegie Hall Monday night. Afterward, the songbird introduced them to Iman, Serena Williams, Tyra Banks and fashion designer Stella McCartney.

Rihanna said during her tearful acceptance speech, “I really look up to my gran and my mom. They are my two women of the year . . . Without their unconditional love and guidance, I wouldn’t be here.”

The group went on to dinner at South Gate in the Essex House, where one Rihanna relative was spotted helping America’s UN ambassador, Susan Rice, pull down the lining of her gown in the ladies’ room.

Missing from the festivities was Ronald Fenty, Rihanna’s father. The pop star told Diane Sawyer last week that he’d abused her mother when Rihanna was a child.

The singer and her family are expected to leave town by the time Chris Brown arrives to appear on Wendy Williams’ show Friday. Her rep had no comment last night.

Other celebrities at the dinner included a glowing and pregnant Padma Lakshmi, “Orphan Doctor” Jane Aronson, freed journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling, Amy Poehler, and Katie Couric with her 13-year-old daughter, Carrie. Couric said, “I wanted to give her the chance to meet some of the many inspirational women at this event.”

Couric was in sparkling form when she bumped into McCartney, who wore a super-short skirt. She asked the designer, “What happened to the rest of your dress?” McCartney replied, “I had to cut back on fabric. After all, there is a recession on.”

Rihanna says recording songs on her new album was such an emotional experience that she sometimes had to leave the studio to prevent herself from breaking down.

“I walked out the studio a few times just trying not to be in tears,” she said Monday about recording her fourth studio album, “Rated R,” to be released on Nov. 23.

“It was about me, and so much so that songs got really personal to the point where it took three months for me to start recording it because it was too deep for me to even listen to,” she said.

The CD comes nine months after the 21-year-old singing sensation was attacked by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Rihanna said recording helped ease the pain – giving her an outlet to express how she truly felt.

“I got to vent because I didn’t really talk a lot. I didn’t talk to a lot of people about anything I was feeling. I just did it on the record,” she said.

Brown was arrested Feb. 8. He was accused of beating Rihanna after they attended a pre-Grammy party. Brown later pleaded guilty to felony assault and was sentenced to five years’ probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling.

Following the attack, Rihanna said she was sick of sitting at home and decided to head to the studio.

“I was tired of just being in the house and I just felt like I was wasting so much time and just being lackadaisical, so I just wanted to work again and we started recording,” she said.

Rihanna, who won a Grammy for the megahit “Umbrella,” says the new album’s sound is “darker” than her previous ones because it reflects her turbulent year.

“The recording experience was different because it was from a completely new mind space, from a different perspective. Usually I was thinking of fun stories, things to talk about, different topics that might be cool, but this time is really about my life,” she said.

She also said she’s excited for fans to hear a song called “Stupid In Love.”

“You’re blinded by love, love is blind and sometimes you can’t see it coming and it’s just coming to the realization of the state of a relationship and just saying, ‘This is not what I like. It doesn’t make me happy,’” she said.

Rihanna said the album is a reflection of Rihanna the woman – not the image we’ve come to know.

“I feel like my fans, they knew me, they knew what I looked like, but they didn’t really know what my personality was. They didn’t really know how I think or what I stand for. They didn’t really know much about me as a person. They just knew my image and the idea of me,” she said.

“But I wanted to give them more of who I really was because I feel like that was a connection I was missing.”

Rihanna credits this album with helping her look forward instead of dwelling in past.

“Venting is a part of moving on, like you have to get it out no matter what, and this album for me helped me do that – being in the studio, writing, working with producers and songwriters, making music,” she said. “It made it even more special that it came from my heart and my real… my feelings, the exact way I felt.”

Even for a venue as grand as New York’s Carnegie Hall, there was a pretty dazzling concentration of star power at Glamour magazine’s Women of the Year awards.

Pop star Rihanna was there, in the most body-hugging of gowns. Tennis star Serena Williams was there, too, in a bright red, one-shoulder number. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones were presenters; so were Katie Couric and former President Bill Clinton.

And there were not one but three Beatle wives.

But the biggest ovation at Monday evening’s award ceremony went to the 81-year-old poet Maya Angelou, whose soaring words on the power of womanhood brought many to tears and nearly everyone to their feet.

Women, Angelou told the crowd in her speech, “are rainbows in the clouds.”

“I am grateful to be a woman,” said Angelou, who won the lifetime achievement award. “I must have done something great in another life.” As for the men: “You have to write your own poem,” the poet said to laughter, including from Clinton, the man who had called upon her to recite poetry at his inauguration.

The annual Glamour Women of the Year awards always honor a group of eclectic women, and this year was no exception.

One of the evening’s most emotional moments was the award to pediatrician Jane Aronson, who works to better the lives of orphans overseas and founded the Worldwide Orphans Foundation. She was in tears after Couric introduced her, even more so when surprised onstage by a group of her “kids,” children from foreign countries, now adopted by American families.

“You know I’ve never had a surprise party,” she said. “Until tonight.”

She got a standing ovation, as did the Iranian women of the One Million Signatures Campaign, introduced by CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour. The women are working toward gender equality in Iran.

Model Iman, who presented Rihanna’s award, referred to the singer’s ordeal early this year, when she was assaulted by boyfriend and fellow singer Chris Brown. Rihanna initially returned to Brown but said last week that she regrets it, because it sent the wrong message to her fans. Brown has pleaded guilty to felony assault.

“Now I am even more impressed with her dignity and courage,” Iman said, noting that Rihanna would serve as a role model to victims of domestic violence.

Other honorees recently in the headlines were Laura Ling and Euna Lee, the American TV journalists who were arrested in North Korea and sentenced to 12 years hard labor after briefly crossing the border from China.

They were pardoned in early August after a trip to Pyongyang by Clinton, who also mentioned the ordeal in his remarks, calling the day of their release one of the happiest of his life.

Also honored was fashion designer Stella McCartney. Her dad, Paul McCartney, wasn’t there, but Stella was shocked to see three Beatle wives presenting her award: Yoko Ono, widow of John Lennon; Olivia Harrison, widow of George; and Ringo Starr’s wife, Barbara Starkey.

Tyra Banks presented the award to tennis champion Serena Williams, who also addressed the young women in the crowd: “You can do whatever you want to do. The most important belief is self-belief.”

Maria Shriver was honored for her work on various women’s issues, among other things. The first lady of California also produced a documentary this year on Alzheimer’s disease, which afflicts her father, Sargent Shriver.

And actor Michael Douglas presented the award to Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, who was also lauded via video by President Barack Obama. At a dinner later, Rice said she was inspired by many of her fellow honorees, and mentioned Aronson, the pediatrician who works with orphans, whose work she hadn’t been familiar with.

“We could do some real damage together,” Rice said with a smile.

Matt Lauer, host of NBC’s “Today,” presented an award to Marissa Mayer, who became the first female engineer at Google Inc. and is now the company’s vice president of search products and user experience.

Not knowing much about Mayer, Lauer recounted, he merely Googled her.

“I discovered she had 600,000 mentions,” Lauer quipped. “Not as huge as me, but no slouch.”

Comic actress Amy Poehler received her award from “Saturday Night Live” producer Lorne Michaels, who spoke admiringly of how Poehler performed her famous Sarah Palin rap skit when she was nine months pregnant.

Poehler’s advice to the young women and girls in the crowd, which included a vociferous contingent of Girl Scouts: “Girls, if boys say something that’s not funny, you don’t have to laugh.”

While hanging out with a gaggle of assistants and singer James Blount at a party thrown by Vegas nightclub The Bank at Wonderland in LA, the songstress was sent a $10,000 bottle of Champagne by Jets receiver Braylon Edwards and a handful of his teammates, who were at a nearby table.

But according to a partygoer, “She didn’t know who they were, so she sent it back.” Edwards’ rep says Braylon later introduced himself and all was well. Also at the club was Mickey Rourke entertaining his girlfriend’s mother from Russia.

The dueling divas worked hard to upstage each other at Carey’s party at M2 Ultralounge.

A source said Rihanna, dressed as a tiger with a tail so long a security guard had to hold it up, partied with three female friends and rapper Ne-Yo in a booth and wouldn’t cross the dance floor to pay her respects.

Meanwhile Carey, in a corset and giant angel wings, stayed with hubby Nick Cannon in her VIP area.

A spy said, “It was Mariah’s party, but Rihanna didn’t want to be seen with her. And Mariah was not going over to greet Rihanna. Mariah needed six guards to clear a path to the bathroom so her wings wouldn’t be dislodged.” Carey’s rep said, “There were 1,000 people there and, of course, she needed security. She heard a rumor that Rihanna was there but she never saw her. She’s loves Rihanna and of course would have said hello.” Rihanna’s rep had no comment.

The first interview with Rihanna about Chris Brown’s assault on her is airing this week on ABC.

The network says the pop star’s one-on-one with Diane Sawyer will air Thursday and Friday on “Good Morning America” and Friday evening on the news magazine “20/20.”

Brown’s attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna occurred in February. He was sentenced in August to five years’ probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling after he pleaded guilty to felony assault.

Rihanna’s ABC interview coincides with the debut of her new single, “Russian Roulette,” from her upcoming album, “Rated R.” It’s her first CD since 2007’s multiplatinum “Good Girl Gone Bad.”
