RIHANNA makes an exclusive appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Monday, November 21, 2011. Ellen talks with Rihanna about being single and what she is looking for in a man. Plus, Ellen gives Rhianna a sleep kit to get some rest over the holidays.

Rihanna on being single…

Rihanna: I’m not dating anyone right now.

Ellen: You’re single right now?

Rihanna: I’m not dating at all.

Ellen: I would think you would be intimidating to men. First of all, having the title ‘The Sexist Woman Alive” (From Esquire Magazine) I don’t know if you wear a banner or what happens. Is there a crown? When you’re the “Sexist Woman Alive” men are going to be intimidated. How do you guys…Are they scared of you?

Rihanna: I would say at times it can be intimidating but then it’s no good. I can’t have guys that are intimidated by me.

Ellen: So do you like men that are more shy and charming or do you like men that are more aggressive and…you want confidence.

Rihanna: I like men that are more aggressive but mysterious but I like a man to be very sure. I like them to be sure of them selves andknow that you’re the man. I’m the lady and the only way for us to make this work is for us to play our roles. You know, I can’t really be the man for you. I don’t want to have to be. I’m the man at work all the time.

Ellen: I think especially for a powerful woman and you make a lot of decisions the whole day. Your job is to make decisions. You want somebody else to take control and make those decisions in a relationship. And that’s hard to find a guy who’s not going to be intimated by the power you have. And, realize there’s got to be another side.

Rihanna: Definitely. It can be difficult but I think really right now, I’m not giving the time. I don’t have the time. I’m not nessicarly happy being single. It’s not really that cool.

Ellen: But you’re ok with it?

Rihanna: It sucks but it is, what it is. Let me say this right, because I don’t want to make it seem like, my work is my everything. I do put a lot into my job. Most of my time if not all of it. It definitely affects my personal life. My personal life is pretty much non-existent. Which is not good, not for the long run. Not for me, not for “Her” (points to in-between her legs) It’s not fun. (Laughing)

Ellen: (Laughing)

Rihanna: That’s why I stay on Twitter a lot. So I can conversate with my fans. Because I don’t get any booty calls.

Ellen: (Laughing) So many things to say right now, but I won’t. We’ll, take a break and talk to “them” when we come back.

Singer Rihanna was forced to cancel a show in Malmo, Sweden, after being hospitalized with the flu on Monday night, the singer said in a statement.

“I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo, Sweden. I was so excited to perform for you all. It would have been a great time … so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I’m really disappointed I couldn’t be there,” Rihanna said.

Rihanna also tweeted a picture of her arm embedded with an IV tube, with the caption “Sorry Malmo!”

The 23-year-old Barbadian singer is currently on her fourth concert tour around Europe, in conjunction with her fifth studio album, “Loud.” The tour kicked off in June in Baltimore, and is expected to wrap up in December in London.

Rihanna is scheduled to perform in Stockholm on Tuesday.

Sexy R&B star Rihanna has sparked rumors of a love match with British boxer Dudley O’Shaughnessy after they were seen enjoying a night out together in London.

The Bajan beauty took her Loud tour to the U.K. this week and spent Thursday night partying with the sportsman and model after reportedly handpicking him to appear in the video for her new single We Found Love.

Sources claim sparks flew between the young stars on the set of the promo, which was shot on an Irish farm last month, and they reunited in the U.K. capital following Rihanna’s gig at the O2 Arena.

According to British newspaper the Daily Mail, Rihanna and O’Shaughnessy shared drinks at popular nightclub Mahiki before they were snapped leaving the venue together in the early hours of Friday.

Rihanna has been largely single since splitting from Los Angeles Dodgers baseball star Matt Kemp last December.

The ‘Rude Boy’ hitmaker – who has been in Northern Ireland shooting the video for her single ‘We Found Love’ – had her team call four local beauticians in the early hours of Monday morning, before finally persuading one to get out of bed to perform the intimate treatment.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Rihanna arrived at her hotel very late and the first thing she wanted was a bikini wax. The video shoot was scheduled for the following morning so she didn’t have much time.

“Her assistants got on the case quickly and called some beauticians after finding a directory on the web. It was relief all round when they finally managed to find someone.”

During her time in Belfast, the 23-year-old singer – who previously dated baseball star Matt Kemp and singer Chris Brown – is also said to have grown close to her video co-star, British boxer Dudley O’Shaughnessy.

A source recently said: “Rihanna was making no secret that she was attracted to Dudley. They hit it off straight away. She had seen his modelling shots and other pictures when he was a boxer.

“Rihanna took every opportunity to get close to him and at one point she was sitting in his lap during a break from filming. She’s very tactile anyway, but this was something else.”

The ‘S&M’ singer is reportedly pursuing the squeaky clean pop star – famed for wearing a purity ring – by sending him suggestive messages.

A source says: “They met when Joe did a song with Rihanna’s ex Chris Brown and recently she’s been bombarding him with raunchy text messages.

“She keeps laughing to her friends that she wants to take him one the wildest ride of his life.”

Joe, 21, has been out with a number of beautiful women, including ‘Twilight’ star Ashley Greene, Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift, but recently revealed he is single and is “always looking for the right person”.

Rihanna, 23, makes no secret of her sexual urges, and recently said she likes to be “dominated” in the bedroom.
She said: “I play a very dominant role in my life, in every aspect of it. And I like to feel like a lady still, at some point.

“I feel like that’s the time when a guy really gets to be a man, and I get to be a woman. And if I’m being a man in the bedroom too, there’s nothing really in it for me.”

The ‘What’s My Name’ hitmaker is single at the moment, but has this year been romantically linked to rapper Drake, baseball player Matt Kemp and also rumoured to have rekindled her romance with her first boyfriend Negus Sealy.

The full name of the drink is Vita Coco Coconut Water With Tropical Fruit, and according to Gather Business, Rihanna endorsed the brand because it reminded her of her Barbados home: “I grew up in Barbados – so when Vita Coco approached me to help develop a new flavor, I thought we should combine the natural coconut water with fresh tropical fruits – two of my favorite things. It tastes so delicious and reminds me of home!” The brand is backed by a host of celebrities; both Madonna and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Anthony Kiedis are investors.

In other Rihanna related news, the singer is reportedly back with her childhood sweetheart, Negus Sealy. Apparently the pair have become inseparable after reuniting at a recent festival in Barbados, where they were pictured dancing together. A source told The Sun: “Negus has hardly left her side. He was her first true love. The ladies here all love him – they call him the Love God. They’ve hooked up in the past when she’s been back in Barbados but now things have progressed into a proper relationship again.” Apparently their outrageous dancing at the festival really caught the eye, and another source said: “They were all over each other and their dancing got very hot and heavy.”

The Bajan beauty, who was recently romantically linked to Drake, was spotted enjoying some “hot and heavy” dancing with her former flame – who she dated in 2006 before shooting to fame as a singer – at the Kadooment Day festival in her home nation of Barbados.

A friend said: “Negus has hardly left her side. He was her first true love. The ladies here all love him – they call him the Love God.

“They’ve hooked up in the past when she’s been back in Barbados but now things have progressed into a proper relationship again.”

A fellow onlooker added to The Sun newspaper: “They were all over each other and their dancing got very hot and heavy.”

Negus – who provided Rihanna with a shoulder to cry on when she split with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown after he assaulted her in 2009 – has been spending time at the ‘California King Bed’ hitmaker’s villa on the Sandy Lane estate.

The 23-year-old singer is also still “good friends” with ex-boyfriend Matt Kemp – who she split with last December following an 11-month romance – who recently explained the pair still get on well.

He said: “She’s a good friend of mine. We’re good.

“There’s no bad blood between us. We’ve all got busy lives and we’re working on our careers and concentrating on our careers. Like I said, I wish her all the best of luck and she wishes me all the best of luck.”

Rihanna dressed in a louder than life attire as she took part in a traditional Bajan festival.

The singer climbed aboard a float dressed in a cut away bra top and a pair of tiny red pants flaunting her fabulous figure as she celebrated Kadooment Day.

And while her scarlet locks may have gone the singer donned bright red feathers in her hair which added to the intricate embellishment on her costume.

Rihanna was certainly the star of the show and showed little inhibition as she played up to the crowds on the stage.

At one point in the party an over-eager fan came up behind her as she bent over and the singer happily obliged by dancing with him.

Ri-Ri was also seen blowing kisses to the crowd, supping on a drink and chatted with friends as she partied the day away.

And when the rain started to fall the singer didn’t let the wet weather ruin her mood and took to running in the street and giggling with her pals.

The Grand Kadooment is the official finale celebration of the Crop Over Festival Season and Rihanna was taking part in the parade of Masquerade Bands.

The ‘California King Bed’ singer has been signed up by the Italian fashion house to appear campaigns for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans.

Rihanna – who will appear in ads for the fall-winter 2011-2012 collections, which were shot in New York City and debut in September – follows in the footsteps David and Victoria Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Megan Fox in representing the brand.

Earlier this year, Rihanna was named as spokesmodel for Nivea.

The cosmetics brand teamed up with the ‘What’s My Name’ hitmaker to celebrate their 100th anniversary and released a photo of her posing seductively and apparently naked.

A representative for the brand, Markus Pinger, said: “We are excited to have Rihanna supporting us in our celebration and building a new generation of fans.”

The 23-year-old star has previously revealed she likes to shock people with her fashion choices.

Talking about her future look, the 22-year-old star said: “I probably see a lot of menswear, or something extremely, extremely feminine. But I like to play with both. It would have to be so extreme that it’s a look, because I don’t usually like typical ladylike, girly-girly stuff. It would be a look if I were to do it. I always like something that’s a little off, so it’s just not typical or expected.”

Rihanna, internationally successful recording artist, had to cut short a show in Dallas last night after fire broke out on the stage at the American Airlines Center. A video posted on Youtube shows a fire burning from the top of the stage, with some sparks falling to the ground.

Rihanna posted on Twitter shortly after the event “Dallas!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!!…I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!” She later continued, “Dallas yall CRAY!!! Love this f***n place! Glad u guys are safe!!! I promise I’ll be back!!! Heading into a production meeting to find out exactly what happened!!! Keep u posted.”

The fire was thought to have started as a result of a faulty row of lights in the rigging above the stage. The arena was evacuated and the fire brigade called in but the blaze was extinguished before they arrived. Some of the fans are asking for a refund, but it’s thought that it is more likely she will perform the show from scratch again at a later date.

The S&M superstar recently spoke to Cosmopolitan magazine on love and finding it again, “Men are like hunters, they like the chase, so you have to keep ‘em guessing,” Rihanna said. “I’m like that too. I get bored fast. So if someone can make me laugh, that’s the best.”
