There won’t be an encore for Sean Penn and Robin Wright’s marriage – court records show the couple are officially divorced.

A judgment ending their 14-year marriage was entered July 22 in Marin County, which is in the Bay Area. The filing was first reported Wednesday by People.com

The couple’s marriage has been an on-again, off-again affair. Wright filed for divorce last August, the third time the couple petitioned to either separate or divorce.

The filings show Penn and Wright will share custody of their 16-year-old son. They also have a 19-year-old daughter.

Requests for comment e-mailed to the actors’ publicists were not immediately returned.

Details of any financial settlement the ex-couple entered were not filed with the court.

At a post- screening dinner for “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee,” Wright says she didn’t miss acting while raising a family, but is excited to be back with two new movies in the pipeline, including one directed by Robert Redford. She told us she’s lived many lives and has no regrets. Toasting her comeback at Osteria del Circo were pals Julian Schnabel, Robert Wuhl, Harvey Weinstein and Sienna Miller, who told us she’d love another crack at Broadway.

Robin Wright is doing just fine without Sean Penn. The actress has dropped Penn from her name and turned her blond hair brown. She wowed guests at the star-studded Cinema Society screening of her movie “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” on Sunday night.

Showing off her slim figure in a Herve Leger dress, she was overheard saying, “This is all about new beginnings for me.”

Wright was seen chatting with writer/director Rebecca Miller and husband Daniel Day-Lewis at the packed party at the Breslin attended by stars, including Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard and Billy Crudup. Her co-star Blake Lively, accompanied by boyfriend Penn Badgley, was also the talk of the evening in a plunging white jacket.

But Lively admitted she still gets nervous seeing herself on screen. She told said: “I loved the role, but it is hard to watch myself with so many people in the theater.”

Robin Wright says she moved her family out of Hollywood to stop them from turning into an Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt style target for the paparazzi.

The actress, who filed for divorce from Sean Penn in August, says in the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly: “I didn’t want to raise my kids in this weird, sycophantic society. If you have celebrity parents, it’s not a good recipe for the kids, or anyone at any age. Look at what Brad and An gelina go through.”
