The Oscar-winning actress brought home baby Louis Bardo, now three and a half months old, in January prior to the breakdown of her marriage to Jesse James.

The 45-year-old is pictured with the child, who was born in New Orleans, on the cover of the latest issue of America’s People magazine.

She also confirmed that she has officially filed for divorce from James.

Bullock and James, 41, began the adoption process four years ago and took custody of the boy just weeks after his birth.

The former couple initially decided to keep the news of the adoption secret until after the Academy Awards, which saw her named best actress for The Blind Side.

In the film, which is based on a true story, Bullock plays a Southern women who adopts a homeless African-American boy who goes on to become a football star.

Just 10 days after the star’s triumph at the March 7 ceremony, tattoo model Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee went public with claims she had an 11-month affair with James.

Of her decision to end her five-year marriage, Bullock told People: ‘I’m sad and I am scared.’

When asked about whether James had cheated, Bullock said she ‘had no idea about anything.’

‘I did the only thing I could do, and that was to pack enough clothes to live on, get all of Louis’ things and get out of town. My main concern was Louis.’

Despite her heartache, she is revelling in caring for the new addition: ‘He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way.

‘All I said when I met him was “Oh, there you are”. It was like he had always been a part of our lives.’

The baby is named after jazz great Louis Armstrong, famous for the song, What A Wonderful World.

She said her life now involved waking up, feeding the baby, burping him, playing with him and doing the laundry, adding: ‘I’m just amazed with him and at life.’

Bullock said of the subterfuge involved in keeping Louis secret: ‘People that I had worked with for years couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t let them into my house for [Oscar ceremony gown] fittings.’

After James’ affair allegations emerged – and more claims of infidelities surfaced – the motorcycle mogul apologised, conceding he had shown ‘poor judgement’.

He subsequently checked into a treatment facility to address ‘personal issues’.

He was spotted near his Huntington Beach home without his wedding ring on Monday after completing a 30-day rehab stint.

When asked whether James will have any formal parenting role in Louis’ life, she replied: ‘I will be adopting as a single parent. Anything else will be taken day by day.’

She said of her relationship with Jesse’s three children Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15: ‘I don’t want to know what life is like without those kids. Whatever we need to do, in the healthiest way, we are going to be co-parenting.’

James told the publication: ‘The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words.

‘Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart.’

James was previously married to a former porn star, Janine Lindemulder.

The tattooed porn star who sparked the beginning of the end of Sandra Bullock’s marriage has offered the actress a “heartfelt apology” for all the heartache her revelations have caused.

The Oscar winner walked out on husband Jesse James last month as Michelle McGee went public with claims of an 11-month affair with the TV mechanic.

Two other women have since come forward with similar claims, while a fourth mistress is also alleged to have been involved with James while he was married to the actress.

Now, as reports suggest Bullock is on the verge of filing for divorce, McGee has issued a public apology to the star, admitting she “feels bad” for her one-time love rival.

When asked what she’d say to Bullock if the two women were ever to meet, McGee told Australian TV show TodayTonight, “I’m sorry for your embarrassment. I’m sorry all this is public. I’m sorry for everything.”

McGee then added, “She (Bullock) must be hurt, devastated, upset, embarrassed. I want to give her a heartfelt apology. I’m sorry for her embarrassment and pain. I do feel really bad about it.”

But McGee’s apology is unlikely to win Bullock over – the model insists she understands what the actress is “going through” because she was “duped” by James too when he led her to believe his marriage was over.

She adds, “I feel like I was duped just as much as Sandra was. I feel like I was lied to just as much as she was. If Jesse was upfront with me in the beginning, we wouldn’t be in this situation.”

Sandra Bullock has finally broken her silence since news of Jesse James’ alleged affairs made headlines – denying the existence of a purported sex tape with her estranged husband.

“There is no sex tape,” she told People.com. “There never has been one and there never will be one.”

Her statement is in response to writer Ian Halperin’s gossip blog that claims James possesses an extremely graphic sex tape in which he is dressed in Nazi regalia and is having profanity-laced sex with the actress.

Halperin, the author of “Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson,” said owning such a tape could be used as leverage in the couple’s failing marriage.

In addition, a RadarOnline.com report also claims that while James carried on affairs with four alleged mistresses, he documented his exploits in more than a dozen homemade sex tapes.

“Most of the tapes feature a mass amount of Nazi paraphernalia,” an insider said. “It’s all really quite disturbing.”

According to a source who watched one of the videos, a naked woman is seen on her knees with her hands bound, while James is wearing a Nazi hat and waving his arm in a salute.

“He was shouting and singing and appearing to swig from a bottle of bourbon every now and then,” the source said.

Recent reports claimed that James fled Sierra Tucson only a week after he checked in for treatment, however according to Radar, the bad boy biker returned to rehab on Monday.

James, 40, checked himself into the Arizona facility on March 26 “to deal with personal issues” in the hope of saving his five-year marriage to the Oscar-winning actress, his rep said in a statement.

Though none of the alleged sex tapes are up for sale, they are reportedly not kept in a secured location.

“They could end up being made public just like the photo of Jesse giving the Nazi salute,” the source said. “There’s no doubt some of these tapes could leak and end up on the Internet.”

According to his attorney Joe Yanny, James is hoping that rehab and some privacy will help him recover and mend his relationship with Bullock.

“This whole thing has destroyed Jesse’s entire universe,” Yanny told The Associated Press. “Right now, he’s a broken man.”

“Jesse is in love with Sandra. The single most important thing to Mr. James and the children is that the marriage somehow survive.”
